Eternal Sailor VarunaWith Lysithea, Malus, and Adria, trying to decide what to do now. Varuna wasn’t even sure if Lysithea heard her. There was too much going on. Too much yelling, too many people throwing magic -- the Negaverse attacking each other? Others were surrounding Faustite, who seemed to be the one in the least amount of danger at the moment.
She would have appreciated if those helping Faustite would focus a little more of their efforts on the group of them that would be doing the purification, but her irritation at the situation was quickly pushed aside when a Corrupted Senshi (Albite) busted through and attacked Lysithea --
Any chance they had at trying to salvage what time they had left was ruined by that Corrupt. Ruined when he decided to attack Lysithea. It took every ounce of her willpower not to throw magic right back at him. To drown him in snow. To watch him suffocate and die--
Malus had already tried reaching for the wand as she reached for Lysithea, but there was nothing they could do. Faustite vanished before they had a chance to do anything else.
There wasn’t time to remind Lysithea that they could still save him. To try and gently calm her by telling her she was being dramatic -- she and Adria helped save Malus before, hadn’t they? If Faustite turned into a youma, they would just have to wait for an opportunity later.
But Lysithea had her crystal, was using it to summon a stampede --
And collapsed.
The rest of the Negaverse seemed to be disbursing. Adria wa suggesting they go to a hospital--
“Hospital could be dangerous. Negaverse knows she likely has a broken arm--” Varuna said in a low voice to Adria and Malus.
She paused. She knew she was likely overstepping because why would they trust her help when she wasn’t even a real doctor. She opened her mouth to offer taking Lysithea to her clinic, but hesitated. Fixing a broken leg of an animal wasn’t the same as the arm of a human. Would they accuse her of treating Lysithea like an animal if she suggested it…?
She nodded when Malus asked if she was okay, and quickly looked him over to make sure he was okay. Adria too. She heard someone speaking to them, but they'd already turned their attention to others, so she focused hers on what was in front of her.

Mont Saint Michel, Knight of Saturn
Action: Picking up Lysithea and preparing to exit Oh. Oh, the mouth on that Agent, Michel just wanted to punch it. The ugly little youma, too. The audacity. He wished he could just be mad at them, but he had other things to worry about. He turned quickly to see the Court–Lysithea was unconscious on the ground. Adria and Malus looked like they were trying to wake her up, but–
He stomped over.
“Move, let me get her. She’s out. I’ll carry her.”
There wasn’t much good talking to her while she was unconscious, and her arm looked mangled enough that it was for the best that she wasn’t awake for it.
And yet, he still held his breath as he hooked his arms beneath her because he didn’t want her to wake up in pain and see his face.
Varuna’s voice had been soft; he heard something about a hospital just before he’d arrived and though it took a few seconds to process, it registered that she must have been concerned about the Negaverse tracking Lysithea down because of her injuries.
Good, she was smart.
He looked at the Court. “I’ve got a place we can go. They’ll take care of her. Just stay with me.” He might have had his summon but he wasn’t holding the bone right now, and he couldn’t wield his weapon.
He didn’t want to admit that he needed help, but if he was moving her, he was pretty defenseless right now–and she couldn’t defend herself, either.
He’d had their back earlier; now he needed them to have his.

Transcended Eternal IdaIda heard other talking and turned to watch as they began to pick Lysithea up, talking about removing her from the situation and getting her help for her arm. Kerberos saw it and acted before she could, activating his magic and filling the area with healing energy. She nodded soberly at him when he spoke, glad for what he could do, even if it was small.
The blonde woman had a good point… Lysithea’s broken arm had been a very public occurrence. Checking into an emergency room would leave her vulnerable if there was anyone there part of the Negaverse and looking for wounded. The knight who picked her up seemed to know a good place, and it made Ida hesitate to offer anything… they seemed such bonded group, it felt intrusive. But what had she trained for, but things like this?
“I have medical knowledge, if you’d like help.” She offered, part of her attention on the emptying battlefield in case anyone took it into their heads to try something. “I also have some amount of healing magic. I can get her arm set and on the way to healing, if you’d prefer not to involve any hospitals.”
Dark eyes flicked from the park to the group, glancing from the knight to the blonde, to the other two who’d been with Lysithea.

Eternal Sailor CybeleFeeling vindicated about the Faustite situation, talking to GanyJet slipped the net. Of course he did. Teleportation made all the officers too slippery by half. At least he seemed to be in a sufficient amount of pain as he vanished. She could take some small amount of comfort in that. Even better was the fact that Faustite had finally been consumed by his internal fire. Served him right, for trying to set up an ambush like this. Served him right for all the rest. Cybele's feet ached, even now. Ganymede had found her wings, which had spared them both an unfortunate tumble. Cybele returned her sister's hug, although she couldn't help the hint of a growl that rumbled in her throat as she looked towards the patch of grass where the General-King had been. Then, that grown turned into her own bitter laugh. "Don't let this be what breaks your faith, Ganymede," she said, and even though her voice was softer, the way it often was around her family, that was laced with bitterness, too. "Faustite got what he deserved." She'd not been here to save him. She'd been here as a favor, to make sure that none of her allies died, and that had turned out just fine. "That being said, you know I'll support you if you retire, just as you know I'm not ready to give up on the Earth." As flawed as the Earth was. This was proof of that. She didn't think anyone was going home from this happy. "But, I don't know that that's something to talk about on the battlefield. Can I come home with you?" She'd seen that Sess and Alastor were around as well, and although she'd come here with Viatrix and Encke's husband, it seemed more fitting to go process this with her own family.

Knight NectarisBeing salty at Albite, checking on EnckeAnd, as usual, Albite got the Ruining Everything Award. Everyone else had been doing okay. Not great, it was tense, and awful, and felt like a shoe was going to drop, but they'd been moving towards the court, who was working on their power, and then- Yeah.He was doing his Albite thing and taking all of his anger and blame, separating it from any logical path it could have taken that might have put that blame on anyone he cared about, like, she didn't know, Faustite, who had been trying to turn this into some kind of ambush thing, or Heliodor, the one who seemed to have started the actual fight by stepping out of line. Nah, he was mad at the closest convenient target, and that was Lysithea, and he was so mad that he was trying to rip her arm out of her socket, and that was that. She was the one who could purify Faustite, but Albite would rather be mad than have an alive husband, she guessed. Nectaris was so glad that she'd broken up with him. Faustite's body started morphing in a way that made Nikki throw up in her mouth in the moments before he vanished. It hit the crowd like a bomb had gone off. Everyone was shrieking, crying, staring off into the distance, leaving. The court was gathered around Lysithea. "Well, that happened," Fulgurite in the distance got a quick glance, but he seemed fine, so she turned her attention to Encke. Jet was being rude to him about Pendour, which she knew was a low blow. His hands were burned, and he was staring at them like he was looking at a ghost. She knew that he'd been holding on to hope about this whole situation, even with all of the red flags that had been popping up. Nectaris had not. At least the pile of ash where Faustite had been couldn't follow her home and betray her, couldn't spring any more ambushes. This was fine. Sad, maybe, that it had gotten to that point, but fine. She reached for Encke's upper arm, since his hands were like that. "Hey," she said quietly, glancing to Basiluzzo, because it seemed like something was off her. "Let's go home too, okay?"

Captain JadariteLeaving, messaging her teamAh. It was too late. Jadarite felt something harden in her chest as Faustite chose to vanish in the middle of his violent transformation. She could only be grateful that Albite listened to the steel at his throat if nothing else. He at least managed to save himself. There was nothing more for her to do here. She could only leave and and await whatever tongue-lashing Jet's blonde pet saw fit to give. She did not like this feeling. She needed a drink. As she vanished to the street near her apartment, she messaged Pax and Borax. Quote: Get out as you can. The White Moon should be too distracted to bother you. Your patience in the chaos was was exemplary. If only you could be an example for my other comrades. [EXIT]

Corrupt Sailor Pax hey. taxi.
The princess' caterwauling was hurting their ears. Couldn't she wail in pain a little more quietly? She'd passed out eventually, at least, which was probably good for her; with the headphones on, all the further discussion from the mess of a scene dulled to ambiguous noise.
And they'd lost all respect they might've had for Albite, but, admittedly, that had not been a lot of respect to lose. Every time they'd met him, he'd hit Pax's nerves at an angle that made them grit their teeth so hard they felt enamel would break.
So he was an unreliable, overemotional, idiot. They didn't intend to put their life in his hands if they had a choice. Ideally they would have a choice. But that was for the future, and right now they needed transport out of here. Pax didn't think anyone in that clearing was likely to go after them, but Borax was probably a different story..?
They slipped down from their treebranch perch, taking a few steps over to Borax, and reached out and tapped him on the shoulder. "Can you," Pax said, without a lot of inflection, and gestured with their tablet to ideally get the message across: can you get me out of here, like Jadarite said.---- Anakeion Squire of Castor 3 am waffle house group invite
She'd gotten a good hit in on the guy, at least, but before she could get in anything else he'd vanished. It wasn't exactly reassuring; Eternals were pretty durable, and as far as Anakeion could tell she hadn't broken his jaw (she was pretty sure she would've felt more give than that), so it wasn't like she'd accomplished much. She hadn't ******** anything up beyond repair in the fight overall, she was pretty sure, but she hadn't really done?? much?? either???
But as she looked around at the solemn clearing, at Encke dissociating all the way to his comet, at Lysithea unconscious -- hell, she wanted to do something, but what could she do? She wasn't a medic, and she didn't have healing magic; she was a barista, in a shitty band, and had magic that did exactly one thing and one thing only. Now wasn't exactly the time for levity, anyway.
"I'm heading to Waffle House," Anakeion said, and sighed, because what else could she do, "probably, so if anyone doesn't have anything else they can do and just -- wants, to not be alone, for a couple a' hours?"
It wasn't much. It was barely anything. Probably nobody would take her up on it. But it was a little better than nothing, and she was working on that.Any Order in the clearing right now

Mont Saint Michel, Knight of Saturn, Eternal Sailor Adria and Eternal Sailor Malus
Action: Talking to Ida: Michel is hostile, Adria is not What–who the ******** was she?
Michel half turned to squint at the Transcended Senshi, but if he’d seen her before, she was forgotten. “No.”
He almost left at just that–and he thought a denial was generous enough, but–no, he was mad, and that stupid ******** senshi and that stupid ******** youma got out of here just fine, and Lysithea’s arm was broken, and Faustite was gone, and–
Ida hadn’t done anything wrong. She was trying to be kind. She saw an injury, she wanted to help.
She was just in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
“I have medical knowledge, too, but that doesn’t make me qualified to fix an arm. I could snap this back in place until it looked right, but that doesn’t mean it is right. And unless you’ve got x-ray vision and can tell me that she doesn’t need surgery or metal sticks in her arm, I don’t want you touching her. Go help someone else. I’ve got this.”
His voice was sharp, annoyed. Maybe he wanted her to get mad. Maybe he wanted her to lash out so he had an excuse to send his summon at someone.
Malus gritted his teeth at Michel, and he knew him, he knew that he lashed out when he was worried. Couldn’t let anyone see him being scared or vulnerable. So he’d lash out and push them away before they could. It was probably easier to lash out at a stranger than a friend–if Michel would admit that he thought of them as much–but the more worried he got, the worse it would be. He opened his mouth to say something, but Adria beat him to it.
“I’m sorry. We’re just in a hurry. Thank you.”
His voice trembled–his hands trembled. He was still pale. He’d apologized for his brother more times than he could remember, and it was instinct now as much as it was when they were younger.
He looked at Ida intently, like he wanted her to take away his words and not Michel’s, but he didn’t have the presence of the Knight, or the intensity. He just looked desperate, and couldn’t even muster the will to look hopeful about any of it.

Captain BoraxAction: Getting himself and Pax out of dodge. There was a small part of him that took some internal delight in the wailing of those on the other side, but only a small part. Most of the wailing and bitching and moaning was on their side because apparently, they were a bunch of ******** disasters. He had done what he was supposed to do. He stayed back and waited for a signal that was never received. His spear never got to be truly soaked with anything, a terrible buzzkill for something he had been looking forward to. It was also a buzzkill that the plan was a failure all around. Faustite was turning into something very much other, and while he was fascinating as a being that had fire contained within his gut, he knew what the inevitable result of that exit had been. No matter what had desolved, it was too late. Their general was going to become a youma. Brilliant. To Jadarite's message, he tapped out a simple, He felt Pax tap him on the shoulder and turned over his shoulder to look down at them. "Yeah, sure," he could do that now, a delight on its own, but he wouldn't focus on the fact that teleportation was something he could do but just get himself and Pax out of there before some other s**t happened. Knowing that he didn't yet have the power of a general, and barely a captain, he placed a hand on their shoulder before he focused on some other point away from there and left with the both of them. He needed a goddamn drink.------------- Corrupt Eternal Sailor Fulgurite, Senshi of SpringsAction: Out with Cryolite, trying not to signal that Nectaris should call him ... s**t. He watched, his face growing pale, as one of the order senshi--that was Encke, right? matched with the description--dragged Faustite toward the court that Albite was for some ******** reason attacking. He felt Cryolite cling hard to the material of his uniform as Faustite suddenly yanked himself away, body changing as he vanished into nothing. He heard the wailing and the screaming. The world felt like it was moving in slow motion around him as Cryolite pulled on him. we need to go. They needed to leave. He didn't know if the White Moon would turn their horror with the experience on those around, and he didn't want to be a part of that. Moving to Prehnite had done nothing because there was nothing to be done. He hated this. He cursed the ground they walked on and their supposed ******** allies. He cursed ambushes, in themselves. He had a new reason to hate them. we need to go. He saw Nectaris, in the distance, standing with a cadre of order people. He probably shouldn't--he likely shouldn't--was she looking at him? Did she even want to? He lifted a hand to place his finger and thumb toward his ear, weakly, but he didn't put any further effort into it again. They needed to leave. Fulgurite grabbed Cryolite's arm and vanished with him without another word.

Basiluzzo, Squire of UranusAction: accepting the waffle house invite! ' Well, that happened.' Nectaris couldn't have said it any better. Basiluzzo couldn't have said it any better himself. None of their attempts to defend Faustite, to move him closer, had panned out. Instead, Chaos jumped the gun, and in the, well, chaos, Faustite had given up. He'd started to transform. He'd looked up at the stars and disappeared. And in his absence, hell broke loose. There was screaming and yelling, people scolding, people throwing blame around at Order for... some reason. The latter made him roll his eyes discreetly to himself without comment. But with the tears, there were injuries. He couldn't do anything about the tears on either side, but he could do something about the injuries--so far as practical aid went--should it be needed. His abilities unfortunately did not include healing magic. "If you need help, I'll do what I can," ventured Basiluzzo to Kerberos. To start, Basiluzzo could tell that something was off in the way that Encke kept looking at his hands. He could take an educated guess what it was, but that wasn't anything Basiluzzo could do anything about in the moment, because he had the feeling it wasn't the redness and charring on the skin that had Encke distracted. Basiluzzo could see clearly that Encke's hands were injured, but he wasn't sure Encke could, or would. Instead, there was something far-away in Encke's eyes that Basiluzzo recognized-- Efforts to keep Faustite from turning into a monster had failed. Basiluzzo guessed there had been an ambush planned for after the purification that had ended up, well... Now there was certainly a mess, and the reason for it was ultimately irrelevant at this point. Instead, they needed to proceed to getting everyone out of the area. Going home sounded like an alright idea, but Basiluzzo didn't want to leave Encke to wallow in their room. Maybe there was something to Anakeion's suggestion of Waffle House. "******** this, indeed," Basiluzzo muttered to Nectaris and Encke, before turning to Kerberos and offering a, "thank you," and then, to Anakeion: "I could use some shitty, cheap comfort breakfast food, I think."

Mauvian ViatrixAction: Talking to Harmonia, also agreeing with the Waffle House Visit. Aquamarine had said something about how they weren't here for her, and she rolled her eyes as a consequence. Sure. That was why they all popped in, and why Roselite was saying this wasn't their intention -- so what was? -- and why some of them started attacking, even illogically. Even ... illogically. To see the attempts they had made to purify Faustite meet something that caused them to fall apart and fail was heartbreaking. Was there anything she could do about it? Not really. What could she do, scratch them up further? Chase after the ash on the ground, including after that other chaos mauvian that just disappeared? She'd love to do that, but she didn't know where he teleported to. Go talk to Cybele? To Anakeion? To Skoll? To Lysithea and Ida? To Encke? Her gaze went around the field until she spotted Harmonia, and decided one of the people she had recruited later on should be checked in on, trotting over there as quickly as she could. "Harmonia?" she asked, carefully. She saw how Harmonia had lashed out. "Are you alright? Anakeion suggested going to waffle house to breathe, which might not be a bad idea..."

Transcendent Eternal Sailor Encke, Senshi of PlasmaAction: Not quite acknowledging his pain. Talking to Kerberos, Albite, Nectaris, Basiluzzo, and Anakeion. As he looked around, he acknowledged, loosely, that a spark of something was flying at him. It hit him in the gut, and he glanced down at it with a sort of detachment, not quite registering it for what it was as his gaze flicked back from his stomach to those around him. He did feel Kerberos' magic blossom up around him, and perhaps that was ultimately for the best. It wouldn't fix everything, but it was something, and Encke, who wasn't quite feeling much of anything, would not have thought to address it himself. He offered a, "Thank you," in response, even if Basiluzzo's thoughts were right. His gaze was far off and elsewhere. Encke did not look defeated, necessarily, but it was hard to say how present he was. He kept looking at his hands, even as he kept his back straight and tapped into his acting chops to yank at attention. "Something's what we got, right now." What else could they do? Everyone was leaving, disappearing, picking up the pieces, and speaking with each other. Nectaris was suggesting they just go home, because that had just happened, and perhaps there was nothing left here. Nothing left except for the memories of a half-youma dying and becoming a youma. Youma could be saved. Youma could be saved. Did he hear Albite say he had done everything he could? It brought a loose smile to his face that didn't quite make it to his eyes, but it was there. He shook it off. Wasn't this at least in part Albite's fault? Did that make a difference in his words? Even if emotions had overwhelmed -- Anakeion spoke up, suggesting that they all just go to Waffle House, and Basiluzzo was looking at him before he agreed to shitty comfort food. Was his face too gaunt? Were his arms too long, his eyes too sunken? Could they see what he saw in his mind's eye? "Sure," offered Encke, running a hand over his hair. "Whatever will help."

Knight NectarisAgreeing to Waffle House, heading out"Waffle House?" It only took a few seconds of chewing on her cheeks, considering this, before she was nodding. Basi seemed to think it was a good idea, and she trusted his judgement, and she was still pretty sure something was off with Encke, but he was agreeing to it, too. "Yeah, okay." She could really go for eating a questionable amount of bacon and fried potatoes right about now. As the rest of the group moved in that direction, so did she. [Exit, presumably to Waffle House]

Eternal Sailor Harmonia, Senshi of HarmonyActive: Ruminating. Talking to Viatrix. Accepting waffle house. Battles were messy things.
Messy and fast.
She’d barely registered that Faustite was mutating and changing while in her state of panic, before he teleported out with words that made her heart sink. They failed? She looked around desperately to see if someone had an answer to all of this. A way to bring him back but she knew. She knew it wasn’t feasible for any of them to follow. Even the royals could do nothing and that was a painful realization for the young woman.
Chaos were leaving. Albite with them. She watched him carefully as his anger seemed to fade into something else. But poor Lysithea. It was a harsh reminder that, though she had thought she’d befriended the man, things could turn so quickly in this war. She rubbed at her forearm where Albites magic had grabbed hold before snapping back in his rage. She was left with nothing but red welts, but they burned for the memories that surface.
Harmonia was content to be a shadow in the cluster of White Moon. She had never established herself with any group or singular person. Always the solo senshi for her lack of attempts to connect with others. It was easier to not know anyone else. Easier on her heart, despite the fact that being involved in the community would make her life that much easier. So she stayed back and watched as some people rushed to the princesses side and others death with the aftermath in other ways.
She heard remark of gathering together. To spend time not alone. She bit at her bottom lip torn between accepting and just leaving.
Then Viatrix came over to her. The little orange cat bringing a small smile to the eternal’s face as she knelt down to the to be closer to the mauvians level. “I am fine. Thank you.” She responded.
Vaguely, Har wondered what the agents were doing now. Likely something much more gut wrenching than making decisions on whether to join others at a waffle house or not. She grimaced slightly at the thought.
She glanced at the others with Viatrix’s offer. “I think I will, if it’s alright?” She said carefully. Her heart needed company instead of the solitude her apartment would give her. At home she’d sulk and ruminate. In the company of others, well…perhaps she’d find something else?
Daekie Waffle House? Company? *big eyes*

Transcended Eternal IdaShe was unprepared for the venom shot her way, feeling like this stranger had physically slapped her. Ida blinked wide, brown eyes at him before her expression softened and she held up her hands, palms out, in that universal gesture of look, I’m no threat, I have no weapons. She had no idea who this knight was, what he was to Lysithea, and she knew he likely had no idea who she was either.
Ida could have pointed out that she’d seen hundreds of broken arms, set hundreds of them, and had about as much knowledge as anyone else. She could have asked him which risk was worse; a maybe improperly set arm, or the chance that Lysithea’s identity might be compromised. Because unless he could personally vouch for every single person in whatever place he chose to get the x-rays and possible surgery she might need, that was very much a risk. She could have said that with so many people who could offer magical healing, they could compensate for a good amount of that lack.
But she knew, from his tone and his stance and the misplaced anger in his face, that he would not have listened to a word of it. People often lashed out when they were scared or hurt. She’d weathered uncountable number of patients who had done so. Ida understood that, and after everything she had been through these last few months, this felt no worse than any of those had. She let it wash over her and disappear into the aether, at least mostly unphased.
“Of course, you must do what you think is right.” She said in her best soothing nurse’s tone. She fully expected it to be ignored, but it didn’t ultimately matter. Instead, she turned to the two senshi with them and offered them a smile, full of gentle warmth and understanding. They looked miserable, and she supposed that was fair. None of this was any of their fault, as far as she knew.
“I’m Ida, if you ever do need anything.”
