I know Jack never wanted to die, but did he ever want to become a huge big face either? Do you think he is actually the face of boe and died, or did Jack come in contact with boe - and is actually someone else? I don't think Jack is really boe somehow.

I'd hate to die - but I'd also hate to become a huge face like poor boe. xp

well, jack always did have a big head!!!

(that's meant to be a joke about his ego, not actual size. just to make sure...)

Personally, I'd much prefer to think that The Face of Boe met the Doctor again. Maybe the Doctor told him about the incident with the Master, I don't know.
But I hate the idea of Jack mutating into a giant face. It's stupid.

Just being a big ol' face would be a boring form to a guy like Jack, I'd imagine... lol

not if you've lived billions of years over.
No matter how active someone is when they're young, once you live past a certain age, you become content to just sit back and watch. Some people this happens sooner, but for Jack, It probably only happened when he was unable to be as active as he once was.

I think people forget that Jack and the face of Bo have two different characters. This is because of his extreme age. He's lived so long he's seen everything. Of course his personality changes, everybody's does.

I do find Jack turning into the Face of Boe possible. It would be interesting to find that out on the show. Then I could starts screaming, "I knew it!" But is Boe his personal name, or his species?

Jack could be Bao. Bao is old and knows alot. Things could happen in the furture that could change Jack into Bao plus Jack body still could be aging it may change into Bao. It was said Bao is very old and lived a long time. Also Jack may of had to take a name change over the years. There could be many things that and can happen. It would be interesting if he is.

Woah. I totally thought that it was definite that The Face of Boe was Captain Jack.
Oh well, I honestly believe that they're the same person entity.
I mean, it all fits and makes sense. Didn't anyone ever confirm that Jack is, in fact, The Face of Boe we see later in the series?
