Namielle - Guardian Cat

All clawed out and exhausted from shooting her little laser, it was safe to say that Namielle was spent and in the instant that the area lit up around her with senshi magic, she hauled herself into the dome and promptly slumped at the feet of the Dark Mirror.

There was little she could do against the rain of splinters and given she had definitely used up all her strength firing her laser at fog beasts, she no longer had the ability to do so now.

"I think I'm just going to...rest now," she admitted in a small, tired voice. "Keep going, you got this," she added, to no one in particular.

Adorea - Corrupt Senshi of Optimism

"I can respect someone who doesn't wrinkle their nose straight away," she smiled at Rakovanite and his acceptance that she might be able to assist, it was Diesel's remark that made her chuckle though. Whoever he was, he certainly seemed to be a bundle of enthusiasm and otherwise inclined to push his companion towards in the right direction.

Now that she'd been given ample permission to 'proceed', the senshi returned her gaze to the Captain and lifted a hand to tap at her visor.

"You're going to have to look here for me," she instructed, after all, if she wasn't looked at by her targets she was generally largely unsuccessful in casting anything of use. After she'd given her instructions though it wasn't long before she actually did something with them and with surprisingly little flourish she gave a wink.

"Adorea's Optimistic Wink!" She called out and cast her magic towards him, magic that was most assuredly definitely not harmful and was highly unlikely to be at any time in the future. Perhaps she was in the minority, but every side needed a healer, right?

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Adorea's Optimistic Wink!
Adorea calls the name of her attack and winks; she or an ally will immediately feel like what they're doing is going to turn out better than okay; that it's going to be perfect and that the 'good guys' are going to win/get out alive.

Moderate wounds, bordering on heavy, will begin to heal for as long as this magic lasts. This magic will stop short of healing any heavy damage, but may buy a small fraction of time to allow someone to find a way to stem the blood and seek medical attention. This attack lasts 30 seconds and can be used twice a battle.

Corrupt Eternal Kamacite | Roll 3

Kamacite was surprised when the General handed him his dagger, even if he belittled his attempt at not blinding everyone in range but still making an attempt to help. He half expected the General to use his dagger to try and kill him, or maim him enough to be used for bait.

“Thank you,” Kamacite lowered his head in appreciation as he took the dagger, gripping tightly to the hilt. He’d been trained to use one, but that seemed like a lifetime ago.

It was difficult to try and ignore the pain that radiated through his body, but he knew they had to do something about this monster if they had any chance at getting out.

He rushed forward to take a swing at one of the monster’s arms, but the monster was in the process of winding up to attack them in return. Outstretched talons raked across the biting cold air, catching Kamacite’s already injured left arm and shoulder. His close proximity to the creature meant that the shockwave was enough to knock him backwards. Kamacite crumpled on the ground where he landed, doing what he could to bite back a scream from the pain.

General Jet | Roll 3

Jet knew the monster was preparing to attack, but that was why he wanted so desperately to finish it off. With it still attacking, there was no way for them to escape and no time for him to make sure that Aquamarine was okay.

Thankfully, he finally caught a glimpse of the other General after hearing his name called once more. He looked rather worse for wear but was alive. The relief that Jet felt was short lived because, unfortunately, Aquamarine was also trying to attack the monster.

“Wait, get back!” he called, making a movement as though to reach out and somehow magically stop Aquamarine from getting any closer, to stop him from getting in harm’s way. But his words were drowned out as razor sharp talons ripped through trees and the crowd of people around it.

He was thrown to the ground with the shockwave, but from what he could tell the claws had only managed to rip through his cape, which had come loose and fell from his shoulders as he rushed to get back on his feet. He was in too much of a hurry to do a full damage report, and while he knew he would have very little time to do anything, his feet found a way to drag himself over to where Aquamarine had been knocked back.

Jet immediately threw his arms around Aquamarine’s shoulders once he was on his knees on the ground next to him. It was dangerous to be so close to the monster, but if they kept their heads down, they should both be relatively out of range for the moment. <********> What the ********. You idiot I thought it killed you.” The words were muffled against Aquamarine’s blood matted hair, and Jet’s weapon had been dropped in his haste to make sure the other General wasn’t just an illusion. “********, you look like s**t. You need a hospital.”

Sailor Alsafi - Basic - 4+8+ ...9!

Oh! OH! They were freaking the SCP out and it didn't like it! The senshi positively lit up, perking just a littlee bit. Maybe she could do more damage? Yes. Yaaaas. The senshi beamed, and them moved, looking around before picking up a dense, heavy branch, and....

She hit the monster with it. No it wasn't smart -- Alsafi tool shrapnel from the broken ytree, but she was beginning to feel bolder, and she basred teeth, hissinh surprisingly[/i[ well before slamming the branch down.

"Just die already!" She snapped. "Just DIE!"

Sessrumnir, Knight of Jupiter | Not Attacking

Sessrumnir shook his head at Palatine’s questions, not really knowing for sure himself, but Oberon seemed convinced that there was more to this monster than what they could see. But Oberon was going to be disappointed, as was always the case when it came to fighting off youma and monsters and other magical entities.

There were too many of them who were so desperate to get out of this place that no one was going to stop and think that maybe there was a reason they were there in the first place.

At least no one but Oberon it seemed.

“I think… when he was telling me his thoughts before… Oberon thinks it needs us. For some reason. It’s taking people but not killing them. Now it’s not letting anyone out.”

At this point, it didn’t seem as though the monster cared if any of them were killed in the process of trying to subdue them into staying.

“Let’s get out of range. Looks like there are plenty that want to kill it,” Sessrumnir pointed out. For the sake of his brother, he couldn’t bring himself to continue fighting it, even though he knew it was likely the only way they could get out.

Eternal Sailor Oberon, Senshi of Adventure | Not Attacking

There had to be another reason for it wanting them there other than making them suffer. But Pendour was right. Now all everyone else cared about was trying to kill it. And they knew absolutely nothing about it.

“Please stop!” he called to anyone who could hear him, but it was too dangerous to leave Pendour and try to get closer to the Guardian to try and stop other’s attacks. Instead, he shrugged out of his jacket and threw it around Pendour’s shoulders, so he could then put his arms around her and keep her from having to look at the violence taking place behind her.

“We know nothing about it! It could need our help!”

But it was always the same. This could be similar to a youma that had previously been a human for all they knew. They might just need a Prince or Princess or Royal Knight to come purify it, to break whatever curse it was under.

“We’ll follow the river as soon as it’s safe,” Oberon agreed, his jaw tight as he also closed his eyes, not wanting to see these humans destroy just one more thing they didn’t understand because they perceived it to be dangerous. “I’m sorry,” he muttered, but it wasn’t clear if he was apologizing to Pendour or to the creature, or both.

Sailor Monoceros [Roll 3] | 2

Monoceros shivered as he finally noticed the fog encircling them like some kind of horrific arena, trapping them with the horrid monster. Even if he'd wanted to attempt to flee this early, it seemed to be quite impossible.

The monster roared and knocked over a tree, and Monoceros was forced to duck to avoid the splinters flying through the air. This just had not been his day. His week. His... month? They'd been here for so long, he couldn't tell time anymore.

Getting desperate, he stood up abruptly and flung more quills again, eyes wildly looking all over the place as he prayed he didn't inflict any collateral damage. He didn't think he did any, but considering the monster hardly reacted to his efforts, it probably didn't matter.

At least there were plenty of other people there to help. He took a deep breath to steady himself again. Focus. He could do it. Every little bit helped. Even if it didn't seem to be much. Really, he didn't know how much damage he was actually doing, after all.

The main goal was to get them out, and he was determined to help. That was his job, after all. Sailor Monoceros, big helper guy.

In the back of his mind, he worried about Elsa, and hoped that the Chaos Senshi would make it out alive. He'd been kind to Monoceros, despite being on the side of evil. Another part of the back of his mind couldn't help but compare this feeling inside him to when he was a child, realizing that plenty of the people of the Fire Nation were simply good people led by a tyrant and didn't know any better. He wondered if Elsa could be persuaded to leave them, then.

It wasn't a thing to worry about now, though. Not when so many lives were in imminent danger.

Metis of the Third Eye | 10 Roll 3

He was declining to--?! Metis felt herself stiffen, floundering for a moment on how to respond before she pushed herself up to her feet. "I'm not requesting anything, Athalia, you're hurt, and we don't exactly have a Dr. Frankenstein around to stitch you back together--" Her huff of an argument was cut off as she heard him ripping apart sections of his uniform, going silent a moment as her brows furrowed and she watched him construct some sort of semi-ranged weapon using the piece of metal from earlier. She frowned, aware of her own in the 'pocket' of subspace she'd stored it in.

A little piece of comfort wasn't something to give up easily in a place like this, after all.

The creature's response though to the various assaults on it was auditable enough for her to flinch. Metis yelped as she heard wood shatter and splinter, trunks cracking and breaking under the sudden weight of the upper portion of the tree being too much for the broken stems to bear. Winds, shockwaves, from the swipes sent her hair and skirts billowing, shards of debris striking bits of exposed skin.

"...even if that guy is right, and this creature isn't our enemy, it's certainly done nothing to support this notion to anyone else. It's abducted, it's attacked, and it continues to injure people." Her words were little more than a grumble, a hiss, and as Athalia tossed her the makeshift weapon, she hesitated maybe half a second--really, just the moment it took to identify where it'd fallen--and snatched it up from the ground.

She pulled from her little subspace pocket the other piece of metal, the trinket she'd found herself, and tied it to the other end of the rope. White energy radiated from Athalia, making her vision flicker and jostle a moment till the dome of his shield settled into place. A faint veil of white energy, it kept more of the splinters from striking them at least.

His words were met with a grim smile. "With pleasure." From within the safety of the shield, the energies of Chaos and Order alike illuminated the creature's outline for her. The empty space it occupied chilled her, but she had a defined target.

When the thing would slash at something--living or tree or whatever--close enough to them, she was able to lash out with either end of the weighted rope. Using momentum through her whole body, the strikes carried weight and strength, and she was at least for the moment rewarded with repeated landing strikes against the creature.

Realta | 4 Roll 3

....did she hear that right? Someone thought this thing was friendly? Or could be? The current behaviour of the creature made her highly doubt this, or at the very least, gave her little reason to back down for the moment. Even if it was the case of a beast reacting to being cornered, if one wished to argue that point, it'd first kidnapped some of their own, terrorized the lot of them...

Realta snorted, focusing her energy into a beam of light from the star on her forehead at the slashing, flailing creature. Even if she'd no interest in killing it, they needed to at least restrain it and keep it from attacking them further. Then if the creature could be dealt with in any other way, they could figure it out.

Captain Seraphinite | 4 Roll 3

He had figured a massive creature like that would pack a punch. He just hadn't expected it to also be so damn fast. Seraphinite coughed and gasped where he was thrown back to, the wind knocked out of him after the creature managed to effectively backhand him with a flailing sweep of its hand. It'd struck his side, sending him onto the ground without a gasp of breath to him, leaving him greedily sucking in air as he rolled out of the way of it slashing where he'd just fallen.

Seraphinite grit his teeth, again dodging as the creature slashed away a large chunk of a tree, causing it to collapse without the support of its trunk. He returned the favour in a way, using one sword to try and act as a makeshift shield while the other sliced towards the creature's midsection.

Corrupt Rigel of the Eldritch | 8 Roll 3

Rigel winced as he saw Seraphinite get caught by the creature's swipe at one point. Oof. That was going to leave a bruise. The senshi lingered mostly away from the conflict, still observing, still marveling. Even with all the attacks it was suffering--magical, physical--it still stood so strong and proud.

Really, what he wouldn't do for his camera right about then...

But, he was aware that Jet was also out there somewhere, and Rigel wasn't entirely keen on getting any lectures later from either the General, or his Captain, so even as the slashes sent out shockwaves that had Rigel laughing in the wind they caused, he took moments between the waves to throw rocks and other larger debris.

One even managed to rattle around the creature's antlers which made him whoot in triumph, as if he'd scored a goal.

General Aquamarine | Not attacking this round

Once again, Aquamarine found himself knocked to the ground. Due to the suddenness of it, he wasn’t entirely sure how it happened this time, but he assumed it had something to do with being in close range when the creature flung its arms around. It was a familiar predicament, regardless; the impact knocked the rapier from Aquamarine’s hand and stole the air from his lungs, sending another wave of pain tearing through his right side. There was a ringing in his ears as he stared up through the fog. Darkness crept along the edges of his vision, threatening to drag him down into unconsciousness.

Then Jet’s face appeared before him, and Aquamarine fought through the disorientation to reach for him, hands curling tight into Jet’s jacket. He pulled oxygen down his throat even though the expansion of his chest aggravated his injuries, filling and emptying his lungs in rapid succession until he could breathe normally again.

“Jet,” he said, because he couldn’t think of anything else, struggling to keep himself upright when Jet’s arms wrapped around his shoulders. Aquamarine shook with the cold and fear, and something like quiet, relieved laughter, his emotions too jumbled up to make much sense. “Ow…”

He was in worse shape than he’d ever been. The wounds on his side from the creature’s antlers throbbed with every movement, not quite scabbed over and threatening to reopen with even minimal activity. An itchy layer of dried blood was in the process of flaking off of the side of his face courtesy of the wound on his head; beneath it, the skin was bruised from temple to cheekbone. His hair was greasy, matted, and bloody, his jacket torn and stained, and his cape was missing, except for the wads and strips of fabric used as makeshift bandages. He was pale from fatigue and blood loss, and so cold he could not stop shivering.

But Jet was alive. Everything else seemed inconsequential now that he knew for sure he wouldn’t be alone.

“Sorry,” Aquamarine said, mouth quirking into a small, tired smile. “‘M sorry.” He laughed again, not amused so much as he was completely overwhelmed by everything. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but… there’s not really a hospital here for me to go to.”

Palatine, Squire of Venus | Not attacking

Palatine shrugged. She felt useless not attacking, but there was too much commotion for her to do so safely, and she did feel bad for Oberon even if she didn’t entirely agree with him. No, she didn’t know what this creature was or why it brought them all here; maybe Oberon was right and it needed them for something, but it didn’t matter now. None of them could afford to remain here any longer, especially now that the creature was going berserk.

She stepped back with Sessrumnir, placing themselves out of range, watching to make sure the creature did not draw closer or do too much damage to their allies. At least she could heal the ones that needed it in the aftermath, even if she couldn’t do much for the time being.

“Maybe it didn’t kill anyone before, but it sure looks like it’s trying to now,” Palatine observed.

It was dangerous, whether Oberon wanted to believe so or not. Palatine couldn’t blame the others for wanting to kill it. That seemed to be the only way any of them were going to make it out of here. Palatine’s sense of self-preservation won out over her curiosity.

General Benitoite. 6+4+7

At least Wolframite was ready for whatever came their way - he needed that. They were going to have to face this beast head on and hope for the best, that was all they could do.

When Laven went to pull them out of the beasts way he shook his head and moved back towards the monster. "In order to attack it I'm going to have to be within range of it's attacks." Though he would do his best to avoid it's claws he knew he was risking getting hit, ad hard, by the beast but that as ok - he had a job to do.

Summoning his weapon back into his gloved hand he had a bit more difficulty in throwing it, since his arm and shoulder were injured and the first throw hadn't helped.

"The best we can do it injure it as much as we can before it really takes to trying to kill us." As if it wasn't already trying, as he had to avoid flying splinters as claws that were swinging. Falling to the ground it took him a while, too long, to haul himself back up onto his feet. "I hope to see him bleed out across the forest floor." Just a bit violent.

Super Sailor Nephthys: 9+9+3
Prompt 3

Seeing as the beast had become enraged, that was the only way she could describe it, the senshi of vampire's jumped back in order to avoid it's swinging hands as it's talons ripped into trees and sent splinters into the air. She wasn't into the idea of those claws tearing into her - not one bit. She could do without those injuries...that would be impossible to explain to her family.

So she did get back in order to avoid the beast, just missing a clawed hand, she felt the splinters from a near by tree sting as they buzzed across her skin and drew blood. Stumbling on her feet from another near miss with it's swinging claws she felt tje air move and with such force it pushed her back, stumbling, and she lost her balance and landed on her a**. This was not going to well...but they had to win and get out of here!
