Chad was both patient and eager to hear what Kadaj had to say. Something told Chad that he had a feeling that whatever Kadaj said, it would be something he was keeping from Chad, maybe about his past or something. He decided to try and not pry anything out of Kadaj though since Kadaj had seemed to have it pretty rough growing up.
Chad brought his mind back to the Pokémon and watched as Nincada was trying to convince the Poochyena about something or another. Chad couldn’t really tell what since he didn’t exactly speak the language of Pokémon, although if he had to guess, he would say that Nincada was trying to convince Poochyena that it had gotten stronger and could defeat Nincada if the two had gotten in another fight.
As Kadaj mumbled something else though, Chad faced towards him, practically leaning in as Kadaj had finally said what it was that had been troubling him, that he was gay. “You’re gay…” Chad whispered to himself before staring at Kadaj in slight fascination. “That’s cool!” Chad pointed to the Pokémon before speaking again, “Hey, I think Nincada is trying to convince Poochyena that he’s strong or something. I don’t know if it’s going to work, but maybe we could help out if you’re up for it.”

  Kadaj continued to cringe, even after Chad had said that it was cool. He didn’t know why though, Kadaj sort of just thought that everything wouldn’t be okay, but it seemed like Chad couldn’t care less what Kadaj was or rather, is. “Y-Yeah, okay.” Kadaj got up and fumbled with the pockets on his shirt for a moment while staring at the Pokémon talking to each other in the field.
It’s funny how Kadaj had just revealed his darkest, most deep secret and the Pokémon couldn’t care less at this point and by the looks of it, neither could Chad. That was actually confusing to Kadaj though. “Wait, dude, I’m gay, doesn’t that bother you or something? Do you want to ask me any questions about it?” Now that the fear of the situation had subsided, Kadaj was left with a feeling of relief, so it was okay to be more open about himself. He almost felt like at this point, he could tell Chad almost anything about himself. “Are you gay? I don’t think you are, but since I laid myself out there, I just thought I might ask.” Kadaj bit his bottom lip, now more interested in talking to Chad than he was the Pokémon at this moment.

Chad stepped over to the Pokémon and watched carefully to make sure that they didn’t attack each other or something of the sort. To be honest, he really wasn’t sure what to expect from the two since they could be violent one moment and then calm the next, they could very well be brothers if Chad had to compare them to humans. Of course, that was clearly impossible though since one was a bug while the other was a dark-type. “Aw, look, they’re talking Kadaj!”
Chad wasn’t really paying attention to the facial expressions that Kadaj was probably making, but if he did pay attention, he could’ve picked up on a couple insecurities still left within him. Chad redirected his attention to Kadaj though after he asked his plethora of questions for Chad to answer. “Why would it bother me Kadaj? I’m not one to judge others in case you haven’t noticed. Be who you are and no, to answer your other question, I don’t have any more questions for you.” Chad smiled in a friendly manner, but allowed his face to grow rather thoughtful as Kadaj mentioned his last question, if Chad was gay. “Do I look gay? I’m not gay, but I’m not straight either. I just go with the person that keeps me happy because isn’t it the goal of life to find happiness?” Chad was no philosopher, so he decided to leave it at that.

Kadaj could’ve sworn that what he heard was heaven to his ears. All he had to do was become the man that Chad couldn’t live without and then boom, mission accomplished. However, to be honest with himself, he wasn’t on the right track by being so conceited and vein about things. Kadaj would have to fix his attitude if he wanted to ever have the honor of being Chad’s number one.
Just thinking about changing for someone else though was kind of revolting. He never wanted to be the kind of guy that would be willing to change for others, but now that he’d met Chad, he was beginning to understand why other people were willing to do it. Until he met Chad, his life was rather dry in terms of interest. No one had gotten to him without trying like Chad had. He was a friend turned love interest all in the course of a single day. “Yeah, that makes sense dude.” Kadaj turned his attention back to the Pokémon as to act like he wasn’t so obsessed with Chad, “So Poochyena, how are you feeling?” Poochyena stood up and began to bark happily. Perhaps Poochyena was able to pick up on his masters mood and change his according to how his master was feeling. That would certainly be something strange.

Chad smiled, having clearly brought up Kadaj’s mood in a way that made Chad feel somewhat special about the situation. The facts still remained though, Chad had just revealed a thing about himself that he never thought he’d ever tell anyone else in his life. It was a bit strange when he thought about it, but if he forced himself not to think about it, then he felt just fine, like nothing had changed and everything was going smoothly between the Poochyena and Nincada that were working things out only several feet away.
As Kadaj stood up, Chad did as well and instead of following Kadaj, he walked over to his Nincada and picked it up before placing it on his shoulder. “Good job Nincada, I knew I could count on you!” Chad gave thumbs up to Nincada, he replied with a curt nod of its head. As a reward, Chad decided to let the Pokémon stay out of its Pokeball for the time being and allow it to rest on Chad’s shoulder. “So are you ready to keep walking? We still have a long road ahead of us and if we want to get there by, I’d say about midnight now, then we should head out.” Chad laughed at how convenient these detours were starting to become.

Kadaj decided to follow Chad’s lead in letting his Pokémon stay out of its Poke-ball. There wasn’t any real reason to withdraw it anyways since it seemed like Poochyena was making do with simply being by the side of its trainer. Kadaj on the other hand, was beginning to wish he had the power to read other people’s minds; at least that way, he would be able to find out what Chad was thinking right now about everything that had just happened. However, the truth of the matter was that Chad didn’t seem too disturbed by what just happened compared to how Kadaj was reacting. It was a bit too much to handle at times, but Kadaj didn’t want to seem like the type of person who was clingy, so he bit his bottom lip and followed Chad out to the road.
He looked down to his Poochyena who seemed to be a bit happier than normal which was a good thing since a happy Pokémon made for a good travelling companion. “So I guess the only thing we have to do now is make it to Vormund City and then we can be one step closer to the gym leader who would be the normal type chick?”

Naano had finally made it, but none of the other trainers were here. Hm, they must have all left already...looks like I'm on my own here....
She walked to the nearest pokemon center to heal her eevee. Still feeling bad about tricking the poor thing, she decided that she'd feed her some nice sweet berries to gain back her trust.
"You're Pokemon's all healed up! I hope to see you soon!" said the nurse as she handed Naano her pokeball. "Oh, thanks so much!" she said as she took back her eeve. But what a strange thing to say....why would she hope to see me soon? Does she want my pokemon to be injured? She didn't dwell on it anymore, Nurse Joy was probably just being polite.
As soon as she got outside, she let out her eevee. "Eeeeve~!" said the little fluff ball. "Aren't you a cutie?" She smiled "what should I name you?"
The eevee looked up at her "Eeeve?' Naano gigged. "I feel like Eve is a tad too expected. How about, Eva?" The eevee bounced around eagerly. She seemed to like the name, as well as forgive Naano for the berry incident.
"Well" she began "we might as well head on~!"

Selphie allowed herself to breath for once after she had exited the Pokémon Rehabilitation place. She’d practically been taking short and shallow gasps after thinking about what could’ve went wrong with her Pokémon Deino. It didn’t seem like a kind Pokémon when it was in the sanctuary, but now that it was officially Selphie’s, it seemed to have lost a lot of its wild attitude. “Come out Deino.” Selphie extended her right arm, which contained her Pokémon inside of its Pokeball, and it emerged the moment she did. “Dddeino!” Selphie smiled as she watched her new Pokémon look around curiously at the town. “This is called Willowcove Village. I only came here to get a Pokémon, but where we really need to be is Paysage Town so that we can take on the first gym leader, so without further delay, follow me.”
Selphie walked to the outskirts of the village, walking loudly so that Deino could follow the sounds of her feet since it didn’t have very wonderful eye-sight. “Here we are, the outskirts of Willowcove Village! Now that we’re here, we’re going to need to find a partner to help us in battles right?” Deino nodded, still confused about what was going on since he had truthfully just become someone’s Pokémon, so naturally he was trying to adjust to the change.
Allowing her eyes to roam around, Selphie spotted a Pidgey pecking around on the ground. “Alright Deino, there’s a Pidgey! We’re going to catch it okay?” Deino nodded and faced the sound of the pecking coming from the ground and then waited for a command from Selphie. “Now let’s surprise attack it, use Dragon Rage!” Deino opened his mouth and a large beam of bluish energy rushed forth, striking the Pidgey and slamming it into a tree, causing it to struggled back to its feet. “Alright, now use slam!” As the Pidgey tried to get back to its footing, Deino slammed into it, forcing it back to the ground in a head of damage. “Finish this with a tackle!” Deino got off of the Pidgey and rushed into on final time.
“Okay, now I’m going to throw a Pokeball at it!” Selphie pulled a Pokeball from her pocket and tossed it at the knocked out Pidgey, hoping that this would be her first catch that was in the wild.

 Rex Tsukami Rex walks around the Village with his Pokeball in his hand. He tosses the pokeball out and Techno comes out. Techno jumps onto Rex's shoulders and sat down. "for someone that just burnt himself out you can still have quite some energy" He said looking over at Techno on his shoulder. Techno gave Rex what looked like a thumbs up to him. "when we get to a city were get you some little headphones for you so you don't burn mine out. they were expensive, i had to DJ for weeks to get them." Techno responded "Ele!" when he heard that from Rex. Rex turned on his music with his headphones around his neck so they both could hear the music. Techno started to dance a little and small sparks came from the top of his head. "Hey careful there don't want to over it do it again or you might end up burning up both out" he chuckled and so did Techno as the pokemon took it easy. "were get you to a center so you can get back to full health and we can call mom so she knows we have a new member of the family." They walked off towards Vormund City Current Team Techno

"Hello. How might I help you?" asked Nurse Joy. Ryan walked up to the counter, resisting the urge to frown. He placed Riolu's Pokeball on the table. The Nurse took it and placed it down in a strange machine. Ryan drifted away again, thinking of nicknames for Riolu. First, he needed to know if it was a girl or boy...most likely a boy, since it was so resilient when it was getting caught... perhaps Lucas? Lucifer, even? Hmm...
"Sir? Sir" Nurse Joy reached her hand to poke Ryan on the cheek. His arm shot up and he grabbed her fingers. She yelped and pulled away, dropping Riolu's pokeball in surprise. "Don't touch me." Ryan grabbed Riolu's pokeball and walked away, still thinking of nice nicknames.
Maybe he'd think of something by the time he got to Vormund.

Madeline picked up the ball and left the lab. She walked through Willowcove quickly. No point in being here... She thought. As she entered the route between Williowcove and Vormund she ran into a wild starly. "Starrrr!!!" The tiny bird charged. "Go Grigcheux!!" With a flash her Snubbull appeared. "Nub Nub!!!" He growled. "My apologizes for before little one, please forgive me?" She said innocently. He blushed and nodded. "Now Thunder Fang!!" Snubbull charged the bird and bit down with a thunderous force. It instantly freaked the pokemon and caused it to flee. Maddie giggled. "Oui Oui! Incroyable!!" She picked him up and kissed his nose. "On to Vormund lilttle Gri!" She said.

 Bambi & Bit Libretto Bambi sat on the bench and looked over to her brother as he fluffed Brightlyn's wool with a static-absorbent brush. Bambi leaned back against the tree looming behind them petting Volte's head lovingly. The short blue haired girl giggled when Volte licked her hand in approval. "So...are we finally going to decide our path in life here...or are we going to do nothing like back home?" after a pause where Bit said nothing she giggled again, "You know I'm only teasing you little brother...but, I do hope that you go after your dream of being a Groomer one day....""You first..." Bit's low voice mumbled from beneath his scarf. Brightlyn's wool was almost brushed out, the small sheep-like Pokemon was perfectly content with the attention. Bambi blinked before shooting a mock-glare at her twin, "Oh, yeah...Pokemon Musician...like that isn't cliche for someone from our family...ha."Bit smirked even though his sister couldn't see him, the male finished with Brightlyn then took Volte from Bambi. She giggled as the Shinx blinked puzzledly before seemingly puuring when Bit started brushing it as well. "So easy to please, aren't you boys...?" Bambi cooed scratching Brightlyn under the chin. ╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” Seth was walking outside of the Pokemon Refuge and saw that there was really no one around so he desided it would just be best to move along but he took the Friend Ball off of his Jacket and threw it creating a red orb that then took the form of his new pokemon Razor.
"Hello there Razor". Razor looked at him looking kind of tired still but looked ready to fight "haha you are a spunky little pokemon arn't you..." Razor looked at Seth "Pawn Pa paw! pawni..." it seemed as if the little pokemon wanted to fight something else by his reactions "Lets go see if i cant fill that thirst of yours huh?"
