Since a lot of people seem to like doing the 'You know you're a band geek when...' scenarios because they're constantly being posted in the topic for band jokes, which they shouldn't be, I've decided to make a topic for it. So, if you have a sign of bandgeekism, post it here. Please try not to repeat something that someone else has already said. biggrin

1. You know you're a band geek when you start collecting all of your friends' used reeds and telling them to sign them.

You know you're a band nerd when you start to sing past shows and your friends join in.
My friends did that once, they were walking down the hall way and one asked how this part in one song goes, and they got to it and on the next downbeat they all busted into last year's show..

3. You know you're a band geek when you use lyres in place of hair clips.
My friend Stacy did this. She had a couple of broken lyres and was messin' around with them and eventually stuck one in her hair just for the hell of it, then she started to wear them every now and then as a hair accessory. xd

i know they are called shakos, but we call em covers, but neway,
you know your a band nerd when you forget the answer to what you did yesterday in history, but know every song your band played from the past 5 years.

I like that one, but I don't do poorly in band. whee You know you're a band geek when half if not more of your school day is spent in the bandhall and that's no including before school and after school starts.
