It would take death to keep me from coming back and even then I would wait for you in the afterlife." He nuzzled her face gently and sat down on his back haunches, taking in her scent and enjoying be so close with her. "Mmm it's rather hot today. Would you like to find some shade? Maybe get something to drink and cool off?"

Thrud hugged him a little tighter to her self and purred happily. "Well a swim sounds nice. And you do smell a little funky from all the traveling you did i assume." she said as she let go and turned back into her dragonfly form. She snuggled him a little more then lead him off into the trees to where she knew of a nice secluded waterfall in the shade. "How was your training?

He nodded and laughed right along with her. "Ha... I bet... it's been a while since anyone forced me to bathe..." He looked around shyly nd then down at the dirt between his toes. "Eh-heh..." He followed her to the water his head brushing up against her side every now and then. "Oh.. my training? It went well actually... I feel so strong... ready for anything to attack these woods! I feel confident enough to know I can protect our children if need be!" He puffed his chest out a little. "If only I were an elder... than I would know I was strong enough!" He walked to the water's edge looking at his reflection and then wandered into the water.

Thrud walked in right behind him and sat in the water. "Well the kids can fight for them selves, though Ancistro doesn't like to but Skuld is very much interested in fighting. Shes kinda like you but with my snotty attitude i had before i met you. Oh did you know that Ancistro is a father now? And were grandparents?" she asked him as she used her tail to swish water up onto her self, cooling her body down. "But i'm glad you feel better from your training. You look great love." she said with a smile.

Kagu listened intently to his loves words and nodded. "I always knew skuld would be a fighter... and even so... I am still there father and will always be there to back them if they need it..." He watched her splashing water on herself and couldn't help was stare. Her fur was so brilliant and beautiful to him. He faded out for a minute and realized that she was still talking. "Huh? Oh wow! A Grandfather? Already... at my age ... geez... seems like they breed younger and younger these days... " He laughed and got in front of her tail letting the water hit him instead of her.

Thrud smiled as he spoke. She couldn't help but be the parent that left the kids to be and go about on their owe inless they wanted help or advice or were in grave danger. Then who ever was causing the danger would be dead. She laughed at what he said about breeding younger and younger. "Well yes but i guess that he was helping out the other male. Their cute little babies though." she said. Suddenly he blocked one of her waves of water and he got wet. "Kagu if you wanted to get wet you could have let me know." she said as she pushed him back into the water and then splashed him.

"Helping him out? I dunno if I would call it helping... then again... I guess... it could relieve some stress..." He looked around shyly and then was splashed by her in the water. "Hey!" He laughed brightly and pounced her in the water.

Thrud rolled him over a few times and then pushed him away and pounced on him in the deeper water. "I don't know if it was like that...i think the other male wanted a child but didn't have anyone. So Ancistro helped out, but got to keep one of the girls." she said as she sent another wave at him with her tail.

Kagu tilted his head to the side. He wasn't quite sure if he understood the concept of keeping a child. "So they just mated once... and then had two kids... and they each 'kept' one like pets?" He was seriously confused by this concept. How could they just separate pups like that? When he was a child he was separated from his sibling and it devastated him. And now one of his children had done the same. He shook off the water on his face, and stopped moving around so much in the water.

Thrud looked at him and shook her head. "I think that they will let the kids see each other still, just i'm sure they arnt living together." she said as she swam out to where he was. "And i think its mostly cause their both not interested in keeping the relationship between the two adults. Ancistro is too interested in knowing everything and looking for answers to really care about relationships with anything but the child. I've seen them together, their really cute, the female is a sweetie. Super shy." she said with a smile as she licked Kagu's cheek happily.

Kagu smiled widely, his tail swishing slowly in the water. "Mmm... that's interesting I suppose... It's hard to understand them when there are so few times that I am with our children... It's nice to hear that they are all doing well. I hear Ashe has a crush on someone... an elder infact..." He scoffed lightly and chuckled. "She says she thinks he might even be stronger than me." He laughed aloud and licked at Thruds face. "What do you think of that? Our youngest daughter in love with an elder?"

Thrud laughed softly and licked his face back. "No one is stronger then my Kagu." she said with a smile as she nuzzled his neck. "And she sounds just like you, falling in love with an elder. Though in your defense i wasn't an elder when we met." she said with a smile. "I think it will be good for her. She was always the little cute one. And Skuld...well Skuld is out there some where. I wonder if shes ever going to settle long enough to have children. Have you heard from Sol at all?" she asked as she curled her tail about her feet.
