Frowning, Arielle took in this information. "Really? Does he do this often?" She disliked the idea of knowing and utilising dark magic almost to the point of despising it, but... well, she could almost make an exception for a history teacher with ancient dark magic, because if it was for education and it would not harm any of the students, then even Arielle could see the benefits of showing why such disgusting magic should not be used.

"Often enough," Ophiuchus replied amiably. "It's done." He had sealed the box, and picked it up. Despite all that was in there, it was neither large nor heavy. Arielle would be able to tuck it under her arm... if she weren't holding Lin.
"You know, maybe I should have offered to heal her enough so she could stand up on her own."

Arielle said nothing at first. Ophiuchus didn't seem to be bothered by how often the dark magic appeared--though she was quite aware that there were many who didn't mind--and, as he seemed of sound mind, she decided to trust that 'often enough' meant that it truly wasn't often at all--simply often enough to be recognized as the history teacher's work.
Then she thought for a moment. "Perhaps it would have been easier, but I can manage, I believe." Standing, she lifted Lin off the futon and let it disappear, wrapping one of Lin's arms around her neck and her own arm around the girl's waist. It most certainly was not ideal, but this way, she could hold both Lin and the box.

Kai sighed and looked towards Ialo raising an eyebrow towards him. "What's up Ialo? you look more worried then usual." it occurred to him Athena was a student not a warrior that was in battles like he was used to. "oh yeah not the plains ... hmmm this could be a problem."

"So Athena," Ialo said conversationally, stepping through the holographic display, in an attempt to change the topic of conversation. "What did you want to see me about?"
'Oh, really...' he thought to Kai. 'You don't think?' Hopefully Athena wouldn't notice the silent secondary conversation.

Ophiuchus watched with a bit of amusement. He stepped around the desk, then took Lin from Ariella's arm. "My sincerest apologies for being callous," he said smoothly. "Allow me to carry Lin for you to Bai Ching."

Arielle smiled gratefully at Ophiuchus. "Thank you very much," she said. "That would help greatly." She took the box as he took Lin, and then said, "Let's go." She teleported just a moment after saying that and smiling at Ophiuchus, going to the entrance.

Ophiuchus had no sooner heard Arielle speak then she teleported. He barely had enough time to track her down, but he was just two seconds behind her. "This is Bai Ching?" he asked curiously, cradling Lin gently.
((Off to Bai Ching Ophi goes!))

Athena rocked back and forth on her feet. She felt rather silly now, having come to find Ialo so that she could find out when they were leaving to get Danni. "Um, well, I was just wondering when we were gonna leave. So I can be ready." It sounded so silly when she said it out loud.

"... When I come back?" the Headmaster offered. He made a swishing motion at the screen behind him, and it disappeared. Not like Athena would understand the code anyways, or what was going on, but he wanted to take precautions.

She pouted. Like a little girl. "Awww, but then I have to wait! I can't really just go back to class right now. I left too long ago. Someone probably thinks I fell into the toilet by now." It hadn't ever happened at school, but at home, if anyone took too long in the bathroom, someone else would check to see if they'd fallen in.
It only ever happened with the little triplets that someone actually had fallen in, and that was disgusting. Most often, though, people in her family just fell asleep on the toilet. Reasoning was debatable.

Ialo chuckled. "Fell into the toilet? Sorry, but they probably do."
Just then, the giant flying squid roared as it rose from the lake, then plunged back down again. Little imps appeared and ran around screaming for impish mercy from the evil squid monster.
"Lord have mercy..." Ialo sighed, and made the sign of the Cross.

Athena would have replied, but the giant flying squid stole her attention. She stared at it, making a very weird face. "...what the hell is that...?" she asked, although she figured she should probably know. Hopefully Ialo wouldn't mind.
