No worries Zi. I think just letting all verified agents in at this point is the wisest course of action, ekse we face seeming elitist and we lose the interest of apllicants.
@Tso: PM me to join. I wont bothe ropening the thread if I cant get a minimum of five peoplel and there's no point in posting in a thread doomed to deletion and lockedness. Or, you know, you could just tell me right here that you wanna join...all that matters is that I find out. Hell, you could IM me through zOMG. the method doesnt matter. just the message.

Uh. Interesting story regarding a banjo!
Well, not so interesting. But still!

My brother once got a 5-string banjo from an old lady that lived next door to us, promising to pay her back for it. Well, she moved away and we lost touch, so free banjo!
My brother played it nonstop for about a week and then he let it collect dust in his closet. :/
So he came over yesterday to have a pseudo-thanksgiving dinner with us and a few friends and brought the banjo over. I expressed an interest in the banjo and he said he'd sell it to me for twenty bucks. I quickly ran to my mom and begged her for the two weeks' allowance she owed me(only 15 years old. No job yet. :/). I got it, ran to my brother, and now I have a new banjo!

So. Today his girlfriend drove me to the music store to buy some new strings for it, since brother never played it and the strings that were on there were all... tetanus-y. She was asking how they got a tuner to fit down there at the middle of the neck, so I simply pulled it out and showed it to her. The 5th string tuning peg is just a friction tuner, meaning that it has a 1:1 turning ratio with no gears. I put it back in, put a new string on it, and the tuner kept slipping! I pushed the peg into the neck really hard to get it to stay, but it just kept going slack.
So what I did was: I took some Mighty Putty, filled the hole, let it dry, and carved a recess for the peg to fit into. The peg still slipped, so I looked it up on the internet and found out all I had to do was tighten a screw. Figures. Oh well. I have a perfectly good, playable, banjo now.
And everybody ate delicious cake and lived happily ever after.
The End.

Please don't say TL;DR. D:

I loved that story Paul. Don't change a single word. Good luck learning to play the banjo!

I blame the schools. I think most agents are researching for their final exams instead of tracking the stars for Zurg.
