You know you're a band nerd when you tap out the ABC percussion warmup with the end of your pencil in class.(or any cadence for that matter)
You know you're a band nerd if you can reconize some one else playing the cadence with their pencil.
You know you're a band nerd when the only thing you leave the house for is band and a trip to Wal-Mart (Region band, 11:00 PM, oh yeah! it rocked)
You know you're a band nerd when you blow out your lips on a regular basis.
You know you're a band nerd when band is the only extra-curricular activity you have.
You know you're a band nerd when you complain about teh band hall not being open during lunch.

You know you're a band geek when you buy a keychain that says 'I'm with the Band' and proudly display it on your backpack as you walk down the halls.

You know you're a band geek when you don't want to go somewhere you frequently use "band practice" as an excuse.
-You are known for using this excuse.
-You think band comics are hilariously funny.
-That one episode of Spongebob--"Band Geeks"--either really pisses you off, or makes you very, very happy. xd
-Band parodies come second nature.
-Every time you hear a song on the radio, you get the irrisistable urge to count it's time signature from what you've learned by watching the drum major.
-You hate changing lightbulbs (or talking about them, or even bringing up their subject), especially in the band hall, for fear of some crack about your section.

You know you're a band geek when you start matching your feet to otherpeople . Like stepping with your left foot when they do...etc.
You know you're a band geek when you count like this. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-1-2...etc.
