"Damn.....and I thought it was cold back home in winter....thinking of that seems like summer weather compared to this..."
Jade lifted a hand in front of her eyes slightly, blocking waht blowing snow she could from them as she looked around the moutains. How long had she been in these mountains already? A week, two? She couldn't remember anymore. Slowly, she lifted off of the ground again and flew through the blustering winds, trying to keep the sun to her right so she wouldn't be going in circles.
The girl was glad she had met up with that Angellus fellow a while back...if he hadn't given her money to buy supplies...she would have been a Saiya-jin popsicle days ago! At least now she had good clothing on to keep her mostly warm, plus a decently large pack still of food, radically reduced from how it had started out. She was still a Saiya-jin after all...
But the hope that Angel had brought ot her about finding Deity was soon lost again after spending a few days out here in hte mountains. THey were huge, as far as the eye could see, and for all Jade knew, she could be on the opposite side of where Deity was....It was a little disheartening...
The weather was starting to take a turn for the worst again, the winds and snow becoming much more perilous. It was getting harder to see, and colder by the minute. Time to get into a sheltered area.... Jade looked around, spotting a seemingly large cave in the distance. Seemed like a good place to set up for the night. Within minutes Jade was in the mouth of hte cave, walking slowly inside it. It was much larger than she thought, the opening at least a good thirty feet above her head, if not more.
She kept walking further, until the mouth of the cave seemed like a small beacon in the dark distance, the wintery weather blowing around like crazy out there. Jade pulled the hood off of her head and the pack of foor from her shoulders, walking over to a spot at the wall and sitting down with her back against it.
"Best get ready to settle in for the night...I just hope that entrance won't get snowed in...."

GRRMMMMMR....
::The ominous rumbling causes the walls of the huge cave to vibrate, the noise much greater than the vibration. It would seem like a continuous rumble of a four-story stereo woofer booming out some heavy-duty bass. It completely drowns out the ongoing howl of the fierce wind outside, until it finally quiets down. Something roughly eighteen feet from Jade's position is moving, crushing the small rocks and pebbles around it and pushing them away. Something big.
In the dimly lit cave, the weak light from the cave opening catches the phosphorescent golden eyes of some huge creature, similar to how a cats eyes reflect a strange color even in darkness. The heavy thudding of giant limbs hitting the ground are heard as these dazzling eyes blink a few times, now obviously looking at the Saiya-jin girl. In a booming but calm voice - sounding like that of a middle-aged Englishman - this creature speaks to her.::
Ahem...sorreh'bout that. I didn't 'ear you come 'n.

Jade's eyes went wide at the sudden rumbling all around her, jumping up and getting ready to strike at what ever it was. It wasn't too hard to find the source of the rucus. Her eyes went even wider when the glowing eyes locked onto her, resisting natural instinct attack.
When the voice spoke to her, however, the urge to attack or defend decreased as curiosity rose. She let a very weak ball of form in her hand, just enough to lit up the general area to see what was speaking to her...
"Umm...I'm sorry...I didn't know...you...were here...?"

::The giant's eyes squint slightly at the building light of the energy sphere, but he soon adjusts, and opens them wider. What lies down before Jade is what appears to be a huge dragon, with silver and brown scales covering the surface of his body. Age-old scars are found every where. Long frills extend from his brows and many other parts of his body, including along his spine. His head is about seven feet from the bottom of his jaw to the top of his head, and his massive horns are about twelve feet each. His snout is about as long as his skull is tall.
The skin of his neck is tough but loose like an iguanas; a little wrinkled. His arms are huge and muscular, but curled up tightly around his chest, his left against the cave wall opposite Jade's. His hands - or paws, perhaps - are even bigger than Jade is, with three main clawed fingers at the front, and a 'thumb' at the inside of his wrist. Due to the cramped size of the cave and lack of light, Jade shouldn't be able to see and further down, except the huge shadowly hump of his arching back.
Blinking a few more moments at the strange girl, he opens his fang-filled mouth, his snakelike tongue staying still as he speaks just as clearly as anyone else could.::
Ah, don' worreh'bout that, little miss. I don' mind if ye stay. S'a cold night comin'.

Jade's eyes looked over the large creature like a child would look on in amazement at a giant free candy shop. It was just something her eyes had to soak in for a moment to make sure it was actually there. Her gaze moves over his brown and silver scales, across scars and along his spine back up to his large head, from horns to snout.
She had heard tales about Dragons, but never thought she'd see one like this, and be having a conversation with it. But an even bigger plus was the fact she wasn't about to be eaten either...or so she hoped.....
She lowered the energy ball so it wasn't directly in the dragon's eyes, gulping a little when she spotted the rows upon rows of teeth in his mouth when he spoke.
"Y-yes....I believe it will be...not a very good night to be out flying...."

Aye, I concur. I would ask what a pretty young lass's doing out here all by'er self, but you seem tired. Get some sleep, remind me t'ask ye'gain, aye?
::The scaley lips of this monstrous dragon tightly curl up in a warm smile, at least as warm as it can be with him being a giant dragon. More loud rustling can be heard deeper within the cave, along with heavy thuds hitting the roof of the cave. He shifts his left arm from the wall and presses the pad of his paw against the cave floor, before dropping his neck and resting his head over the back of his hand. The draconic being closes his eyes as he does this, but opens his right orb again after a second or two, which looks directly at Jade again.::
I'm not hungreh'f you're worried. Too small 'nyway.
::A booming chuckle reverberates from within the dragon's chest at his little joke, hoping to reassure her. He doesn't mean to eat her. If he did, he would have. Besides, she's a mysterious little girl, as humanoids rarely move around these parts, especially with dragons around. He'd ask her about that later. Tilting his huge head sideways towards the Saiya-jin, the dragon's horns waving through the air some twenty feet up, he lowers his smile and closes his brilliant eye once again, letting out a heavy sigh that one could mistake for a warm wind. He'd be asleep in a few minutes.::

Jade let out a slow, soft sigh of relief....glad that she wasn't meant to be an appetizer or anything. After all, this was her first time meeting a dragon...She smiled back at the large dragon as he settled down to sleep, lifting her hand and covering her mouth herself. It'd been a while since she had gotten a decent sleep, since she had entered the mountains. Her body was always on guard, and she woke up at the slightest things, even if it were nothing.
But perhaps by sharing a cave with a dragon, she could sleep a bit better. Afterall, she didn't think anyone would want to come after this guy...
Jade simply nodded at the dragon before returning where she had been sitting before, settling down against the wall. The glowing orb she held faded out slowly, leaving the cave in darkness once again as she laid herself down to rest.
((Yea, that sucked real bad. My inspiration died completely...plus I'm getting sick so it's twice as bad....so I'm out...later all!!))
