I'm Back! *stares at busted up minivan* Ouch... glad you're okay Joy.
SD was amazing. But my half-uncle and cousin are crazy. We went hiking through the woods, when there was snow everywhere. It was cold! But so much fun!
Now where is my lovely soulmate?

Ahhhhh! Car crash! What happened? *checks Joy for injuries* Phew... that was a close one.
anyway....
Hiya! De cub ist back! Colorado was awesome! As always. can't say my cousins are as crazy as your's Creek. But when my sibs and i were wearing coats the whole time (even in teh house) one of my cousins was in shorts the whole time adn the other spent a good amount of time shirtless. I don't know how they didn't freeze. When my bnro asked if they were cold, they just shrugged. Wierd, used to cold cousins.
Well, gonna post, but just for a sec, then I napping. i'm tired. We drove through the night. 12 hours in a car. Wel longer, we pulled over so me papi could rest. And we had to go slow cause of weather half the time. And then we made a detour. Anyhow, I'm wiped. I can't sleep in cars.

As we begin the New Year, we'd like to take a moment to reflect on what 2008 has brought to us.
The guild was formed in late 2008, as a collaboration between the founding crew members ChosenSavith and Starsong. It grew quickly and as of yesterday, the last day of 2008, we had thirteen approved characters already writing out their part in the story and one more waiting for his introduction in the wings. We've closed two plots, and have three currently up and running, with two more slotted to start soon. This really has been an exciting year!
With the exciting past year comes a look forward, into the new year of 2009 that looms ahead of us.
Let us work to include at least fourteen more new players into the fabric of our story by the time 2009 comes to a close, by recruiting and posting on our recruitment thread as authored by our very own BlazingRock! Direct new traffic and inquiries toward our Welcome Wagon, GentleMidnightDancer, or any of our other crew members.
Let's also work to submit and run at least six new Player Created Plots before 2009 ends. You can read how to submit your plot by going here.
Together, we can grow this guild, have more characters to interact with, and keep things fun and exciting!
In the spirit of continuing to grow, Crew is looking for a few good souls. If you're already Crew and feel you can add more to your plate, feel free to grab up anything that looks fun. If you're not Crew, this is a great time to give a helping hand.
- Recruitment: We'd like someone to take this on as more of a full-time basis. Take a look at our files, keep on the rest of Crew as to what is missing for players that don't know anything about Elfquest, keep posting on the Recruitment Thread, work hand in hand with the Welcome Wagon toward making new players feel welcome and helping them find their character.
- Thread Keeper: With so many threads going on, sometimes it's hard to keep up! We're looking for one person to cruise the forums in our guild, find any new postings, and link a list of what's active. This will help both the busy Crew and new players that don't know where to look for the action.
