Ialo looked down at Lin as she spoke. "Don't even try smiling, I know you're unhappy with me. Join the club. I just don't want you to get hurt."

Lin was quite surprised and looked up at her professor. "Sir... I am sure you know what is best. I would never wish to challenge that. If you think it is best that I not stay by Dym... Professor Valen's side..."
She sighed softly and tried to relax her smile. "then I will trust your judgment."

Ialo gazed at Lin for a few more moments before speaking again. "... I thought you hated him? You seemed to, twenty-four hours ago." He didn't feel the need to elaborate all the surveillance spells embedded into the very walls of the school.

Valrie nodded her head and watched her father leave. After that she went off to find something to put Ella's dust in. She found a jar and cleaned up the dust and put in the jar. Then, Valire took off to find herself a hiding place.
Jewlet sat at the edge of her bed brushing her hair. "What a pain." She kept her eyes shut as they felt like they would burn if air touched them. Looking down at a box, she kicked it under the bed. She put the brush down and rubbed her timples.
A brown cat appeared next to Ophiuchus and meowed. She looked up at him and smiled. She turned her head to the vampire and then to the old women.
The vampire looked at Ophiuchus and laughed. "Your son? That is sweet." She placed his hand on his head and bent forward a little. He waved for the old lady to move back. "I'm not giving up the future king easily."

Lin's eyes widened. "How... why do you think I do not like him? I only spoke to you to create my schedule. You have never seen me around Professor Valen."

The dragon shrugged. "I'm a professor, what makes you think I don't know these things?"

Lin scowled at him. She couldn't help it. "You spy on all of us..."

"That, that I do. I won't fight you on that one." Ialo leaned against the wall. He was not angry, but rather amused.

Lin shook her head. "I... I can't believe this. You spy on all of us. That is such an invasion of privacy, and you do not trust us. I believe that an important aspect of the relationship between professors and students is trust."

"Surveillance does not mean I don't trust you, Lin. As odd as it sounds, I'm fairly sure that you don't know enough enough to be a threat to me or my goals. I trust the students. It's a few of the teachers that have got me worried, and a lot of people outside the school. But hey." Ialo began to walk away. "What do I know?"

Lin quickly walked after him, curious. "Professors? Sir, if you do not mind me asking, what professors are you concerned about?"

"Hey I found her! I found her! The signature's weak, but Ive got a lock on her!" Shuusuke paused for a moment, somewhat startled.
"S'wrong homie?"
"Someone else has a lock on her as well..."
Aesop was running to the side of roof at this, but stopped and quickly doubled back. "s**t man, you didn't tell me where she is yet."

Ophiuchus glared at the vampire. "Well, you're going to have to. He's my son, under my guardianship, and most certainly not yours. And it will not pain me in the slightest to take him back by force."
Ialo just kept walking. "I can't tell you that, then you would now enough to threaten the security of the school." He didn't realize that he was playing the exact game his teachers had - withholding information from the students. In the end, that was what causes to many to die that year. "Now if you'll pardon me, there's a security threat running amok."

Lin sighed in frustration. "Fine... sir. I have classes to get to, anyway."
So, she stormed off past Ialo without sparing him even a backward glance and went to her first class that day.

As Ialo said that a white Eye fluttered infront of him. "Pardon master Ialo, would you like the sentry's assistance in this matter?" The eye looked around the area a second before looking back at Ialo. "There are one hundred silver sentry out tonight, and we would be pleased to assist you in any way possible."
