Having had quite enough of this nonsense now, Shun waited a moment before practically maiming the elf with his blades. Finally, it dissipated, leaving him free to move on his own.

This was much too close for comfort. But.. just... a little more... He grit his teeth and continued to swing the blades.

"Yes, better than before." He assured her and gave her an appreciative smile. At least now he didn't feel as though he was going to drop down and pass out. Though his legs and skin ached from all the damage he had accumulated over the recent events and drastic climate changes.
"Its..? Looks like Julie, yes.." He confirmed, speaking her thoughts aloud. But it wasn't Julie. Whatever it was, it was creepy. Just as the elf tugging at him was.
It was already a chore to stand, but when something was prodding and tugging at him constantly, it was making what should be a simple task more difficult than it already was. No matter, something this small shouldn't be too much of a problem. Then again, who was he kidding. Being a regular human, he was currently the weakest creature here. Well, him and Kat that was.
Even knowing that, he moved to hit it. But as he suspected, between the creature's own speed and him still feeling the after effects of the cold, he missed it entirely. Fortunately for him, Wilson swooped in to save the day.
"The worst." He snorted in response. Regardless, he was glad to see his friends again.
Kintama did not like how he was currently being abused for Ariane's amusement... Even if she was also trying to free herself from certain doom. One more painful bop on the head for the elf later, it vanished, leaving Ariane a free woman. She grinned, pumping her fist into the air.
"Scooooooore!"

OFELIA IS ATTACKING THE BOSS
boss cumulative damage 32
There was Sherry, Ofelia felt a bit relieved, and the teen went on somehow trying to attack. She needed really to keep a distance, and so an idea came into her head. Taking part of her bandage off she tied it around Rue's middle handle and swung it, using her weapon like a blade on a chain.
It worked, Rue .5 came back to her hand, and she'd done damage. That was more than enough for the teen. "Ah'm okay Cherry, don't worry 'bout me. Keep yer focus on the thing ahead'a us an' we'll do jus' fine." She noticed there was something else attacking, a student perhaps, and Ofelia turned to try and see if she could find who it was.

Perhaps Ryan would be able to imagine the roll of Wilson's eyes as his head shifted slightly. "I'm glad to hear it," he sarcastically retorted while kicking the elf in the head. Too bad it still refused to budge. "I'm glad you're still alive, though. As soon as the portal closed I figured..."
Ami shook her head at the girl hunter. "No, no you're welcome. You're always welcome Kat." She hissed as an elf dragged her closer, but bashed it on the head with her pistols.
"We'll talk later, okay?" she said, trying to focus on too many things at once.
Something about the strangeness of the atmosphere had been leeching the bloodthirst out of him little by little. He was still angry, he still wanted revenge, but he was fighting it. Fighting the urge to stare straight ahead. Something pink had been dragged into view of Aymet. He pulled off an armored arm for a quick boomerang strike at the creature that pulled her.
Ying couldn't help it. Her feet dragged her towards her brother, elf or not. Mostly because in this throng of people, with how far away he was she kept losing sight of him.
"Curse my height!" she shouted, as she knocked another arrow. She wouldn't permit this. Three arrows went into her bow this time. Ying didn't have time for this bullshit.
Ren's expression shifted, giving a snarl as he was pulled several steps forward, his wings flapping to try and stop the momentum from the elf tugging at his legs.
"You have no right to lecture me," he snapped, glowering at the black dog. "Like you ever tell me everything about yourself, you don't even want to get to know me."
Something twanged inside of Ren's head, a whisper of a memory, of a face, a chilling voice - his father's voice -
He shook his head sharply, pushing the memories away.
"There are just some things better left in the dark, Tybalt."
Tseng might have just been pulling things out of his butt right now.

Things were quickly getting out of hand as far as leon could tell. the fog that sunk in reminded him of bad times, times where he and Madison were toughing it out.
and she was not anywhere near him. "MADISON? Can you hear me?" he called out, ripping off the ghost elf things that tried to tug at him.
It was all in vain, he refused to be budged. that was until they got wise and used the almighty power of elf teamwork and shove. "hey what the hell?" he called out, taking the bump in stride before knocking down the wall of elves behind him.
"Stupid things."

Deryk was in danger, that's all Ofelia needed to know, and she swung Rue .5 around enough to send it towards the creature. The blades connected, the elf vanished in a puff of whatever, and the death hunter was safe now. "Go after the boss Deryk!" Ofelia practically shouted from where she was.
