Zephyrkitty Maybe the English names aren't so bad after all! xd Remember that badge of epic win I drew for you?
It just shone just now, because you've done it again.

o 3o It's like, the only good thing from /vp/. The thread had started within hours of the names being released. Revolver Oshawott. lolo I still like Oshawott for being Oshawott though.

"Oshawott" is an awesome name, definitely the best out of the bunch.
"Tepig" is meh.
"Snivy?" Okay, whatever...not exactly a name I would've picked for it, though.
I also kind of like "Unova." Has a nice ring to it.

Also, they named Isshu, Unova to keep the meaning. Isshu means like, togetherness or something similar, and unova is supposed to be similar in meaning. Un like, united.
in theory. Isshu isn't the same, nor is Unova, for other localizations.

I prefer to call the pig "Hamlit" or "Crispy Bacon."
I'm still going to call Tsutarja "Smugleaf."
As for Mijumaru, I actually really like his english name. I'm keeping that one.

I think I've mentioned my love of children's books before. I'll probably be calling the pig 'Wilbur'. xd
I'll probably stick with 'Smugleaf' and 'Derpderp' for the other two. MGS or not, I can't make myself like 'Oshawott'.

I don't really have a penchant for nicknaming my Mons compared to most others, so I'll keep my Snivy named the way it is.

You know, one must wonder if a Dream World Seaking (which has the ability Lightningrod) will be of any clear use in a battle, aside from being a patsy in a double/triple battle.

Doesn't Lightningrod draw in and nullify all electric attacks, or did they change the nullify part? It's always been "Draw in Elec attacks"
The nullify only comes from the fact that Lightningrod is mostly known from Rhyhorn's family and their /Ground half.

The nullify only comes from the fact that Lightningrod is mostly known from Rhyhorn's family and their /Ground half. I'm pretty sure in the third gen that the electric attack was nullified. Granted, it was on a /Ground type, but I don't remember getting an 'it doesn't affect' message or anything.
