I want to be writing, but at the moment I'm more often banging my head against a brick wall (metaphorically, not literally...that would hurt a lot).
Tara, explain how this witch idea will differentiate from others. Please don't take offence at this, but just from reading your post there I immediately get a Sabrina/Charmed images. That's only because you've only said a very small amount about it though. If you tell us more about it, then we can see where your ideas differ...where the different twists in it are. smile

I am finishing a book I have been working on since about September. It is about a mountain that has been ruled by evil for centuries and now a group of people are sent there to over come. right now i have 303 pages.

I hear that Mel! And besides, if you were banging it against a literal brick wall you'd probably wouldn't be able to write much after wards. mrgreen

i finished it on Monday night and it's 310 pages. My mom works with a woman who is editing it for us, cause that's what she does for a living and afterward we are going to try and get it published.
And banging your head against a wall can help on some days.

I'm revising my novel at the moment, trying to come up with a suitable ending that doesn't drag on but isn't a gut-wrenching cliff hanger either. Anyone have any idea why a goblin would team up with a human king usurper? Me neither!

my only thought is to take out either (A) a person (B) a group of people (C) to rule the world (DUN DUN DUNNNN) or (D) no reason.

I can't see how a wall banging can help anything honestly... rolleyes

Let me see, I don't know much about yer characters so I can't really offer a good reason but I have some ideas. One of them would be because the human has something the goblin wants and it can be too difficult to acquire through other means, therefore they become allies. You know?

Right now I am working on developing my character of Minou, Its actually coming along REALLY well, I hope to integrate her eventualy in a story once i have enough background of a setting in the fantasy world.

I'm currently supposed to be writing my novel, but I've suddenly got inspiration for two different stories. And it's putting me off crying
And I really don't want to start a new idea until I'm finished.

Right now I'm beginning to rewrite what I have so far of 'When Life Ends' so it all slips more smoothly in with Jack's death. I've rewritten it completely and changed the circumstances completely too. Even if he hasn't quite died yet, the main thing which causes his death has happened. And I'm also introducing a new character into the story which should help me get around a few little plot problems; Jack's guardian angel. I'm currently looking for a good name which sounds alright, but is, um, angel-like. I've got my eyes on 'Lynn' at the moment, but I'm not sure if it is very angel-like. But I'm pretty certain his guardian shall be female. I don't think a male would work as well.
And I'm writing an awful lot, because I'm delighted that my laptop is fixed and working again whee ! Even if I'm not writing that competition entry that I should be writing...

I have finally been inspired to begin writing the second novel of The Twin Worlds Trilogy, entitled Shadowblade. It's going to be really good...once I finally kick myself into writing it. It's currently sitting at about 4,500 words. XD
