 Oniwa Kye| Satetsu | Speed/Combo | Otogakure | Kage ||| Shinobi Profession: Taijutsu Specialist || RPC Profile || Kye couldn't help but feel somewhat awkward in this village. Everything just seemed so open, out in the air, free for anyone and everyone else to see and learn about. Kye was certain that some of it was due to her diplomatic status, considering the Hokage herself was giving her a tour, but something about it all was just so unfamiliar to her entire lifestyle, that it was strangely off balance. When the Hokage mentioned coming to see how the students trained, the thought was insane to her. "Who would so openly display the secrets of the village to someone they had merely met a few minutes ago?"... sure, they were in talks for a peace treaty, but it was still very odd to her. Kye had not considered that the Hokage might want to see the same of her village.
In the end however, Kye figured that this was only what naturally came with a village like Konoha, which was already so wealthy and prosperous and so well known. With ANBU everywhere, the need for keeping secrets weren't as critical, but she was sure the Hokage would do as Kye would do in her own village and show only the basic training grounds. After all, this was just the academy... and the more she thought about it the more sense it made. To have the academy out in the open however... well, that was still a little strange to her, even if it was only for younger students.
However, only a smile of appreciation would be seen on Kye's face as she got up as the Hokage did, accepting her offer gladly without showing any signs of her internal monologue... "Of course, I would be delighted to see it. I am not sure how the Otokage would feel about an exchange of students, but I will be sure to bring it up to him when next we speak." Kye then followed along beside the Hokage as she was led through the busy streets to the academy, taking in the sights as she walked.

Smirking in response to his directness, Itsuki found herself impressed at the confidence and boldness presented in this new generation of shinobi. They would truely grow up to be great shinobi. 'The Will of Fire still continues to burn brightly for Konoha. Its comforting to know that it hasn't left the hearts of the people.' Speaking in a casual tone of voice, Itsuki knew that the best thing she could do for the boy at the moment was sent him off to the academy. "Don't worry about containing your eagerness and drive to becoming a stronger shinobi. Determination is something that just shouldn't be contained. Anyways, its a shame, but I will not be able to assist you in your quest to learn Fuuton techniques though I'm sure someone at the academy will be more than qualified to train you and provide you with the Genin exam. Once you compete the exam, I'll see to it that you learn at least one or two of our bloodline techniques."

Smirking at her success at convincing Alkaid into learning ninjutsu, Itsuki ran through her mind the two Katon jutsu she wanted to teach Alkaid before posing the last part of the exam to her. "Great to have you on board. Now then, lets start off with the basics, this is called the 'Katon: Ichi' and its the basic building block for all the future Katon techniques that I'll be sure to make you learn." Smiling at the last comment, Itsuki began focusing chakra to her hand for the demonstration.
Lifing up both hands, Itsuki formed the tiger seal and concentrated her chakra to the tip of her right index finger. Feeling the heat rush through her body helped to remind Itsuki of one of the reasons why she loved the Katon element so much. It felt like she was constently living on the edge, if she wasn't careful, she'll burn herself. Sensing the heat build up fully at her right index finger, Itsuki released the seal just as a small flame appeared at the tip of her finger. Bending down and grabbing a bundle of grass, Itsuki began cutting through it with her finger.
After burning throught the bundle of grass, Itsuki allowed it to drop to the floor as she began providing an explanation for the technique she just used. "That was the Katon: Ichi and in order to properly peform it, you need to focus and concentration all your chakra onto the tip of one finger. Ýou'll feel the heat rushing through your body but it should be low enought that it doesn't cause you any pain. You can use any of the 12 handsigns for this jutsu." Done, Itsuki waited patiently to see how Alkaid would do with this first jutsu.

Description: The basic building block of a great many techniques down the line, this is presumably the very same skill that began the study of Katons. Molding their chakra through a simple seal of any choice, the user is able to focus it onto the tip of their index finger in the form of heat. With this, they can cut through things such as glass and rope with some difficulty. However, at this stage, control of one’s chakra is so minimal that this technique can only be used by one finger and essentially has no combat use.

Academy Student | Konohagakure | Weapon Master | Tendril Threading  xxxxxxxxxxxxAlkaid nodded as she performed the same handsign as the Hokage. She put her hands in the exact same position for the Tiger Seal and then focused her Chakra. As the heat swelled up in her body and surged through her, she directed it right to the tip of her left index finger. The heat finally reached an apex of its maximum heat, allowing Alkaid to focus and turn into a small flame on her finger. She had learned her first Ninjutsu.

Profession Base Benefit - 1) Increased Number of Weapon Styles: Because of their focus and training in the use of weapons, weapon masters are able to practice more weapon styles than others. (see below)
Academy Student: 1 weapon style

Chuunin: 3 weapon styles, 1 Weapon or Taijutsu Style
Jounin: 4 weapon styles, 2 Weapon or Taijutsu Style

Nodding her head in approval, Itsuki was impressed that she was able to get the jutsu correct on her first try. Debating over which basic jutsu would suit her better, Itsuki eventually decided on the Tanebi no Jutsu. "Alright. Good work Alkaid-san. Seeing how you're aiming to pursue the career of an weapon master, I'm sure this will come in handy for distraction purposes." Focusing her chakra on the grass beside Alkaid's left foot, Itsuki snapped once and the grass began to burn as a small cinder appeared only to blow out a few seconds after. "Focus your chakra to one spot nearby and snap your fingers. This acts as a catylst for the jutsu to activate."

Description: Basic to all Katon users is the ability to set thing things on fire, obviously. This technique allows a person to snap their fingers and ignite a spark anywhere they so wish. A simple cinder and no more, this jutsu is used mostly in pranks and the like.

Academy Student | Konohagakure | Weapon Master | Tendril Threading xxxxxxxxxxxxAlkaid smiled a bit. Setting things on fire was fun. So she started. Alkaid focused her Chakra through her body and her heat rose quickly. She used her Chakra Control to direct the heat through her body into her hands. She then focused it all into her fingers and snapped, cause sparks of flame to shoot out. She did it a few times and got the hang of it. She liked how the heat felt in her body, but the feel of using her weapons was the best things she ever felt.

Smiling as she watched Alkaid easily get the hang of the next technique, Itsuki felt that the girl was ready to perform the final jutsu that would prove her worthy of genin. "Impressive work Alkaid-san. Since you've learned and demonstrated yourself capable of using a mimimum of two elemental jutsus, its now time for you to demonstrate that you can perform a basic universal technique. Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, it's up to you. Just don't mess up and it'll be good."

She then decided to use a simple Jutsu that is the most useful in her mind. Alkaid quickly performed the handsign needed and called out, "Bunshin no Jutsu!" Just then, a perfect clone of herself appeared next to her. Simultaneously, they both yelled out, "Did I do good!?"

It had been a year since Hoshigaki Satsuzame had taken the Genin test and passed. So it was a slight bit of nostalgia that Satsu witnessed the test of an academy student. He had only recently entered the training grounds in search of a Suiton master, in the hope that he could learn a new technique before he took on missions.
Satsu decided to approach the instructor training the academy student and see if they knew of one, Strolling over, he held up a large fish that was surprisingly still alive. "Would you happen to know anyone with an affinity to suiton? I'll share my lunch!" Satsuzame said, the large catfish squirming in his outstretched hand, desperately attempting to escape.

Watching attentively as Alkaid performed her jutsu, Itsuki saw no fault in it and nodded her head once in approval. At her question, Itsuki instantly responded in a casual tone. "You sure did. Good job, you're now offically a Genin, be sure to meet up with the actual Hokage sometime later today or tomorrow to recieve your headband. But for now, would you be interested in continuing with your training or just leave it at that?"

Having been standing idlely by while the other clones trained the remain students, Itsuki watched as Suki and Spitfire leave persumably to go and get something to eat. Upon hearing someone walk up to her, the clone turned around and saw a boy with shark-like features holding a large catfish speak in an excited tone. Giggling slightly at his last statement, Isuki spoke in a casual voice. "Hello there young shinobi. Um, suiton intrutor you say? Hm...I believe you best try the academy since sadly, I don't know any suiton techniques myself. Sorry, good luck though."

Smiling and shaking her head at Alkaid's enthusiasim, Itsuki found herself looking forward to teaching the young weapon master in front of her. As to what weapon style though, Itsuki still isn't sure if teaching Alkaid her personnal style would be the best choice at the moment. 'Afterall, it is specially reserved...' Nodding her head at Alkaid, Itsuki spoke in a voice that mirrored her student's excitment. "Sounds great but I believe it'll be best if we finish up learning the rest of the basic Katon jutsus before we start with weapons. By the way, what might be your weapon of choice Alkaid-san?"

But then the Hokage asked about Alkaid's weapon. Alkaid smiled devilishly and then flicked out two shortswords that she held reversed to what the typical swordsmanship style was. She held them like tonfa so the blades lined along her forearm. "My prized weapons are the Lit Honeysuckle. They are special blades that are made specifically for me."

Watching as Alkaid get disappointed only to light up again when she asked about her weapons, Itsuki could tell that Alkaid indeed was a dedicated weapon user. 'Shortswords eh? That might conflict abit with that style...' Smiling, Itsuki took the time to carefully examine Alkaid's weapons carefully. "They're lovely Alkaid-san, I can see why you treasure them so much. They look like they suit you well." Not wanting to displease Alkaid, Itsuki made sure to say something to insure Alkaid of her future training.
"Now that I know what your weapons are, I'll be sure find a style most suitable for you. It might take some time, but I'll be sure to fine something that will work best with your fighting style and personality." Pausing momentarily to let Akaid proccess her words, Itsuki decided to add just a tad bit more to hopefully convince Alkaid of her sincerity in teaching her a weapon style. "But in order for me to know your fighting style, I'll need to see where you stand in terms of ability first. Basic jutsus will only tell me so much. A spar would give me the most information so maybe I'll set you up with another genin later on for a friendly spar."

Weapon Master -
Profession Base Benefit - 1) Increased Number of Weapon Styles: Because of their focus and training in the use of weapons, weapon masters are able to practice more weapon styles than others. (see below)
Academy Student: 1 weapon style
Genin: 2 weapon styles, 1 Weapon or Taijutsu Style
Chuunin: 3 weapon styles, 1 Weapon or Taijutsu Style
Jounin: 4 weapon styles, 2 Weapon or Taijutsu Style
In addition Weapon Masters can learn one stage higher than normal for weapon styles(exceptions apply)
2.)Increased Number of Custom Weapons: Weapon Masters are allowed to have 4 custom weapons as opposed to just 3.
Learning Information - Weapon Masters receive a -1 post learning bonus when learning weapon style/techniques, but receive a +1 post penalty for learning taijutsu styles/techniques and a +2 post penalty for learning nin/genjutsus.

(The weapon master can only have 2 elements, starting with 1 at academy student and acquiring the second at jounin; if the character has a combination release Kekkai genkai they get their two primary elements and their combination element at academy student, but never get another element; demons that give their hosts access to elements can still learn the jutsus for that element, but only up to their current rank, unless they are willing to take it as 1 of their two primary elements)
Tactical Ninja -
These are the Shinobi most often to be picked as leaders of shinobi teams, able to come up with strategies and adapt to battlefield conditions quickly and efficiently. Being highly intelligent, learning jutsu comes quite easily to these shinobi, allowing them to acquire a vast array of jutsus for any situation.

Combo User -
The combo type is for ninja who use there jutsu in a chain to help deliver a devastating overall effect. Stringing multiple jutsu together, these ninja are dangerous, allowing them to overwhelm their opponents with the sheer number of jutsus they can perform.
(Can use 2 jutsu per post, at Jounin can use 3 jutsu per post)
