Zathura I'm still alive, I haven't been avoiding you or anything. I'm still in Nova Scotia, and I only just got internet connection a few minutes ago. 3nodding The last thing Kninja said to me when I saw him last "Promise me you'll come online more." I said "I promise." But obviously I totally lied. I apologize Kninja! gonk Well, even if it's lagged I'll count it if you start soon xp I've been meaning to send you a PM or something and try to get a correspondence going that you can respond to at your leisure and convenience, though, and I myself have been failing at that so far. Otherwise, if I lose touch with you over the internet I'm going to have have to start going to Vancouver a lot more often, and I don't really want to, just 'cause that sort of stalking would be rly expensive. xd It's good to hear from you though! How is Nova Scotia?

I like it, but I miss home. Each province is like a different country, and when you think of the size and the distance, it's quite understandable. I'm looking forward to getting back to my economically unreasonable, predominately non-official language speaking, snootier, over caffeinated, earthquake imperiled, pine fresh smelling, environmentally pretentious yet lacking in results, home.

No kidding! Yet my cultural anthropology classmates laughed at me when I told them that I've only been as far east as Prince Rupert, as far north as Hyder, Alaska, as far west as Prince George, and as far south as Vancouver. That's actually quite a big area! Also waitresses in Vancouver who look at me funny for ordering margaritas and tropical drinks. If only they knew! t_t 0_o and another thing, I still find it weird that "pine scented" products don't really smell exactly like pine. Have you ever been pine mushroom picking? There's an experience that will give you some pine fresh smellings! 3nodding

It's kind of reminicent of pine forest that has been dumped with herbicide. That is still a tremendous distance, people don't seem to think of the mileage. A hundred years ago, if someone travelled so much they were considered adventurers. Besides, getting around all our bloody mountains, having to travel from valley to valley, is hard work, and many hours. Flying is cheating, really travelling is going via road.

Umm, I walk three blocks to the library...
As for pine scented cleansers and air fresheners, I'm sure they use artificial scents and chemicals, to get the closest possible simulation without getting the real thing. Just like how lemon cleansers use real lemon juice, but lemon juice has artificial flavoring.
