I heard those are a bad way to go they're fragile and you're always sharp my band director says if anything a pocket trumpet is good for tuning a normal sized trumpet

Pocket trumpets are really more of an amusing sight than they are useful. Unless you're really short on space when packing.
I'd pack my trumpet on vacations, but considering most hotel rooms aren't soundproof, I think it'd end up as more of a problem.

I would get a pocket trumpet, and bring it to school just to purposely freak out my friends... that would be helarious, then i give it to my short trumpet playing friend, mike.

I loves my trumpets. Nice golden color. Name is Simon 2nd is Silver and got used by a freaking Junior High and made dents in it. On all the slides and the bell. Now I can't play it. It makes a squeaking sound crying I have to get it fixed... But my goal is to get a really nice one. Black with golden engraved/painted vines wrapped all around it. I found it on a website for 5k euros...=(

I need to clean my trumpet with a chemical strong enough to wash off years of usage...It belongs to the school...Mine got broken by an Jr. High...But yeah...Pretty gross. P.S: Anyone with Up is Down by Hans Zimmers. Please send it to me <3. I also have lots of good songs if anyone is interested. Phantom of the Opera is soooo good btw. And Slavic Scherzo.

Don't worry too much, it's normal, it just doesn't usually do it very often. There are actually a couple options in regards to that. One, you can figure out what's causing all the leaking. I'm guessing there's probably too much valve oil, or you're not emptying your spit valves often enough. Two, you can get a thing (forgot what it's called) that covers the bottom of the valves so they don't drip like that. I have one of those, but I don't really need to use it.
