Learning your ABC's and 123's
Tyra sat on the floor a rug under her butt to make it less uncomfertable and yet she couldn't stop wiggling and fidgeting. Her mother was trying to teach her how to write...and didn't interest her very much she wanted to go and draw. Or make more jewerly. Anything but this anyway.
Jayoku knew...that Tyra wasn't paying attention...this was going to be harder than she thought. she knew the girl was intelligent but..her lack of focus was her downfall. The only thing that could keep her attention was making crafts. ..Wait...that could work. She moved away and into the kitchen where she kept most of her craft making stuff. opening a cupboard she withdrew her many tool kit full of beads. When she entered the room again the young girls face became riveted on her. she knew what was in the box...you could nearly see the drool coming out of the corners of her mouth.
Jayoku opened the box and then took a handful of beads. "You can have a bead every time you answer a question correctly ok?" she said laying a handful into a small bowl she had nearby. Tyra's red eyes watched as each bead fell into the bowl her leaf wiggling in excitement.
"really?" she asked as if doubtful Jayoku would part with such magnificant treasures. Jayoku only nodded and Tyra looked positively gleeful.
"Now..." she picked up a bead in her hand. "I have...One...One bead in my hand. Repeat after me...One."
"One." Tyra replied obediantly.
Jayoku smiled. This shouldn't be too bad then.

*hours later*
Jayoku leaned on the table looking less enthusiastic now than she had been earlier. A large portion of beads now in the posession of Tyra showed that at least the girl was a quick learner when she was focused.
But now that she had so many beads the chikorita girl was examinin each one like a gem dealer making sure they were actually worth the price of knowledge for them.
