But even for about 200k, you can a buy a good house right? Over here for that amount, you'd be lucky to buy a one bedroom apartment. gonk

@RC: The area around here is all farm so it was actually average. Cost of living is low, so average pay is usually minimum wage.

Alrighty, I think everything on my end is squared away for school. My checklist is..almost finished. The financial aid has hit a bit of a snag because my parents can't seem to get a hold of their accountant. Boo.
Also the store didn't have my prescriptions, but my mom can deal with that. I have enough to last me until then.
Now all -I- have to do is get there. I will be sitting in the car for about six hours tomorrow. uugghh.

Remember to eat before you move in. I made that mistake freshman year and almost passed out while unpacking the car.

Right now I am at home, and from here I am going straight to my dorm.
My folks and I will likely go through a drive thru(ugh,) and I'll try to grab something after the move-in. I have marching practice starting tomorrow, I'll need all the energy I can get.

@abbi: don't drink too much water before you start the trip. i always have to pee at the most inconvenient times
@orphie: that house looks like it should cost that much. although i like stuff that looks less modern though

Oh man, I know. Being stuck with a full bladder bites. I actually had the opposite problem today. We were out running errands, and I was hella thirsty (plus it was ninety degrees out.) The glass of water I had after I got home was probably the best I'd had in a long time.
Booty grab is so freaking fast on this thing, it's awesome.

RC: Oh yes, that house is fully renovated and very modern. Although even the ones that aren't so modern are around that price.
Abbi: Water is good for you, drink it more often.. 3nodding Take a bucket with you, just in case of those unwanted emergencies.
