Keno fell seemingly from the ceiling onto the stage with a loud thud. His body had landed in a crouched position, but he had not destroyed the stage, or even dented it for that matter. He wondered to himself where Ichigo might be, but it wasn't very important. He looked about and found himself alone again. He strolled behind the bar and set a glass on the table, searching for a drink. After a few moments, he settled on an Apple Schnapps. He spun the top of with his thumb, almost indenting the bottle into the table to do so. After filling the glass halfway, he swirled the drink around in a bored manner. He wasn't all that thirsty, but he had poured the drink. What good was it coming here looking for entertainment when all the mice were hiding in their holes?

Crackling with static a portal tore into existence flaring into view. Stepping out of the crackling mass a woman with tresses the hue of emeralds stepped into view. With a intense expression on her face she stepped into the area staff in hand. Gazing about the area she sensed Keno's mana signature present. Leaning upon her staff she tilted her head sensing something off about the mana he was giving off. Instead of its usual calm flow it erradiated a high level of energy that usually exuded when one was angry.
"The seed of destruction seems to be running rampant...Seems you are one those afflicted."
Thinking back to Unks she thought back to the other day when it appeared he and Unks were fighting. His behavior had awry and she wasn't sure whether it was truly him. Pushing some hair from her face she studied the man before with her amethyst hued eyes.

"If you think I'm bad now," Keno paused to take a drink, dumping half the shnapps into his mouth, "you should have seen me earlier. I've only recently become articulate." He slammed his glass down for no apparent reason, being sure not to break it. He didn't want the scent of alcohol on his hands. "And I'm not afflicted, I'm just different. No longer restrained with so many morals and ideals. I'm free. If you dare argue that, you'll just be ignored as an annoyance and maybe a potential victim." His face twisted into another disturbing grin as he finished. His eyes flashed lightly as he averted his gaze back to his glass, from which he took another sip.

((Hey User))
Still leaning upon her staff she shook her head smiling.
"Hmmmph you dare to call yourself articulate when you deny others their bits of interjection. I have nothing to fear from one who has lost themself to their primal urges. The man I once knew was one of virtue and would not be swayed by such idle thoughts. I too deal with my dark side on a daily basis. It just appears I have come to terms with what ails me in this world."
Showing no fear she made her way over to bar stool settling atop it a seat over. Raising her hand before she summoned forth a bottle of Alazay and glass. Pouring herself a glass she took sip of the red liquid within.

"You've got a lot of nerve. Bolder than most. That deserves a toast." Keno had already poured another glass as he was speaking and downed the contents in one drink. "But not being afraid of me won't make you immune to death. But I also notice that you haven't argued against my claims of freedom either so..." he left the rest of that comment open ended. He poured another glass, finding himself in a very interesting position with this woman. "Get one thing straight...Keno has no dark side. I'm the same as always, just stronger. People's virtues...or vices as I suppose you may call them...change all the time. It's up to the rest of the world to adjust to them the same way those individuals have to adjust to the new world they have created. As far as what ails me." Keno released the glass and looked about. "I'm merely disgusted that no one within the Orion is truly trustworthy. That's all. I'm not really ailed with anything. But if I can't call anyone an ally, I can call them an enemy, a threat, or a neutral party. Either way, killing them is of no consequence to me."

Tipping her glass to her lips she shook her head recognizing why his aura erradiated wtih such malice. Sighing inwardly she smiled his way.
"There are worse things in life than death...I suppose you would know of such things better than others. Raleigh's death still weighs heavily upon your shoulders I would surmise. Lashing out as you are does not honor her memory."
Almost as if awaiting a response she drank a bit more from her glass savoring the strawberry flavored liquid.
"It is the world we exist in, not the world that exists around us. I suppose this is perception, but you can't blame others for inadequacies."
Draining her glass she set it down and began to pour herself another from the magnum.

Keno started laughing. At first to himself, he gradually let the threatening echo of his voice ring throughout the club. "I see. You think I'm doing this to avenge Raleigh? Or maybe to honor her memory? They have funerals for that, and if you don't mind my saying, I did a damn good job at holding one for her." Keno returned the schnapps, no longer in a drinking mood. "I'm killing for me," he said as he rose to lean against the bar table. "I've fought for you, my friends, because you were my friends. I fought you to become strong so that I could stand reliably at your side, defend you from death when your best wasn't good enough. I fought to make you stronger. But I suppose...." he paused in silence for a moment. He never did imply he wanted anyone to protect Raleigh. Maybe it was inevitable that she would feel so unwanted, unloved, and worthless. Perhaps had he explicitly mentioned it.... "No. No that doesn't matter."
