+Rules

00. All shop-related PMs should be sent to Cerexi, not to Mintaka. Unless otherwise asked, please direct all PMs to the mule. Otherwise you will likely be ignored, as Mintaka's PM box is already overflowing with other things.
01. Adults must be hosted by yourself. Much as I'd love to host indefinitely, I don't wish to overtax what is. Unless you'd like to donate towards my hosting bill... ;p But pelase, host your own when they reach adult, please.
02. No stealing anything! Not only is it rude, inconsiderate, and also against most rules and sense... just don't. I've worked hard on the concept, Chibi worked hard on the lines, etc. - just don't do it. You will be caught, you will be reported.
03. No whining, begging, fighting, etc. Whining and begging for one won't endear you to me or anyone else, and won't get you a Cerexi. Fighting because you didn't get one and soemoen else did will get you reported for harassment if it persists, and likely grey or blacklisted.
04. No drama! I don't want other shop drama coming in this thread, personal dramas between people, etc. I really don't want drama about this shop either. Have issue? Take it to PMs. Don't come crying here you got banned elsewhere; I don't want all this being slogged around my thread. It makes people unhappy and uncomfortable. Have a problem with this shop? Cerexi's PM box is always open. Have at. Alternately, don't openly flame other shops/people in my thread.
05. No altering cards/pets. No adding your own items/changing info, etc. That's my job, and any altered cards will not be legal. Those found altering anotehr's card for the purpose fo stealing the pet will be reported and blacklisted.
06. No selling/giving away of your pets! If you won't be on Gaia ever again and wish to give them to someoen, contact me first. If there's a Cerexi baby up for sale, I'll deal with it. I want to know who has what, when - or there will be indications of theft and dealt with as such accordingly. Respect my wishes, please.
07. These rules are subject to change as needed, including removal, additions, and editing of existing rules. I like to call this right of the shopkeep - I own the place, I run the place, I have the right to change things as needed. Any changed will likely be noted somewhere for everyone, and should be respected.



+FAQ

01. Are these RP manditory?
Nope. Not RP manditory, but I'll love you if you did.

02. Can I have one?!
I don't know, can you? Catcha flatsale, custom, or other means. No freebies by people asking; I decide who and when that happens. Don't ask cause it's like begging.

03. Can they breed?
Yeah, see the breeding post when the shop's set up - it's a rather... interesting way.

+Type 1 :: Speed Claim
This type of sale waits for Mintaka to say GO! Once she does, you post which # you want, and the first ones to claim that specific number get that one.

*Rules:
01. No post editing.
02. One claim per post.
03. May only purchase 1 per flat - either yourself, OR a friend.
04. Send trade after confirmed winner.

+Type 2 :: Speed Request
Different from a Speed Claim, the Speed Request is simply expressing interest as fast as you can after Mintaka says GO! As soon as enough people have said "I want a Cerexi", Mintaka will list them in order of first to last. First person picks what they want, then second and so on. You may pass if there are none you like.

*Rules:
01. No post editing.
02. You must post the following: "I want a Cerexi" Not the number, etc.
03. One claim per post. You may post twice if the sale permits to claim one for a friend, but one per person per flat.
04. Please send trade after picking which you want.
05. No choosing out of order; wait for Mintaka to post the list order, and wait for each person before you to pick.
06. If you DO take too long without ANY post, you may be bumped to the bottom of the list.

+Type 3: Raffle Style
In this type of sale, Mintaka will say GO! Then, you request a ticket. After a certain amount fo time, she will close the sale, and randomly draw numbers. Those people win, in order, a Cerexi. First draw get first choice, etc. It's like the above, except random.

*Rules:
01. One ticket per person.
02. You may choose to give it to someone else.
03. Trade must be sent after draw.

+Type 4: RP Prompt
You will be presented with a prompt and Mintaka will say go. Your task is to reply to the prompt as best you can and answer what it asks of you. While you won't be judged specifically on style or grammar, please try your hardest. After a certain amount of time, it will be closed and Mintaka will judge and pick winners. You must state which you are going for, and you may only enter once.

*Rules:
01. No plagarizing other entries! [This will earn grey to blacklisting.]
02. No leet-speak or other weird writing styles. Plain english please.
03. Please attempt to use proper grammar and spelling. Typos happen, but don't use u, r, or ur among other "txt spk" and such. Full words.
04. Be sure to address the prompt!
05. You may not give the Cerexi you win away.
06. Please send trade after you are chosen.
07. Please be sure to mention which Cerexi you want before your entry.

+Type 5: Sentence!
A personal favorite of mine for random fun, this is a little tricky sometimes to understand for the first time, but incredibly fun. These will be judged by Mintaka however she feels. She will present you with a set of letters, and you must build a sentence out of it. Example:

Big aarvarks make wild giggles.

You may not rearrange the letters, or make more then one sentence. Sometimes the letters presented will be a word - you may not reuse that word in the sentence. You may only enter once, and only for yourself - and state which you want.

*Rules:
01. No copying others.
02. One entry per flatsale.
03. No giving away of your win.
04. No rearranging of the letters.
05. No adding letters beyond what exists.
06. Attempt to make sense at least, however silly.
07. Send trde after confirmation of win.

Customs will open randomly. If slots are full, they are full. If you still want a custom, see bribes or pet trades. Please PM Cerexi with the information if the slot is open. When you are confirmed for the slot, please direct your trade to Mintaka so she may confirm upon completion.

Bone stage will be available when children arrive.

Please note that I will gauge the difficulty if I feel it will be harder then you think. When in doubt, ask. most will likely fall in the first two, the last is for uber-rainbow with blends, mass markings, and such. When in doubt, ask.

Simple: 1-2 colors, minimal designs/simple blends. 6k Adult, 10k Bone
Medium: 2-4 color, simple designs all over, or 1-2 medium designs. 8k adult, 12k bone
Hard: 3-6 colors, harder patterns/many blends, etc. Very specific details and lots of markings. 10k Adult, 14k Bone
Complex: 5+ colors with heavy markings/blendings, such as rainbow/tie die or highly complex patterning with less colors. Lots fo celtic/tribal marks all voer wuld be complex, even with 2 colors due to their complexity and detailing. 12k Adult, 16k Bone

Breeding is not open. blaugh However, I can say that by taking one bone each form the adults [they will regenerate it] and grinding it to dust, one can combine the dust goether and 2 new bones - with traits form both parents - will be created. More regarding breeding, etc. will be available when we understand this more, and there's actual adults around.

+Rules

01. No Godmodding. No controlling others characters, killing them, etc. If they don't get a chance to react, it's godmode and will be retconned like it never happened. Persistant godmodes will result in grey or even black listing. It's not fair, and makes things unfun for others.
02. PG-13. Keep it reasonable, k? No sex, no excessively detailed violence, etc. Respect Gaia's rules. Also, try not to swear every other word. While the occasional word isn't the end of the world, it would be nice to keep it somewhat not so frequent in repsect to other smore then myself.
03. IC/OOC Clause. What's IC is IC - it doesn't mean someone hates or loves you OOCly. Keep them seperate. I hate when OOC stuff becomes IC, and IC is OOCly taken.

Use your common sense and have fun. Remember the the Cerexi don't have excessive powers - in fact they have no inherent magic other then the curse's protection now aside a very few specified individuals.

+Where

RP occurs in the thread currently, and when there is RP, please use brackets for OOC conversation. If RP's been quiet for over ahalf hour brackets can be shed until RP resumes, etc.

Cerexi are actually being found here in Gaia, somewhere out near Aekea. So yes, you do exist, but you yourself ICly don't have to be here. But if you want to use your Cerexi in another journal,. etc. by all means you can.
