Like most days Tyra was trying on her large assortment of jewelry trying to pick the best ones to wear to Corbin's house. For some reason she really wanted to impress him and the only way how she could figure was to show him all the pretty things she could make. She was excited, this would be her first time eating at a friends house. And this would also be her first guy friend.
He liked neat things, like dancing and princess's she tried to remember if he had met Fenrir...she was a princess. Right? SO they would get along great!
"Tyra!" Came a voice from down the hall, it belonged to her mother.
"COMING!" she shouted back gathering up quickly a few more accessories and jamming them into a cute little lady bug purse she then sprinted down the hall way where her mother was putting on her shoes and getting on her coat.
"Come now Tyra you don't need all that.." Her mother started with a sigh but the chikorita girl ignored her and continued to hurried place on her sandals and grabbing a coat.
"But mooooom...I never gave him a reward last time...so i gots to bring what I have so he can pick da bestest one." she continued as if it all made sense in her head, her mother just shook hers.
"Well come one we don't want to be late...after all I did boast about being prompt.." Jayoku muttered opening the door and Tyra rushed past her eagerly. This was going to be the best evening EVER.

The drive wasn't so..bad. Tyra was wiggling around eager to get to their destination...she wanted to be there now! Jayoku was getting tired her eyes scanning the street numbers until she suddenly and nearly passed it. Parking and finally able to burst out of the car Tyra ran up the house and rang the door bell enthusiastically.

Corbin was hard at work. He'd cleaned the entire house almost by himself, which shocked Greg. The boy had laid out everything so it'd be ready. His tights were on, the music was on the chair so he could reach it, and he had a DVD of his favorite show all ready in the DVD player thanks to his uncle. He waited, tail going like a whirlwind.
He watched the clock. Greg had told him when the number said '7:00' they would arrive. He wriggled as it got ever closer. At 6:50, he bolted to the door at a ring. He threw the door open with a bit more enthusiasm then necessary for the situation and stared at Tyra. He proudly displayed his tights to her. "Hey! Lookie these are my tights? See? One piece just like I told you!" He took her hand and tugged her inside, gesturing at the cleared floor. "I'm gonna show you dancing there!"
Greg chuckled and rolled his eyes, moving to the door. "Hey Jay... C'mon in. Dinner's almost ready and..." He leaned backward to look at the clock. "You're right on time." He smiled and moved back inside to his semi clean house. Only a few papers lay on the coffee table and a bottle of pills. He put away his ashtray in front of the woman to ensure he didn't plan to smoke in their presence. "Man, those two sure are excited." He said with a shake of his head.

Tyra was a bit wide eye'd at the door suddenly swung inwardly and there was Corbin. Wearing the most unique pair of ...shirt/pants she had ever seen! Where those his tights he mentioned before? When he spoke she found her suspicions were correct and she only grinned clutching a lady bug purse tightly in her hands she then threw her arms wide and glomped the boy.
"Your going to teach me how to dance???" She exclaimed in a gleeful tone. Her little nub of a tail wiggled from under her skirt Her vines came out to greet the young zangoose boy as well. Petting his ears, face and shoulders while she hugged him tightly.
Jayoku gave an inward smile at the pair. They were really cute together. Scratch that...extremely cute together. Looking up she pushed her glasses back up the bridge of her nose giving the man named Greg a large smile.
"So it seems. But here we are on time as promised." She chirped looking subtle behind the man and approving of the cleanliness of the house. Most men had pigsties for a home. She was happy to see this man appreciated having a clean home. Especially with a child in the house.
"Tyra made sure you take off your shoes okay?" she reminded the over excited girl.
"Huh? Oh right!" Tyra said as she managed to un-attatch herself to Corbin and slip her shoes off. It made her several inches shorter, the bright orange platform shoes with flowers decorating the top were a new purchase for the girl.
"Okay come show me how to dance!" she continued her eyes focusing back on Corbin.

Corbin startled when he was hugged. His red eyes were confused and that quickly turned into embarassment. He put his ears down as they were touched but was obviously amazed the the vines and it did feel good... His leg started to thump as she found a rather hard to reach spot with one of his claws. He was complete butter. "Mhm... Teach... dance... good... little to the left."
Greg sputtered a laugh and hid it with a cough. That was an interesting little tick. Who would have ever guessed that? He grinned at Jayaku and tried to keep his laughter down. "Well that's interesting information. I didn't know he did that." He chuckled and leaned against his counter, eyebrows arched. "We'll start dinner have they have their fun."
The boy's leg came to a slow stop as he blinked. Where'd the nice itching gone? Oh... He grinned at her. "Sure!" He pulled her over to the mat he used for both Yoga and dancing and turned on his radio. Soft music started, the Waltz of Flowers. It was one of his favorites. He started off slowly, doing the simpler moves. "Okay first you gotta do the basic stuff."
First Position: Premiere.
His toes pointed out to make a V shape while the feet are in a straight line at the heels. Heels together. Knees together. Arms forming a soft curve out in front of the body. The spine is kept straight with the back, pelvis, and the head in alignment. He had it all down perfectly.
He held it then gracefully slipped into the second one. He seemed oblivious to Trya being there. He had to practice in front of a lot of people and she was no exception. He forgot he was supposed to be teaching and went into the full performance. He spun on the front of his foot and kept his arms almost folded in front of his chest, one on top of the other before leaping a few inches and rounding there.
By the end of the song, sweat was running down his face. As it came to an end he allowed himself to slowly go to the floor then laid his head against his knee. He panted as he sat back up, red eyes glittering with excitement.
"You know..." Greg said to Jay, "seeing that look in his eyes... I hope he never stops feeling that way about dancing if he wants to do it forever."

Tyra found him absolutely adorable as he melted under her scratchings. She didn't know he liked them that much, she pondered if Fenrir liked them to. She would have to try it out on her the next time she saw her best friend.
She allowed him to drag her over to the dance matts and listened to the music she had never heard of before. It was..very pretty, very dancable to. She could see why he liked to dance with this sort of music. She watched as her 'teacher' started showing her basic moves.
So...this was ballet? She tried to imitate his premiere move pointing her toes out in a V shape and then he slipped into a different position she tried to imitate that one but found she wasn't as graceful moving into the second position and then he continued onwards. She couldn't keep up with him and soon she just stood there watching him prance and dance about.
He was very good. More than a little awed by his performance when he finally finished she clapped at him excitedly.
"WOW! you are so good! How long have you been practicing ballet?" she chirped moving over to him eager to know all the information.
Jayoku giggeled as Tyra scratched the boys ear and then they went off to go play. She looked to Greg with a large smile on her face.
"They seem to be getting along rather well don't you think? And I thought the boy disliked her when they first met..." She said musing on the initial reaction Tyra had gotten from Corbin when the had first met at the mall.
"Oh do you need help in the kitchen at all?" she asked the man as she loved being helpful.

Corbin blushed and shrugged. "I donno, few months? My teacher says I learn fast..." He itched the side of his face then looked at her excitedly. "Hey I um... I'm trying for a role in our performance... and uh, would you like to go if I get the part?"
Greg shook his head and smiled. "I got it. I may not be the best cook but I can't let guests help." He turned off a pot and crossed his arms, standing beside Jay. "Asking her out already? Jeeze, Jay, if we're not carefully we'll have grandkids..."
The Zangoose was to young to understand the joke so just smiled. If he had been older Greg would have found himself under a nice scratch attack. His ears went up as he waited for her answer nervously, moving to the TV to turn it on and play his movies like his uncle had shown him.

Tyra beamed up at Corbin looking very excited at the idea. "OOOOH are you inviting me out??" She squealed sounding very very happy about the idea, she could dress up and see him perform!
"I would love to see you dance! You are very good!" She said clapping her hands together.
Jayoku gave a small cute smile nodding her head at his joke. They were very cute together.
"Well if you say you don't need help...I could set the table...maybe?" she said with semi plee. She loved helping out and couldn't stand just watching people do things.
