Uhh...what's an honor band? xd I've never heard of it before. Is it like All County Band?

Most of them are regional. I've been to ones that are mostly just my city, and a few which are supposedly state-wide, but which really just have people from a few schools. There is an all-state honor band, but I can't tell you about it as I've never auditioned. Honor bands are a lot of fun though. If you make it in, you get to miss school, travel to the place (usually a college) where the honor band is, and then you get to play with a lot of really good musicians.

Well, I've made all county for the past four years and made Districts in 8th grade. I miss this year's so much. We played this Hazo song, "Sky is Waiting," so awesomely, and my band makes me sad now (no offense to them, we still win stuff). I feel accomplished, though, since I'm the second person ever to make the high All County for my high school.

If I get first chair at County and District (which there's a decent chance of), I'll be trying for state.

I went to one in November and I was one of 2 7th graders from my school to go and I was like 3rd chair I think but the other trombones were 8th graders, 9th gradrrs, and one really sucky 6th grader

I tried out the year before and got 17/25, and this year I got 1st /25 clarinets, woot!!

I was in honor band all through middle school And it rocked. The teacher was awesome and he made it a lot of fun i wish that i could go back. now i am a freshman and have to start at the bottom of the barrel and work my way up. because freshmen are in a band all by themselves. i hope o can work my way back up lol!
