The weather outside is getting very chilly. I can't spend near
as much time out in the garden now, which is sad. The wind
blows with a chill that shoots through me, and I shudder.
I today saught a 'coat' which would fit comfortable over my
dress. I found one, lined with what looks like fur, but I was
told wasn't, but then they proceeded to tell my is was fox fur.
Oh, I was so confused, untll they explaind the difference
between 'fox' and 'foux' to me.
I like the jacket, it's nice and warm.
Now I hope that maybe I can spend time out in the garden
again. It's always nice and quiet -- at least in the little corner
I inhabit. The warmer-time flowers are dying though -- the
first frost of the season saw to that. I understand though,
the balance of life and death, and that, unlike people, the
flowers and other plants will live again. But then the
evergreens, and the winter plants are flourashing, and the
garden is taking on a totally new life, despite the death.
Oh, it is just amazing to watch and see the change taking
place every day. I love to just sit there, and watch and learn.
I look foward to what this change in season might bring fourth,
and what new experiences I can learn from.

It seems winter is losening its cold grip on this world,
though just when I think it has gone for good, it returns
with a vengence. I yearn for this bitter cold to end, and
the world to begin anew with life. I wish to watch the
flowers bloom, and learn the secrets of the earth's
ressurection, more so than what the books I've read
have told me. I yearn for the gentle kiss of warm sunlight,
and the caress of the wind. So see off this cold winter --
that is what I desire.
The sudden warmspells have filled me with this desire.
'Spring fever', as they call it, is setting in. I had never
thought I would want for anything so bad...will I feel this
way, this want, when the heat of summer has left me
blistered? Will I then want for the cold, only to tire of it
and yearn for spring again?
So many questions. I suppose only time will tell.
