With her departure he smirked gazing back toward the aura given off by the feverish man a short distance away. Shrugging he decided to comply with her request. Replacing his trenchcoat he continued through the forest making note of the mans fevered sleep. Raising his hands over head he began to chant in his regular gutteral tone, a pale white glow forming over his hand and over the unconcious man.

This man seems to have excellent reconstructive faculties. This should just speed up the process.

Nodding to no one in particular he bowed and sifted into the shadows departing from the area.

Upon awakening, Bukotsu's eyes shot open like lightning. Sitting up slowly he looked as to where he was. Not being able to figure out where he was, he had found his weaponry back on the beach. Placing the chi shirt back on, it seemed that he regained his strength, not to mention the abilities of the dragon-cloth regained it's armor like potentcy. Placing his ankle weights, wrist weights and bands back. Strapping Bishimonten and Rakan back on onto the sash along with the seven serpent gloves.

"That was rather odd, are there other people on this island?" Bukotsu spoke as he headed back to the place in which he awoke earlier. Picking up the shirt his head was resting on, he put it away his his small side pack.

Taking a few steps, he would head towards the sound of the river, to clean himself off and possibly bathe.

::Sitting in one of the shaded trees Kuja laid his blood red eyes closed. His body began to lean to the side causing his eyes to open and catch himself before he fell from the branch. Rubbing his eyes slightly he looked up and grunted slightly. Turning to his side so his legs were hanging from the branch he jumped off.

Landing in the sand below his boots made imprints as he stretched and yawned. His long brown monkey tail also stretching. He looked around not sensing the energy of the Island's owner Red, or the Saiya-Jin User. The thought of User gave him a stale taste in his mouth as he began to walk through the forest::

"To think I am going to have too listen to a Saiya-Jin. If he wasn't here before I was it would be a different story."

It was quiet. If anyone was on the actual island, they were quite a ways off or resting. To any even she was all too aware of how large this place was for so few people. But then again, it did allow for her necessary privacy, so she wasn't one to complain. The boy from a few days back was gone, awakened and well she assumed. She had wished to be around when he came to, but being gone a couple of days made that highly unlikely anyway.

It appeared there was a steadily growing number of people she needed to acquaint herself with. At least that number didn't seem to rise any, or at least she thought not. There were no more brand new aura's within her range of feeling so she only naturally assumed.

Atop a tree close to the northern mountain, she let the distant sound of the waters crashing against the stone pillars below serenade her as she awaited something interesting to happen. Currently, there were four droplets of water hovering before her face. They were swirling about each other like the electrons of an atom. She was merely toying around, but this was an extent of her training. Whenever it got back to her that is.

::As he continued his walk in the forest he felt the energy level of the island's owner Red. He had a short meeting with her the other day but it wasn't a good enough one for his liking. He moved deeper into the forest torwards her aura.

After a few moments of walking he saw the tree she was standing in and looked up at her. he lifted his right hand and the water infront of her face began ice a soft smirk on his face::

"You seem quite bored Miss Red."
PostPosted: Fri Jul 28, 2006 6:09 pm

Her eyes hollowed out at his intrusion. The ice immediately melted back into water and continued its spiraling as it was, though she no longer had any focus on it. Her eyes were turned fiercely on him, their lustre returned and their attentiveness sharp as a razor.

"Unless we are fighting, kindly do not flaunt your powers by toying with me." Her voice wasn't cold or even irritated, though she was slightly. She wasn't one for showing off, even to get someone's attention. Nonetheless, this man dropped out of the sky and among his talents, getting a feel for people didn't seem one of them, something they had in common.

"I don't get bored, I just fail to continue being interested in things. Moving on to lighter topics of conversation...how do you like this island?"

"I am sorry to have intruded on you. I ment no harm in anything."

::He looked up at her and jumped up into the tree landing on the branch next too her's. He let his tail wrap around the branch as his hands rested on the brance. He heard her question and looked at her before looking into the sky::

"Your island is very peaceful, it reminds me of my home planet of Terra, and the Planet Namek."

"Reminescene is nice, so long as you stay grounded to reality. For whatever reason you're no longer in either of those places. You are here, same as I am." She sat in silence for a moment, a bit unnerved for one reason or another, as she felt an inkling of something all of a sudden.

"If you'll excuse me," as luck would have it, she didn't have as much time as she thought. how could she forget such a thing. She rose to her feet and flew along the branches like a dove into the thick woods and eventually probably just vanished altogether, as was her nature from time to time, though it was nothing more than tactical stealth she had picked up over the years. Something she found most handy.

The tides rolled in marking high tide. A fine spray of mist from the sea rose to douse the land as if to further mark the occasion. Overhead the calls of sea gulls could be heard accompaniong the crashing waters. Despite the steady activity and air calmness arose from the scene.

Breaking the serenity of the moment, the heavy crackle of static churned over the waters. Spiraling into existence a swirling blue vortex of energy hissed into view. Stepping into view, the robed visage of a woman could be seen. Collapsing behind itself the portal vanished in a wave of sparks after depositing its passenger on the scene. Standing waist deep in the sparkling waters the green haired mage wrinkled her nose making note of her surroundings.

Dammit I seemed to have screwed up the coordinates, Well at least I didn't deposit myself out in the middle of the ocean again. I assume this is the island she spoke of in her letter. How one obtains an uncharted island is beyond me.

Chanting to herself an wave of energy expanded off her aura her mana signature vanishing from sensory perception. Finishing her prepartions she summoned forth her staff and slowy made her way inward towards land. Following the incident in Little Fawn she decided a vacation away from the Orion and her guild was in need. Remembering Red's invitation to the island now appeared to be as good a time as any to see what she was up to.

It had been a few days - maybe a few weeks - since Red had shown her face. It wasn't a complete loss though. She had been training as vigilantly as ever and had even had a bit of a revelation in the process. She still maintained a strictly business composure as she walked knowledgeably yet aimlessly through the woods. She was very satisfied with the progress she had made and was even starting to get a few ideas here and there.

The silence was eerie. To think there should be a few people scattered about was preposterous. They were the quietest, most antisocial bunch she could have assembled. The irony was not beyond her. So everyone preferred their own company. Should have went without saying. Yet at the same time she wondered if her potential allies might have lost their zeal for battle. This place was perhaps too welcoming as a resort than a training grounds. Warm weather, beautiful beaches, and of course great sunlight. She had half a mind to stroll down the coast in search of someone, anyone.

She seemed only a bit more lively these days, only her occasionally swishing tail being any real indicator of her static moods of bad and worse. It remained idle more or less these days, save for her exericising and training hours, which were growing to take more and more of her time. She sighed as she decided to stop in a rather cluttered area of woods. Sitting on the ground was hardly an option she realized and hopped immediately to catch a low branch and work her way under a decent shade courtesy of the dense leaves. She considered taking another nap while the day went on without her.

Perched on a small upcropping of stone overlooking the ocean the lone mage sat reading a leather bound tome. The fine mists of the crashing waves cast a light haze about the area. It had been a considerable amount of time since she had met anyone, but she had not made much of an effort to leave the beach other than to forage for food amongst the forest. She suspected that the lack of interaction stemmed from her use of her cloaking technique.

Blinking she the small tome down beside her.

"Quiet..."

Stretching overhead she smiled and dropped her mana dispersion field once again restoring her presence to the world.

I suppose that was vacation time...but no hurry to get back.

Reclaiming her book she sighed looking over the churning waters before.

The serenity of the island under the setting sun was disturbed by Red's rapid retreat to the north. She seemed to be in a bit of a panicked rush, and wasn't taking the straight path to her destination. The trees around her provided uncertain protection, but only if her timing was precise.

She seemed to have no pursuer, but there was the phenomena of tree limbs shattering and splintering behind her. One might have assumed she was a bit too heavy, had any of the branches broken under her weight, but that was not the case.

She stopped short once she neared the northern outlook. There was a new, yet familiar presence there. An aura she found agreeable and feminine. She hadn't quite expected any females to be on this island at this point. When she discovered it was Epithany, she was almost tempted to go and speak with her, but remained hesitant. As five droplets of water assembled near her head, it became evident by the tiny splinters within that they were her assailants.

She stood silently as her ears carefully detected all sounds as far as the rocky shore. Still she did not move. She was confused as to why she hadn't felt anything any sooner when the Epithany seemed to be comfortably situated in her place, hardly budging. Did she want to be bothered? Red herself would likely bang heads and ask questions afterwards. Though she was sure Epithany wouldn't return such a hostility, the fact that she might be an unwanted visitor was still on her mind.

Deciding to get comfortable, the drops of water disperssed into vapor, an insignificant increase to the humidity.

Sensing flickers of energy throughout the forest and surrounding portions of the island she made note of the number of people milling about. Figuring everyone had their own agenda she had made no attempt to more actively make her presence known.

At first the solitude was gratifying, but at this point, the lack of interaction was starting to play on her nerves. Lingering questions danced about in her head as she tried to decipher what reason that the occupants of the island had for avoiding one another. Dropping from her self proclaimed base of operations on the beach she made her way towards the heart of the island.

Truthfully the center of the island probably held no mysteries nor would there be much more activity. But moving about, at least culled the monotony.

Lets see if theres anything of interest in this area. The mana signatures are few but perhaps theres something else here

:;Walking in the forest Kuja senses the energy of someone he knew to be familiar but didn't quite recgonize it, wanting to see who it belonged to he slowly lifted himself into the air and flew torwards the energy.

After a few moments of flying he catches site of Epithany. He has met the mage only once, and highly doubted she remembered who he was. He landed softly on the ground infront of her and smiled softly::

"It is good to see you again Miss Epithany. I am sure you don't remember so let me reintroduce myself. My name is Kuja Tribal."

Epithany was on the move. She was deep enough into the forst to avoid being approached if she wished it, but that wasn't quite her concern. That male mage had returned, this time wishing to accompany her senpai it seemed. She had no reserves against that, and she remained as idle as ever as she debated whether or not to approach the group. She had gotten so used to being alone at this point with little to bother her that it was nearly too foreign a concept to actually be social with anyone.

A light sigh as she turned to face her right, and slowly to the left. She had much to learn indeed, but the factors involved indicated she'd make much better progress if she had a foundation to work on. Building one herself would take much longer and though the wait was perhaps as long as solitary tutelage would be, she chose to wait and improve on an already well learned technique. If she was lucky she could expand on her capabilities with it, like learning to run after mastering the ability to walk.

She stole away as quietly as one could in dense forest, deciding maybe to make better use of her time near the heart of the island. User had shut himself off in his home, the man she found on the beach had taken to the west, and Kendo seemed to be no where she could yet account for. In due time, all things would unravel.
