Wilson looked up when someone decided to assist him in pushing the chair against the growing barricade. He smiled politely at the stranger. "Thanks."
For some strange reason, he raised his arm to try and highfive the girl, but ended up slapping someone else instead.
His face flushed red and he walked backwards, mumbling apologies before turning around and shuffling to a new spot. Yup. That was the way to go.

SHU GOT a GLOWING STICK!
[ GET A TORCH ]
She went back from the trek, injured and tired, but the first thing the kind-hearted girl did when she arrived with a comfy brand-new underwear was to find her horse back. The wound on the shoulder still bleeding, she began her search. Yet, she was stopped by someone holding rolls of bandage past by and grabbed her on her arm. "Hey you," he said, "you need to get treatment on your wound, it's bleeding." The momentum made some of the bandages rolled away, but his attention was on her. She explained the whole thing, including she got bitten by a wolf, hands abraded with the sharp branches in an avalanche, etc. He kindly helped her bundled her hands and gave her some advice as her senior.
It was quite a good time, until someone yelled for attention. "Oh damn. They're coming." The knight with her cursed when the two looked outside for the panic clamour. A black mass of something came from the sky -
- It was a perfect fine day in the morning, the appearance of the shadows took the warm lightness from them. It wrecked the smiles on their faces and created a horrified mask for everyone -
"Hey, are you alright?" The gentle male voice asked, putting a hand onto her uninjured shoulder. "I already wrapped up all your wounds, you should be good to fight." He assured the knight apprentice. "I'm gonna grab my armor, take this, you sure you'll be okay?" He gave her a torch, the smile lit by the warm color of the flame eased her anxiety just a tad. She nodded and smiled back. "Take care, see you later."
Amy nearly jumped when she was grabbed by some one, about to give them a piece of her mind until they apologized. "Oh Im sorry!" the girl left before she could offer to help. she shrugged before reaching blindly to grab something for the door only to gab something that was DEFINITELY not a piece of furniture.
"Oh! Goodness Im sorry!"

She keeps it this way to keep it out of her way when training. Otherwise she wears it free. Her height is about 5'4 with a tanned bronze skin tone that comes from being in the sun far too much. She's usually pretty crass and vocal when the situation calls for it, otherwise she will appear to be everything a proper lady should be. Basically, you push her, she WILL punch you in the face while trying to make sure she doesn't get any blood on her uniform. :']

Of course, that brought on exactly how that might be the case, if it were true. Grimacing a bit, he spotted some training supplies. Swiftly, he made his way over and added that to the growing pile.

He was grim faced. "Their timing is certainly impeccable. I have a feeling these events are linked, if not directly resulted from something the king did. At the same time, if something happened, surely the Knights would tell us as soon as they can verify it..."
Another man might have found some levity in the fact that he still bumped into Shun while searching in the wreckage for something to toss to the pile. Jack just started considering looking into a recent invention called focals...
(But what idiot would prance out onto the field with glass near their eyes?)
"It's hard to swallow that a whole legion could have crept upon us like this, though. Someone should have had forewarning."

"Thanks." She gave him a nod in appreciation. For lighting her torch and the little bit of advice. Meixiang would have to make sure not to slap or punch anyone in the dark. As long as they didn't run up on her she was sure she could avoid such a thing.
Now that her torch was lit she glanced around. Ballistas weren't her forte so she'd stick to reinforcing the door. Grabbing a chair, she shoved it against the pile of stuff that was already there. It seemed like an adequate barricade but one could never have enough reinforcement.

The smack came as a surprise.
She had only just got here. Was helping to secure the door. Warned about watching herself. And then she, out of the blue, was getting a smack herself. Though she supposed it was only a matter of time before it would happen. Meixiang had just hoped it wouldn't happen so soon. Like five minutes in soon.
Rubbing her cheek, she quickly turned to her assailant with a slightly frown. "Might want to save that for the enemy." She grabbed a food crate and added it to the pile.

Hey, light!
He wasn't used to light suddenly showing up without his intervention, so turning and looking over his shoulder, a sweet little lady-knight was offering him a little movable light source. Giving her a soft little smile, he nodded his head softly to her, lifting his hands to softly calm her down.
"No need to panic, want to come help us? You would be of great assistance!" He stated to her, before looking up to the other gentlemen with him. The big one gave him compliments! He probably looked like a puppy who just got a compliment. Tail wags and whatnot.

"I like to think there's a big man hiding inside this little gangly body I was blessed with." He joked, before going to put the young lady's arm within his own, before following Wrath as they walked.
"Wrath, Dirge, a pleasure, I'm Eldrid, and this is . . . " He trailed, because he never got her name.

He looked around for scraps for a torch. The stick he picked up wasn't much...but it would do. Finding nothing to wrap to light around it nearby he wandered off and smiled. A worn out table cloth alright. That works...now...to light it. He had only one flint with him and prayed it would work....
He didn't think it would. With a worried glance around he spotted a young male. Walking over he cleared his throat.
"Excuse me. Mind helping me light this thing?" he asked hoping he was coming off correctly.
