So the other day I was going to log on and send Drew a private message with a phone number where I could be contacted when they came and shut off our power, so now, because we have no battery in our phone modem, and we need it to have power to have a phone, I not only have no computer/internet, but I have no phone, so I can't communicate with anyone, anywhere, at any point, outside of work and my parents house, where I no longer reside.
I'm not sure when the power will be turned back on, but as soon as it is, I will be reachable again via Gaia, Vampirefreaks.com (WinterBlack), my facebook (Candice Wozniak Dionysus), and at the phone number 1-705-719-6956... So when you see a post from me saying that I am able to use my computer again, thats how I can be contacted.

Hey Tommy! Long time no see. What's up? I went and got married, moved out and am possibly getting a job as an assistant at a college police department, or at Walmart as a stocker... *sigh* I would rather work for the police department.

I'm doing good, Glory. I'm living with the man of my dreams, and a couple of really good friends, in a nice house. My boyfriend wants to work on a zombie novel with me, too. Things are really good. Plus, I may just have my own daycare going this month, on top of it! lol

O.o *yawns* 40 hour work weeks are meh...
working fulltime for a Microsoft IT Helpdesk, internal, for them, not public. It's not bad, pays more and less stressful honestly. Other than that, no major changes for me, well, I wasn't able to get registerd for school this semester so yeah, just been working and working... *sigh*

School's fun compared to just working. I haven't been able to go all year. I started a new job in January that was over 35 hours a week and hectic and I was planning my wedding, so couldn't do school. Then I got fired from that job and had no money for school. Blah. I think I already mentioned that I thought of a murder story that I'm going to start working on.

It kind of fell through, and I'm still unemployed. My boyfriend and I broke up. I'm moving at the end of the month. I'm considering moving out of Canada in a few months, after I get a job and save some money.

It's weird checking on this guild and finding we are still on the page from when I was graduating high school. This guild seriously needs a rebirth.

Hey, guys.
I know it's been forever since I've posted, and really, it's tough to stay on a site like this when there's so much in real life to be done.
But with that having been said, I feel nostalgic running through the old posts, and downright ashamed for letting my Cafe fall into such disrepair.
If at least a couple of the old circle people will agree--CariRae, Sha, Muse, KyoKyo, Tommy, Lion, or Glory for example--to come on a couple times a week for a couple hours and get the place back up to speed, I'll agree to a full-scale revitalization on my part with the promise of not backing out for at least six months from the date of confirmation.
This means that I'll be posting in the Cafe at least twice a week, replying to nearly all posts, watching for new threads, bringing old ones back to light, and setting up a stronger support group so that such a measure is never required again. We'll cull members inactive for 18 months, send warnings for 12 months, start advertising in the general forums as a wise old guild coming back to life, offer gentle critiques and the chance to have writing read by people who actually like reading and enjoy editing; a place where writers of all calibers can grow.
Expansion can wait, as can the chain of command. Obviously, a structured guild didn't work as well--if it's alright with Muse, other than new subforums, I think the new guild should be a sort of loose democracy where the higher members can more or less do what they want within reason and task assignment is minimized even as cooperation and community service is encouraged.
What does everyone think?
