The steady onslaught of attacks, both magical and physical, seemed to be doing something; the creatures legs began to crack--sort of. Though the monster was a bright, glowing white, the strain on its legs seemed to cause a concentrated gathering of energy. Blinding white light spread up its legs like lightning, and liquid energy seemed to pool out of it like blood before dissolving into miniature wisps and floating up into the air. Whatever attack it was preparing was temporarily stalled; it reared up in what might have been pain--or massive annoyance--and flailed, digging its clawed fingers into the ground to stabilize itself. The creature’s tail swished behind it in an effort to attack what it couldn’t see. Even without managing a full swing, the force from its tail was powerful enough that a single swipe felled every tree it came in contact with and sent them toppling to the ground. Quote: Quote: The monster is showing signs of damage, but it’s not enough to take it down--and, now you have to worry about whatever strange energy is leaking out of it. Coming in contact with the energy burns, but how much so is up to the player. It cannot pass through fabric and seems to only affect exposed skin. Players can choose if they get a concentrated burst that does lasting damage, or if they want to feel the effects or sensation of a temporary burn; players may choose to take no damage at all, but should avoid writing that they come into contact with the leaking energy. Players may also choose to take damage from the tail if they like; it is strong enough to knock down trees so may send powered characters flying.
Use RNG to determine how much damage you do to the creature! If you have a civilian, a powered character using their civilian glamour, or a Mauvian in their cat form, please RNG 1-8 to determine how much damage you do.
If you have a first stage character, a Mauvian in their humanoid form, or a youma, please RNG 2-9 to determine how much damage you do.
If you have a second stage character or a Mauvian in their Mauvian Senshi form, please RNG 3-10 to determine how much damage you do.
If you have a third stage character, please RNG 4-11 to determine how much damage you do.
If you have a fourth stage character, please RNG 5-12 to determine how much damage you do. This thread is open to characters from all factions! You can play as many characters as you like, but players are discouraged from participating with more characters than they can reasonably play during the event. We strongly encourage players to fill out prompts as they go and make a genuine effort to backfill as soon as possible if they are not able to fill out their post immediately. You can post as often as you like between mule posts, but you can only roll for damage once per character. Please do not delete rolls if you make a mistake. Players must put their character’s name, rank, and damage tally in bold red at the top of their posts. Please tally the total damage for your character after each roll! You can join the ORP at any time, up until the final prompt when new participants will no longer be permitted. If you miss a roll, you will not be able to backdate a post to make that roll. You must backfill any empty posts before you can claim any potential prizes, so please try to fill out your posts as soon as possible! As soon as you write 500 Words to the ORP, you can claim it for your Individual Participation Prizes, Gold Star Award, and Bingo Completion! The ORP does not need to be finished for you to do this. Hyperborea, Transcended Knight of the Cosmos - 7 + 6 + 11 = 24 damageHyperborea smiled to herself once she noticed the the cracks however her happiness was short lived when the burning sensation set in. She hissed as she turned away instinctive pulling her cloak up around herself for protection. Thankfully that seemed to stop the pain. Hyperborea wasn't sure exactly what the burning sensation was but she figure it was like her aspect and it wouldn't do much damage so long as it didn't touch her skin. So she pulled her hood up and tried to cover as much of her skin as possible.
"Stay behind me." She said to Caer Sidi. She appreciated that the girl wanted to do her part but Hyperborea also knew that she wouldn't be able to do her part if she was riving in pain from the light.
Then the tail came, Hyperborea barely had enough time to turn around and tackle Caer Sidi out of the way of the tail. "You ok?" She asked as she helped her fellow Cosmos knight up. Once she was sure Caer was alright to keep fight she charged the monster.
She was mad now, she wanted this thing gone. She rammed the star atop her staff into one of the cracks wrenching it back and worth all her might trying to rip the crack open further.Quote: Hyperborea is open for interactions

Chibi Super Sailor Ara, Senshi of Illumination - 9 + 9 + 9 = 27 DamageAra cheered as the fighters seemed to finally be making headway as cracks in the monsters seemily impervious shell were opened. However her excitement dimmed as as blinding light like liquid seemed to pool out of the wounds. Even when injured the thing is dangerous. Ara thought as she grit her teeth shielding herself against the light. It seemed like the strange light was breaking up into little wisp like creatures.
"Come on Char lets really hit it looks like this hurt." She said to her younger friend. She dug deep as she could feel her energy reserves depleting. She figured she had enough left for one more Infinite Light Parade. But she didn't think she could cast the spell after that
The monster's tail swung wildly taking out trees when it hit them. She was glad she wasn't in its path, she would be broken in half if she got hit by that kind of power. Taking aim at its face once again she called. "Infinite Light Parade." as the beams of light fired. Are wiped her forehead, she was sweating from the exertion, she didn't usually have to use this much magic in a fight.

Corrupt Sailor Cymophane - 4Before either Cymophane or Kamacite could determine what to do, the creature began to show signs of being damaged — good; so their attacks were doing something — which hopefully meant it was weakening and would be well on its way to… what? Were large, reptilian monsters dusted the same way as youma? Where did they go when they were defeated? Could they regenerate like youma?
Cymophane had so many questions, but there was no time for answers.
Something was seeping out of the creature, some strange energy that didn’t seem entirely harmless, though Cymophane was lucky not to feel the effects of it. He barely had the chance to use his magic a third and final time when, with a swipe of the monster’s tail, there were trees falling. Cymophane cursed in Russian and pushed Kamacite out of the way of some of the resulting debris, avoiding a rather large tree limb.
“You okay?” he asked.
Kamacite might be more powerful than he was, but after what happened with Lev, Cymophane needed to feel like he could actually protect the people he cared about.
“This is the worst,” he said. “I think I’d rather fight youma in the Rift, or go up against a Princess.”

Sailor Tjilaki, Senshi of Icebergs 3 damage
total damage: 4+7+3=14
Tjilaki looked the monster over. All the hits it was getting seem to be doing something. His legs seemed to be cracking somehow little by little. Tjilaki picked up another rock and throw it at the monster. Maybe she should try and use her powers? She didn't want to tire herself out or use up her strength. She wanted to use her powers at the exact moment she thought she would need to use them. She looked for other bricks to throw at the monster.
She searched around for even bigger rocks to throw at the monster.

Lieutenant Roselite - 2Roselite nodded to agree with his Captain, not because he actually agreed — he didn’t; he should stand and fight like everyone else — but because it was all he could do when his senses were overloading and his thoughts were in shambles.
He couldn’t think at all. Couldn’t breathe — oh, no, that wasn’t an exaggeration. He couldn’t breathe.
Was he having a panic attack? Had he ever had a panic attack before? It didn’t matter, Roselite was definitely having one now. Everything about this was all wrong. He shouldn’t be here. None of them should be here. The monster shouldn’t be here. It was going to kill every last one of them and destroy the city, and all the paperwork Roselite had done in the last four months would be for nothing, because the Negaverse would cease to exists beneath the monter’s giant, stomping feet and the war would no longer matter and he would always be a worthless waste of a human being; he’d never amount to anything and no one would even care that he was gone, because he’d never accomplished anything in his life and everyone else would be dead anyway, including Captain Bloodstone, who was one of the only person who thought Roselite had any worth, and if he was gone then Roselite had nothing, and why could he not ******** breathe?
There was blinding white light and liquid energy and tiny wisps floating in the air, which Roselite noticed as if from a distance, like an out-of-body spectator, lost to his own panic. Something irritated the skin of his face and hands, tingling so much it burned, but Roselite couldn’t even brush it off, too tense from fear to move.
Until it seemed like Captain Bloodstone might leave to attack the monster, which is when Roselite grabbed onto his jacket and refused to let go.

Lieutenant Carnallite - 2With quite a bit of skin exposed from the ridiculous uniform she was made to wear (she was still convinced Bloodstone had something to do with it, like he decided she should be made to look like a fool when he stuck his hand in her chest), Carnallite felt the full effects of the energy which leaked from the monster. It burned, sharp and uncomfortable, but she gritted her teeth together and dealt with it by ignoring it.
The swiping tail presented a much bigger problem, felling trees of significant size. Carnallite avoided what she could, but took a hard knock to the shoulder from a falling branch and tumbled to the ground. She was back on her feet just as quickly, throwing her boomerang with a frustrated snarl.
“It’s legs,” she observed.
There were cracks forming. With the size of this thing, the legs were all a lot of them could reach, so it was somewhat heartening to realize their efforts were accomplishing something. If they could successfully take out its legs…
“I don’t suppose anyone will listen to a petition for Lieutenants to be offered better weaponry.”
What she wouldn't give to be able to hack at it with something.

Transcended Eternal Scylla - 9 + 6 +5 = 20 damageWell then. At last their concentration on the monster seemed to be doing something, and the senshi of the Kraken hummed, clenching her fists; the tentacles creeping up Croczilla's legs tightened as well. Liquid energy seeped forth from the cracks that seemed to be spreading upwards, and Scylla yelped as the sensation spilled over her skin from her connection with her magic. Oh, the pain wouldn't be permanent, but it certainly broke her concentration some- and with it, her control over her powers. The tentacles relaxed, whipping wildly, instead of trying to hold the monster; Scylla let it go, choosing instead to focus and try to avoid the flailing tail that was coming her way. It did not escape her gaze, however, that the energy seemed to be taking an almost wispy and orb-like form as it rose. That damn Merchant. If he was still there when she went to pick up her crab rangoon, he would be getting a talking to. Chibi Super Charybdis - 4 + 6 +8 = 18 damageOh. Shiny. The ten-year-old Chibi couldn't help but pause briefly to admire the lovely, glowing cracks climbing up the monster's legs. Yeah. it was probably bad, but there weren't any rules saying that something bad couldn't also be pretty- look at poison ivy and other poisonous plants and venomous snakes and stuff. No one wanted them to touch them, but they had to admire the colors. Of course that led to the small blonde senshi getting splashed on- and she was SO relieved that it mostly landed on her capelet instead of her skin. And sleeves! Bless the creator who had given her SLEEVES. Charybdis flung herself away from the glowing light, yelping as the 'blood' glowed and then wisped away. But she had to get back closer to the monster. "Cover me!" she yelled back to Ara, and then ran forward to the monster, pulling her capelet over her head to protect herself from any additional blood- and summoning her only true 'attack'. "Shiny Pup!" she yelled, once under the monster; the number of Chaos agents nearby, combined with the fact the monster was... definitely... an enemy... Hopefully no other senshi would get very close... Quote: Chibi Super Sailor Attack: Shiny Pup!The Seal pup that Charybdis makes, once it has some attention (defined as being within/having eye contact with an enemy within 5 feet, or being within 5 feet of 2+ Chaos agents), essentially turns into a flash-bang; It shines incredibly brightly, the brightness reaching out to a 10-foot radius, and the sweet little whiny orks and grunts it was making as it wriggled closer to the Chaos members turns to a high-pitched shriek that affects anyone in a 5 foot radius. Unfortunate allies may be affected by this, though Charybdis herself will not- it is her escape mechanism! The seal can remain for up to 15 seconds before it goes off; this attack can be used 3 times, and causes no damage. (TL;DR: Look! A small screaming sun!)

Squire Imbrium - 7 + 4 +4 = 15 damage
NO! No, No, and NO.
Imbrium was unable to block the blast from the creature, because it didn't seem to blast anything. But what did happen was that the monster's tail smashed right through her wall, which- kept her from getting thrown into a tree. Again. But did nothing to keep her from falling over, and getting the sensation of something dripping onto her.
The glowing liquid spilled onto her exposed thigh, with her upper body protected by her shield's position, and she squealed in pain as the burn ran down her leg to her ankle before the energy seemed to almost... dissolve. It left behind a vibrant scarlet mark, however, that burned like the dickens. Scrambling, she threw a chunk of rock at the open 'wounds' on the creature's leg and booked it out of melee range like a coward.
An arrow, an arrow, her Wonder for an arrow...
