The only thing that seemed out of place in the flat rolling grass feild was the one gaint greef leaf that stuck out amoungst the yellowing grass.
"TYRA!" Jayoku shouted with a giggle, they had started playing this game of hide and seek but the poor chikorita girl didn't seem to understand the concept of hiding completely. Jayoku watched as the leaf wiggeled and then started to migrate east slowly. Well..at least she was trying to be sneaky.
Tyra herself was lanky for her age, her large red eyes always full of mischeif. Her minty colored skin seemed to jar against the drying grass feild though she didn't take any notice of it. Poking a head out one could see that sheh ad vibrantly green hair, she scoweled as Jayoku gave a shout and pointed in her direction.
"AHA! Found you!" she cried happily. One couldn't help but wonder who the adult was here...

It was a large field. Granted, it wasn't nearly as much fun as the park, but Peri was carrying a kite along. Apparently he and the bouncing bird girl next to him were hoping to get it airborne. Unfortunately, it seemed to be a rather windless day. Not that that fact crushed the hopes of Piper. "C'mon, Daddy!"
He handed Piper the line and held the kite up. "Run really fast and see if you can get it up." Nope, he had no hidden motive behind this trip. Especially not one to wear the seemingly endless bundle of energy out. With a grin and a cheer, Piper darted off across the field, the kite flopping about behind her as she ran.

"You cheated!" Tyra cried out as she ducked back into the grass. "COUNT AGAIN!" she shouted as her green leaf wiggeled off in the direction of the other girl and her father.
Jayoku sighed, but was smiling all the same. She then spotted Peri and his...rather bright colored child and decided to move towards them as well. Since Tyra was headed in that direction it only made sense.
Crouching in the grass she moved and stealthly as she could manage which was quite impressive considering her size, unfortunately she didn't seem to raelize her ...leaf was poking out the top of the grass. Hearing voices she perked upand headed towards them. Peeking out and watching a bird girl running with a kite that just refused to fly. Intersting...she found herself smiling as her leaf wiggeled in excitement.

Piper ran harder, looking back over her shoulder at the stubborn kite. She wasn't running fast enough, then! It would fly, no matter what the girl had to do to make it. Unfortunately, Piper wasn't looking where she was going and was headed right for Tyra.
Peri grinned as he watch his charge's failed attempts at getting the kite in the air. Oh yes, he'd just let her run herself out and then suggest they come back another day and try again. He could only hope that her attention span didn't wander too soon (preferably not before she was tired). However, something moving ahead of Piper caught the man's attention. Squinting, he tried to make out what was in the grass, then "PIPER! Watch out!" He shouted at the girl, hoping she wouldn't run into the other one...

Tyra's already large eyes widened more so as the fire bird girl ran towards her. Thinking this was a game she jumped out the grass throwing her arms into the air.
"you found me!" she cried in glee, thinking that her mom had recruited help to find her. Though...perhaps she should of gotten out of the way instead of jumping up in the tall grass. . .
Jayoku now had a little worry on her face, she jogged towards Perilas, her attention focused on her daughter and the other girl. As much as she loved the girls sense of....fun if she wasn't careful she could end up hurting someone...or herself for that matter.
"Tyra! Get out of the way!" she called out but she thought maybe she was too late...

Piper's attention was drawn from her kite to her father when he shouted. Her face wrinkled as the girl was confused, then heard another voice. She'd found who? The fire bird turned in time to spot a brighter green form jump out in front of her.
Quickly, the girl skid her feet into a stop, luckily avoiding running Tyra over. Unfortunately, the quick stop brought the kite plummeting down out of what flight it had had to bop Piper on the head.
"Ooowwwwwwieee!" The girl cried out, her body going stiff as she sobbed in pain.
"Piper!" Peri quickly headed towards the girl to make sure that no lasting damage had been done.

Tyra watched as Piper went down and started to sob. Squatting instantly she reached a hand out and patted the girl on the shoulder trying to console her. She turned her face towards the kite and gave it a stern glare.
"Bad kite! Your not suppose to hit lil' kids on the head!" she scolded a vince coming out a 'shaking a fist' towards it. She returned her gaze back to the little fire bird girl. A large smile on her face despite everything.
"your amazing you know that? never seen someone so agile to stop like that!" she said with enthusiasm.
Jayoku watched as the collision was avoided but..the kite got its revenge anyway, she jogged towards Piper, Tyra and Peri who was now heading over to them. The little girl was crying, but at least...Tyra was ...trying to cheer her up?

Peri knelt beside the girl, quickly checking her head for blood or bruising. Luckily, he found neither and so was left with the task of consoling his daughter. Piper blinked back tears as she peered at Tyra. After a few moments spent sniffling, the girl finally responded. "Really?" Compliments were always a good way to cheer anyone up. Peri hid a smile as Piper peered at the other girl. "You has a leaf on your head," Piper stated solemnly.

Tyra was always one for....over the top reactions. And thusly she nodded her head enthused her leaf bobbing as she did so.
"Yah it is apart of me. Can't take it off." she explained as she then let some of her vines come out from around her neckline. She waved them in front of Piper in a hello sort of way. "These are my vines, arn't they cool? Though not nearly as cool as the color of your feathers!" she awed over the vibrant orange that made up most of Piper's body.
Jayoku jogged up to find Peri had taken ahold of the situation easily and Tyra was already gabbing up a storm to the little girl.
"everything ok?" she asked towards the adult mainly.

Peri nodded to the woman, giving a bit of a smile to the two girls as he stood up. "Yeah. I swear kids are made of rubber and just bounce back from whatever injury they get."
Piper's eyes widened at the sight of the vines. "I wish I could do cool things like that... All that happens is some of my feathers fall out..." She fluffed her feathers for a moment.

Tyra gave a chuckle and withdrew her vines, she didn't want to be a show off after all. "But I don't have feathers! Your so lucky to have them, they look so soft!" she continued in admiration. Her leaf wiggeled as she then offered a hand to the girl. "You want to try and get that kite back in the air? It was pretty mean to it...maybe we should play hide and seek instead...what do you want to do?" she asked as stood her hand still offered to help her up.
Jayoku nodded her head at Peri's words. Even when Tyra hurt herself she would only manage a sniffle before getting back up and continuing what she was doing.
"yes that is so true." she agreed and then giggled slightly at her daughter. She turned to Peri and gave a slight and informal bow. "Hi my name is Jayoku, I am playing mother to this rather rambunctious little girl."

Piper grinned at the girl. "Hide and seek sounds like fun! I like games." The bird girl eyed Tyra for a moment. "Not it!" She shouted and darted off to find a place to hide.
Peri grinned. "I'm Perilas, though you can just call me Peri. Somehow I ended up becoming father to this bundle of pent up energy..."

"hey!! No fair!" Tyra shouted with a bout of giggles afterwards she then covered her eyes with her hands and began to count.
"1.....3.....2...7...." She counted...she wasn't very good at her numbers yet, but heck as long as she counted that was what counted right?
Jayoku smiled at Peri's introduction and watched as Peri's child dashed off to go hide. "Looks like another round of hide and seek if about to begin. Should we join?" she asked him, for they had been playing this very game before the crash.

Piper grinned as she ran off a short distance, then started to look around. Now, this wasn't exactly fair... Her bright orange feathers would stick out in the field. The girl frowned, trying to find something to hide behind or under or even in. She walked a short distance, then stumbled as she found a small dip in the ground. The girl ducked down into it, her fingers splayed over her face as she tried to hide.
Peri smiled as he watched Piper run off and try to find a place to hide. "Sure." He might as well join, knowing how much Piper loved games and playing.

"Sweets we are playing too so you have to find three people ok?" Jayoku tapped her daughter on the shoulder to make sure she heard.
Tyra looked up and nodded her head happily. Trying to find more people was much more fun!
"OK! I am still countin though!" She said with a nod of her head. She then returned back to counting.
"12, 4....8....22..." she continued merrily.
Jayoku smiled at Perilas as she then went to hide. She wanted to be a spot where she could still keep an eye out on her daughter...thus she didn't choose a very good hiding spot, haphazardly behind a bush.
