Top three favorites: marimba, vibraphone, and quads (I don't play them, but I have a friend who is absolutely amazing on them and he's only a sophomore). Least favorites: bells, chimes, and cymbals in high winds.

I less than three mallets. My sister played xylophone all 4 years in marching band, and I really really REALLY want to play marimba... but I'm lead trombone and low brass SL next year, my sophomore year.

Alchimiste Furry de Terre Quads are cool, but I'm in Junior High and we don't have quads Dx So snare. I'm always forced to play bells however =.= They don't let me play snarefor some reason Ahh never mind :3 I played bass in our percussion ensemble and I loved it

I love all the auxiliary percussion. It's fun to jump from instrument to instrument. But my favorite would have to be...hmm...I like playing the slapstick 'cause it's loud. Oh and also outside of aux. perc. I love playing chimes. It's really fun to play a big instrument! ^^

Auxilary percussion is beast. The most memorable ones: Bass maraca (bass drum filled with marbles that is lifted over the head and shaken), stamping tube, chains, whip crack, and crank. Favorite mallets is the marimba though. But for some reason, I'm always being stuck with the crash cymbals since no one else will play them.

SUSPENDED CYMBAL ROCKS MY SOCKS! I only got to play it once this year, it's our last concert, and I play it once in the entire song, for two measures. emo
