Stuff is slowly selling so I'm happy.
I started making the quilt in 07, put it in a box, forgot about it, and found it this week when I was looking for a dress I wanted to finish. I'm probably gonna finish it and try and sell it.

@sam: what kind of stuff are you selling on ebay?

That's good Sam, at least it's selling. So that would give you some extra cash, when you need it.
Oh wow, from 07? Hopefully if you do sell that too, you'd get something good for it.

@Orphy: What I make from it is going into a savings account for a down payment on the house I want. The quilt I don't really care if I make that much from, I didn't pay that much for the material since it was on clearance. @RC: Kinda this and that. Mostly anime stuff and I just sold a cosplay top I made a few years ago for someone that they never paid for, and I've got lolita stuff I've made up. Kinda this stuff.

Sam: I hope you make enough for that payment. And get that house that you want. I'm still in shock as the prices of houses over there, and how cheap they are. biggrin

@Orphy: Well you gotta take into account how much the average pay is around here.
I make around $1000 a month, before bills. The mortgage would be about that a month if not $1200 for the house I want. I need 10-20% down for a down payment, and the house is worth $140,000. I just gotta get better at saving.
@RC: My dream job is actually to be able to work at home and make lolita and cosplay stuffs. At some point I wanna own my own business. I've actually sold lolita dresses for over $80 back when I was doing it all the time.

RC: An average house with two bedroom, is about 500k to buy here. So 3 bedrooms, are more expensive. Probably around 600k-1 million.
And also depends on how big the block of the house is, and also locations, because that would be more expensive. But finding a good home, is over 600k to buy here.
Sam: Wow, only that much per month? No wonder the houses are cheap over there. I get about $3500 per month, sometimes more, depending on what I've done. but I spend like crazy and also pay bills and grocery, so it all goes, by pay day. I should learn to save more.

@sam: at least ebay is providing a similar outlet to what you had before. the thing is, with the economy, you have to take whatever you can get. but hopefully, we've reached the bottom and it can only look up from here.
@orphie: oh, that's similar in price to where my parents live. the area that i work in right now is nowhere near that much though. our house was around 200k

RC: I'd love the houses to be the same price as over there. By now, with the wage that I make, I could have purchased a few of them. Maybe one day when I visit there, I might look around and buy myself a property, kind of like a holiday house, to stay in when I visit again. The area that I live in, is the most expensive to buy property in, because it's all about location. And living close to the beach. 3nodding

@RC: I was starting to make good money before everything started tanking.
I think my parents house was like $68,000 when they bought it, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, 12.6 acres, various out buildings.
