Arkelos

PostPosted: Sun May 24, 2015 3:04 pm

Arkelos looks at the center of the Foyer to see an Abra sitting there. "Interesting, i might have to look into this pokemon and study it more. The Duskull is good, but i think i would enjoy this pokemon on standby for better traveling purposes."

"Poochyena, keep and eye on it. I believe it's a Psychic type as well." Poochyena grunts in approval.

Abra sits there as if not noticing their presence. Poochyena leaps forward with ferocity, just as he was about to land a blow, abra disappears. "What, errr, that was teleport. Where did it go?" just as Arkelos finished that sentence, Abra appears next to Poochyena. "Errr, this is going to be troublesome, Poochyena turn around and use bite." Poochyena turns to bite and just as bite lands they both disappear.

Suddenly Abra's teleport goes ballistic. Teleporting all over the place with poochyena still attached. After the 5th time Abra and Poochyena are back on solid ground to Arkelos' relief.

Poochyena lets go, Abra starts flinching.

"Alright here's my chance." Arkelos throws a Safari ball.

"ugh, failed, Poochyena use -" Poochyena was already in mid attack. "Poochyena wait! I have no choice. Capturing it would give space for Poochyena not to get hurt." Arkelos throws a Safari ball.

Arkelos sighs with relief. "Poochyena, you have to wait for me, you need to trust me. We'll work on that, Good job regardless." Arkelos looks down at the Duskball that holds the Duskull, "I guess this means good bye." Arkelos releases Duskull back into the Fun house. It slowly vanishes into a nearby wall.

Alright lets go home, the duo leaves.

Just as they leave one last pokemon bids them farwell.

Trish shrieked slightly when a Sewaddle descended from the ceiling and landed in her hair, flailing and whacking the insect out of her hair rather quickly. Seeing the dazed and mostly innocent bug laying on the ground, squirming about, Fuse looked at it, sniffed it innocently and went to help flip it back over after deciding it wasn't a threat. Until he received a Bug Bite to the snout. Yelping in pain, he threw his head back, launching Sewddle into the air, where the little Pokemon tried to conjure up a Silver Wind to blow itself a short distance away, where it could land safely but it was interrupted by the now upset Electrike it had attacked.

"Trike!" Fuse yelped, firing a Bursting Flame at the Sewaddle, who collided with the plasma ball despite it's best attempts to evade it. The bug plant burned quickly.

"I didn't want you to kill it..." Trish scolded, mourning the insect's fate.

"Addle!" A shot of sticky goop launched out of the floor and hit Trish in the face at this point, Sewaddle slowly becoming visible as i un-camouflaged itself from the ground before slinking away.

"EEEEEEEEWWWWW!" The girl shrieked once again, peeling the sticky mess from her face. "It's in my hair!" She whined to no one, picking the goop from her blonde follicles.

Trish was still peeling String Shot from her face when something new made an appearance as it passed through. "Huh....It exfoliates..." She noted of the white film she peeled from her flesh, noticing the specks of dark color all over it. It had apparently, drawn the impurities from her pores. "I might have just found a million dollar marketing scheme...." She said to herself, finally looking away from it, dropping the dirty silk on the ground and standing up at last. Upon standing she took note at long last of a slowly bobbing pink orb near the far exit of the room she currently inhabited.

"No thanks. I like my ham sandwiches to stand still." She said, denying the Spoink any chance at love. To further enforce that decision, Fuse shot a Charge Beam at Spoink, knocking it's pearl off it's head and ending the battle before it could start by sending the little pig off chasing after it's pearl

Turning on his high heel boots, Kain was met with a purple performer. A Grumpig in clown face paint. Why does something like this have to exist, he thought, the idea of such a natural creature bearing such a curse? it was an abomination, as it performed antics on a ball. That twisted face and ungodly red nose. No more! Kain whipped out his sword to his side, at a ready stance, "Fight me and I will lift you of your curse!". The Pig gave a confused look stepping down off its ball. "Ioch use aerial ace" He said in a sneer.

Ioch would burst out of Kain's hand slashing the air, throwing the Grumpig backwards. Falling on its back, it slid along the cold concrete. The Purple pig gave a brittle erk as it picked itself up, realizing its now in a fight. Letting out a 'Grumpig', it charged, using a thundering night slash. Ioch clanged on the ground, as his metal tip hit the hard ground. "Well than if it won't hold back neither will we. Ioch Use shadow claw!". The blood red blade would glow pruple as it cut down the purple pig, dropping it to the ground.

"Ioch return we will want to find another pokemon."

Kain would simply pat the night walking kitty, on his way to towards the haunted house, his best bet at something that would help him understand ghost Pokemon.

An Audino would creep out of the bush in vampire fangs and cape, all looking as if stolen from the dollar store. "Cute", kain said," But you'll have to better than that."

Trish wasn't paying all that much attention to the Vulpix following her around but apparently Fuse was proving his excessive levels of defensiveness. When the little Fire fox wouldn't just leave them alone, he turned and Spark'd it, hard. The Vulpix yelped and counterattacked with Payback, wanting to get even with the canine for it's hurtful actions. The Payback only reinvigorated Fuse, causing him to retaliate with a Charge Beam, the electric laser pushing Vulpix back despite it's efforts to resist and, eventually, it fell to the electrified onslaught.

Standing at the end of the hallway like a total creep, an Espurr stared blankly at Lynnette, standing completely still as it did so. Its eyes gleamed eerily in the dark, causing Lynnette to stop in her tracks for a moment. The Espurr would start to walk towards Lynnette, eyes forever unblinking. "Uhh... hi there Espurr. You're... you're not gonna hurt us, are you?" Lynnette would say, inching backwards slightly. Hook would jump out of his trainer's arms, growling at the Psychic type as a warning for it to back up. But the Espurr would keep its pace, walking ever so carefully towards the Fairy Pokemon. Pulling a Scary Face, Hook would attempt to scare off the Espurr, to no avail. The Restraint Pokemon would stare at Hook now instead of the Snubbull's trainer, stopping itself from walking any further. Even the Fairy Pokemon found itself somewhat disturbed by the Espurr, and he would stop growling for a moment to let out a soft whimper.

"A-are we gonna let this thing stop us? I don't think so! Hook, Headbutt!" Lynnette would call out, trying to work past feeling so disturbed. Hook would comply, rushing headfirst towards the Espurr. The tiny psychic type kitten would finally close its eyes for a moment and let out a breath, a Light Screen appearing in front of it that would stop Hook in his tracks momentarily, causing the Snubbull to glare at the Espurr. "Oh come on, don't let that stupid wall of light stop you. Hook would snort and return back to charging at the Espurr, finding that he was able to move through the light, seeing as it didn't seem to be an actual tangible force. The Espurr would see this coming though, sending out a Confusion attack to knock back Hook, its eyes glowing a faint purple as the attack occurred. Hook would slam against a nearby wall, growling out in pain before falling back to the floor. Lynn would find herself gritting her teeth. This Espurr was smarter than it looked at first glance. "Fine, it wants to play that way? Then I guess we'll have Play Rough a bit ourselves, won't we Hook?" Lynnette would say with a smirk. The Espurr had stopped focusing on Hook for the moment, returning its gaze to Lynn instead. Seeing this as his chance, Hook would rush toward the Espurr, smacking it directly in the side, causing the Restraint Pokemon to slide across the floor a little. Returning its focus to Hook, the Espurr would let out a Disarming Voice, which would cause the Snubbull to clutch at its ears, whimpering a little as the sound pierced his eardrums.

"Try another Play Rough. Just fight through that voice of theirs. I know you can do this Hook!" Lynnette would say, trying to cheer on her companion. Fighting through the pain, Hook would start beating on the Espurr again, hearing the other Pokemon let out a cry of pain though, he would stop, staring at the Espurr for a moment. Taking this opening, the Espurr would raise its ears ever so slightly and release a Psybeam, knocking back Hook again. The Snubbull would slam against the wall a second time, his breathing starting to sound a bit labored. Lynnette would cringe, understanding that her Pokemon was clearly in pain. "Hook, get it with a Bite! That should take it down." Also hearing Lynnette's orders, Hook didn't even have a chance to do as he was told before he was hit with another Disarming Voice. Rather than biting the Espurr now, Hook would knock it back pretty hard with a Payback. The Espurr would falter, falling to it's knees for a moment. Taking this as her chance, Lynnette would toss a Safari Ball at the Espurr.

Trish was turning to see what Fuse was doing when he looked up at her, blasting a ball of plasma just over the top of her head. Freezing in her tracks for a second, thinking her Pokemon was attacking her, she glared at the dog for several long, insinuating moments before a soft, squishy 'thud' forced her to turn her head. Seeing the charred carcass of an unconscious Sewaddle, she breathed a sigh of resignation and knelt down to pet the Electrike's head. "You done good, boy." She'd say, almost too politely. While it was true he had protected her from her typical female fear, he needed to learn restraint. This was something that troubled her.

The Espurr wouldn't even gice the Safari Ball a chance to come near it, knocking it away with a Disarming Voice. It would stand again, glaring now at both trainer and Pokemon. Lynnette would have a terrified look on her face, not having realized that the Espurr was going to be this resistant to her and Hook's efforts. "Now, actually use Bite this time Hook. No more fooling around. The Espurr, still staring at Lynnette, would whimper as Hook latched onto one of its ears, growling profusely as he did so. "Now, just keep it there. Another Safari Ball would go flying towards the Espurr, sailing through the air.

Blasting Hook back with another Psybeam, the Espurr would be able to dodge the Safari Ball once again. "Fine, be that way. Another Play Rough, Hook." The Snubbull would rush forward, pummeling the Espurr when he got close enough. The Restraint Pokemon would collapse, unable to fight back any longer. Now, Lynnette would think, this is my last chance. Lynnette would hold her breath and close her eyes tightly as she tossed the last Safari Ball at the Espurr, hoping that maybe if she didn't watch what was happening that the capture would succeed.
PostPosted: Sun May 24, 2015 7:09 pm

Although the ball would succeed in ensnaring its target this time, the Espurr would break free. It would shake its head sadly before running off. Lynnette would slump to the ground, watching the retreating back of the Restraint Pokemon. Hook would limp towards his trainer, climbing into the girl's lap. "Guess we got outsmarted this time, eh, Hook?" Lynnette would say with a sad smile. The girl wasn't too upset though, there would be other opportunities. "C'mon Hook, let's get out of this place," Lynnette would say, scooping the Snubbull into her arms before she stood up to leave. The Espurr would be watching the two from a distance, grinning stupidly as trainer and Pokemon left. Maybe it would see them another time.

When a Duskull emerged from the ground beneath Sewaddle, Trish shrieked for the third time in this contest. "OHMYGODYOUKILLEDIT!" She wailed, certain this was the vengeful ghost of a Pokemon her own had murdered in cold blood. So focused on Duskull she was that she never even noticed the blackened the worm slowly inching away from the crime scene, snickering under it's breath at the current turn of events. It couldn't have asked for better pay back than something like this.

Fuse, however, being familiar with the species due to their shared home home region, knew it to be another Pokemon and proved so by lunging in with it's body crackling, landing a Spark on the Ghost-type. Duskull countered with Shadow Sneak, creeping up on the Electrike rather quickly and counter attacking with a shadow-enshrouded tackle from the netherworld.

Fuse began to limp at this point, his energy beginning to truly wane at last. Using what he had left, he fired a Charge Beam at Duskull, knocking it into a funhouse mirror when it made to dodge the attack. Turning to look at what had blocked it's movement, it saw it's own, distorted reflection, scared itself witless and fainted on the spot.
