I pulled a Naito the other day. I was making a ham & cheese quesadilla in my toaster oven and since it's still new I'm still getting used to it having the lower 'ceiling' unlike my normal oven. I reached in to slide the quesadilla out and burned my knuckle on the top heating element. Heard a nice little sizzle and now I have a spade like shaped burn/blister on my knuckle. Didn't hurt as much as I expected but it still stung. Oddly, the more it heeled the more it hurt because it scabbed and made the skin tight so whenever I bent my knuckle it would pull it and it itched. Thankfully, the scab wasn't damaged at work somehow and now it's fallen off on it's own (yummy details right?) so maybe it won't scar. Though, it's a nifty little shape so I probably wouldn't mind too much if it scarred. Weird, hmm?
And yes, that's pulling a "Naito".

I love to cook and bake. I guess when you've been around people who love to do those kinds of things, it sort of rubs off on you

Flying Mojo Am I allowed to say that barbecuing is overrated? burning_eyes cheese_whine dramallama wahmbulance emo ninja I heart barbequing but I know that I won't be able to use a real one without using my parents for a loooong time. They are expensive!

But they can last for over ten years very easily I think?
My next project is to copy this and cut down the cooking time to less than five minutes of effort: http://ilovepasta.org/images/PressRoom_847-HamEggBrkfst.jpg
