I know, I know, this thread is old, but nothing's moving, so I'll thread necromance whatever I want.
Now, in the context of this discussion, I think there are probably two kinds of evil people, Sociopaths, who don't care, and people who on some level believe they are doing the right thing, and justify their actions through that, particularly if their own prejudices, vanity, or sense of "It should be this way" comes out or lurks below their righteousness. I think honestly, a won't be dissuaded, doing the "right" thing crusader is the most damaging kind of person, both in and outside of magic.

In fact, there is very little difference between a sociopath and any other human being. Sociopaths just lack the inhibitions that the rest of us have. You or I could have just as easily become a sociopath if we had the right kind of predispositions. Sociopaths don't need a justification. The rest of us do. But just because you think it's wrong or evil doesn't make it wrong or evil.

But just because you think it's wrong or evil doesn't make it wrong or evil. I think it is possible for objective wrong... and if you accept the idea of objective wrong/right, then what you think is wrong/right is either wrong or right. I demand to see how excision (female circumcision) could possibly be right. If I'm right, it can't. In which case, I'll have provided evidence for an objective wrong. If I think the practise is wrong (and I do), then what I believe is wrong, actually is.
