"'Do unto others as we do onto ourselves.' Is it not?" She asked. She smiled wryly at his comment. "I've learned that the hard way. With a tail between my legs, cowering away from my superiors."

"Did I ever tell you why I was kicked out of the force?" He said with a sly grin, his good mood returning to him. "It was becase I couldn't follow orders from my superiors. They wanted me to do some...things...I went into the private investigative business after that, and on the side checked out their contacts in the force...heh...eventually it led me to my current profession and this city. And to think, its all becase I couldn't tuck my tail between my legs and give a damn at what the guys in charge wanted me to do."

"At least you don't have creatures with claws and teeth who would rather eat you, then train you to be useful. I trained myself to be a Healer." She said with an undertone of satisfaction.

"I have creatures with claws and teeth who just want to eat me." He said with the grin remaining on his face. "No alternatives there it seems...maybe its that whole Karma thing...who knows?"

"Karma? Yeah, right. I nearly had you for dinner last night, and now, here I am, speaking with you. Karma is bull crap compared to the human mind." She said with a roll of her eyes.

"Well that's not downing karma too much." He said with a slight laugh. "Maybe even that's a compliment towards karma...but why dident you eat me anyway?"

"'Cause the only flesh I eat is steak, and even then, it better be cooked." She muttered, remembering the prank that was played on her in her junior year.

"I wish the first werewolves I meant had the same views..." He said, before chuckling softly to himself. "Its funny, I got claws up pretty damn bad, still got the scars to prove it, but I dident pick it up. Is it only a bite? Or was I just lucky as hell?"

"A bite, near the neck, close to the main artery that runs to the heart." She said, nearly immediately. "Scars? Usually scars by our kind heal quickly, no marks. Where are these scars at?" She asked quietly.

He placed his jacket onto a nearby bench before lifting up a simple loose white Tee. His chest was covered in a variety of claw marks. He turned, and so was his back. "Its not something I advertise..." He said simply. They were old, now silver, and each one cut deep groves into his skin. "Bloody ******** wonder I survived at all, eh? Its funny...it all started with guns and then...well...you can see."

She put a finger to her lip, and bit into it gently as she thought. She knew about bites and other marks. "Want them to be gone?" She asked, looking form the patchwork scars.

"And what would making them be gone include?" He asked, raising a slight brow "Or is this some sort of surprise, where I know the outcome and not the means?"

"I'm not sure you'd like the means. Not many people do." She said, rubbing her hands slightly. "It's a bit on the disgusting side."

He raised a brow slightly, and then replied rather simply. "Try me." after a few seconds he decided to elaborate. "Ive seen people ripped into shreds sand sprawled out over a room so that the floor was them...rotting...I doubt it can be that bad...go ahead."

"Blood. My blood." She said. "Our blood helps us heal. And we heal nearly always seamlessly." She watched his expression. She knew this was an odd thing. "If I was to allow some of my blood into your bloodstream, the scars would be gone."
