I totally miss that button. It makes it so that no one can hear you in the bathroom. Something nice and comforting about that to me. biggrin

D; Why don't the U.S toilets have them, too?
I get so embarrassed if I go to the bathroom in a public place. xD

XD I never knew that! They may as well have a button that plays music or something...

Actually I think they do have toilets with the option for music.
My friend and I did a little project about Japanese toilets for English class. biggrin It was interesting, to say the least.
There was something about a computerized toilet.. but I forget what it was supposed to do.

lol are you serious? a button that just makes the flushing sound?
Pretty soon they might have sound buttons at their desks at work to make them sound like they're typing or something. =P

My Japanese teacher said the toilets talk or something (don't remember the lesson fully). Like they say, "Thank you." after you're finished or something like that.

I'd go to Japan just to use the bathroom. biggrin
