Ichi quickly trotted past him, pivoted on one foot and did a 180. She sat down just as quick as she turned around. She sat indian style, and she held her ankles together with her hands. She looked up at Keno, ready for her lesson.

"Relax. All you're going to do today is meditate and learn to control wind. Since it requires no ki, what I'm teaching you is a limitless supply of power so long as you can stay focused. Watch." With no physical signal, Keno summoned a wind from his body, his hair falling idle on his back. It started off gently, grazing against Ichigo's body softly. "You'll start off only being able to do this. Until you reach a higher level of synchronization with the wind, this is the best you can hope for so I suggest you train a lot. When you've gotten stronger, you'll be able to do this." With a flash of his eyes the wind shot up in speed and power, actually pushing Ichi back, threatening to toss her over.

Ichi smiled and closed her eyes as the soft wind flew against her. Wind would be nice to control. And it'd be great for those hot summer days and suddenly flipping up girls' skirts. Then the strong wind actually made Ichi fall onto her back and slide a few feet on the ring.
"Eeeek!"
She tried to grip the arena flor, but it was of course, flat. She was glad she only slid a few feet.

"The ability to summon wind has to dawn on you, like a revelation. Listen carefully and contemplate what I tell you." Keno then decided to speak to Ichigo telepathically, fearing there might be someone lurking about. The wind will not obey someone who is not compatible with it. To be compatible, one must allow themselves to accept the wind within themselves. Air is everywhere. Therefore, wind can come from anywhere, even from within yourself. Everybody has a natural wind current within their body. Air flow circulates within you that same as it does me. Once you find your pattern of flow, you must trace that path. Then study every aspect of the circulation within your body until you realize that you can form this circulation outside your body. When that dawns upon you, you'll feel a light breeze. "Did that make sense, or should I talk slower?"

Ichi closed her eyes as she listed to him talk within her mind. She actually understood it, and it seemed easier than using fists and weapons to fight. She nodded.
"I understand."

"Then start off by breathing. Close your eyes, sit still, and breathe regularly. First just listen to your heart beat, then focus on your own lungs. From there, do as I said. Take your own time with it. I'll wait for you." Keno lept up effortlessly, ascending into the rafters and taking a seat, meditating himself. His head bowed slightly as he ascended a few inches from the surface of the beam.

Ichi closed her eyes, listening to her heart. taking in a deep breath of air, she focused on the air flowing in and out of her lungs, how cold it felt while breathing it in, how every breath made her feel lighter and lighter. At first her heart was beating fast, and now it started to beat slower.

She's thinking too fast or too much. Oh well, we'll see what happens. Keno sat in patience, knowing that Ichi wasn't perhaps enjoying this simply because she wasn't the fighter type. Hoever, she should cath on to this skill in about a week or so. She might even surprise them. His mind went blank as he continued to wait on her. Where's Tali?

Ichi kept breathing, her eyes still closed. She wondered to herself if she was too tense, or too nervous. Her arms felt limp as they lay in her lap. The air. She could feel it moving somehow, but she couldn't find the path. Ichi still tried her eyes closing a little tighter. She bit her bottom lip, hoping it would help her concentrate.

Keno fell from the rafters and tapped Ichi roughly on the forehead. "You're thinking too hard and focusing on the wrong parts of your body. Open your eyes and look at me." Keno sat down and gazed at Ichi sternly. "I don't have time to be patient. You need to learn quickly, so pay attention."
