She laughed softly, wiping her cheeks quickly for any traitor tears that may have lingered there. "When you change, I'll be there, don't worry." She said.

She smiled slightly, before walking quietly into the darkness leading to the staircase that led upward.

Deon stopped, staring upwards at the spiraling staircase. "Err...did I tell you that Im afraid of heights, worse then nasty besties that hide in the dark?"

Very slowly he started to climb the stairs, holding the railing in a death grip. "Ya ya ya ya ya...but I haven't even had it over an hour, it couldn't have changed me that much that fast."

She laughed again, an odd sound in the darkness. She looked back at him calmly. "I'll catch you." She said simply, walking up the stairs.

"Ooooh okay...hehe ya know if that came from anyone else it wouldn't make me feel any better, but from ya...well okay." His grip loosened slightly and Deon continued up the stairs.

She smiled as they reached the landing. She walked over to the railing and looked outward. "Wow!" She exclaimed. This sight of New York was extravagant.

Deon emerged onto the landing behind her and stared out at the city, cascaded in lights with a sense of awe. "Woah..." He muttered, walking over and looking out upon it all. "Great idea..."

The wind was brisk, but wonderful. She breathed in deeply, and sighed. "This is amazing. And for my first time up here, awesome!"
