In a darkened room a piano played softly, as flickering light from hundreds of screens played over slight fingers dancing over piano keys. A voice rose in the room, quiet, masculine as tje player's eyes traced along a staticy video of Hawk in battle, it was a still image, and lightning traced around her body, giving her no injury at all.
Feel The Darkness Smiling
Every Note is Dying
Silence is Refining
Every thought in her heartThe images around the man playing the piano changed, to Hawk sitting in a white room. She looked exhausted, malnourished, eyes unfocused as she rocked back and forth shadows twisting around her body erratically. The man smiled a little, eyes fond, continuing to sing.
Still the Fates are Weaving
Every Note That's Bleeding
As She Sits there Seething
All Alone in the Dark
Alone in The...Once more the images changed to show Hawk again, in a more recent state. Blood stained her hands and clothing and it seemed soon after she had fought the lab assasins. Her head was resting in her hands and she looked ill and lost, eyes dark and mirror like. The man's eyes were still fond, and oddly proud, as the music swelled and his voice rose in the air.
But in the Night
The Darkness Breathes
If She Wills it to be
Before Her Eyes
The Music Dies
But She Always will Hear Me
She Sits Alone
The Cards Are Shown
As She Embraces The Dark
The Only Sound
That She Will Hear
Is There in Her Heart...The shadows around Hawk grew thicker and her outline seemed to fade as she seemed to become part of the shadows, not moving, the darkness moving around her like shackles, or chains. The man nodded, satisfied, the song slowly drawing to a close, the words and music hanging in the air as the flickering screens went dark.
