Lumikki watched wearily. This creature it was going to let them go home if they gave up the fragments. But why should she trust him, all she knew he just wanted the fragments and wouldn't actually let them go home, what if it kept them there while it ran off with her new found friends?! Finally speaking up, "How can we trust you...how do we know you wont just run off with my pre...our fragments and then leave us here?"Yes good save don't let anyone know how attached you are to the small items. They might try and take it away from her. Tikaanis tilted her head. Mirror fragments. Of course the owl must have been talking about the shards they'd found. Tikaanis had one on her self and for a moment considered giving it up blindly. But hearing a fox like mini speak up made her consider. "I'm in agreement. What guarentee do we have that you'll return us?" The headphoned mini took a stubborn seat. She wasn't about to give her fragment up so easily with out some kind of assurance. That a girl Tikaanis ~ Piss off that owl !Tikaanis wasn't sure if Atti was trying to be supportive or trying to make her doubt her self. Either way, the teen felt both proud of her choice yet doubted it as well. "Why do you need them?" She finally asked as well. Atti was cackling in the back of her mind like some one watching their favorite sit com. Lumikki turned to hear another mini speak up. Was that a student? Or a mini...did it want to keep her shards too? Keeping an eye on the mini she slowly tried to move so she could see both the mini and the owl asking for the shards, "yeeeessss....watch all your enemies"Nodding to the voice that only she could hear. Growling at the fact that Julian wasn't here, the fragment was true to her unlike that owl, blinking a few times unsure where that thought actually came from but knowing deep down it was the shard because it showed her the truth. It was her only friend and she would not give it up to some stinken owl. An owl? Sherry...didn't quite know what to make of how things were going. Unusual indeed. Of course not. I wouldn't forget. It just...keeps getting stranger. Strange as it was getting, Sherry had heard what the owl said. "Home," she repeated. So...he wanted mirror shards. The crystal pieces? And then he would let them go home? "I suppose I could give up the fragment in order to return home," she said, more to herself than anything. Bunny ears twitched as others began voicing questions and concerns. They raised good points. So far, this seemed to be their best lead on getting home. But nothing was ever that easy. Sherry had been a trainee long enough to know that. So, she sat back, and waited to hear an answer. Tori had watched the other battle the dragon as she kept her distance from it. She was still unsure that she liked battling without the use of her weapon since that was any type of fighting she had ever done in her life. For her weapon he had like to see his Hunter fight without him helping and thought it might do her good to do more. Now really confused to when the dragon hasn’t attacking back as it fell down to the ground. To see it was an owl that had gotten out of the debris and she could see that he had had used a paper cutout to what Tori thought to scare them off or something. I will, Tori said to her weapon. It did sound nice about going home, but just how the owl had said that he might consider it didn’t sound all that good since the owl could possible just not do that even if she paid up. She didn’t really trust that owl and had to agree with the others had said to the owl. Tori made sure to keep her distance from the owl but to keep in ear shot. As for right now Tori wanted keep the shards for herself wondering why the owl wanted them so bad. Leo had been slightly slow to arrive at the tower, and as a result she only caught the tail-end of the fight with the shadow dragon. Which was probably for the best, for despite the fact that she was seemingly more useful in battle as a minipet than as a mare, she was already feeling a bit ragged and wasn't too sure she'd have survived the fight. And sure, they'd just reappeared nearby each time they blacked out, but that wasn't a guarantee that that would keep happening. Maybe there was a limit on how many times you could disappear and reappear, who know? She could just as easily wake up somewhere far away, stuck as a frutten for the rest of her life, doing frutten-y things. And wouldn't that be fun. But this... owl?... wanted their fragments in return for sending them home? Thumbs up, Leo was more than ready to go home by now. "You'll send us back? You can definitely have my fragment then!" Screw making sure the owl could even hold up his end of the deal, she wanted to go home.

Ofelia was saved from an onslaught of claws and vitriol by the appearance of an owl.
Harrison hissed at the owl too.

Tikaanis felt a little bit better about her choice to hold on to the fragment a little longer seeing as more minis were also hesitant. Aggression was picked up but Tikaanis wrote that off to the fact they were probably agitated being stuck in mini form so long. The mist hunter kept her post and sat straight awaiting for an answer. She was with Harisson on this one, she growled at the owl as it even DARED suggest giving up her treasure. Her reason at existing. "Dont think so feather brain." Did frinny's have sharp teeth? Rep, once the battle was over, simply stood and eyed the owl distantly, wishing there was still something to attack and forget.
He had no shards so had nothing to offer to get a pass to home.

Jerry shifted, still trying to get his bearings as he digested both owls's words. The bigger owl seemed the most important to concentrate on. He ruffled his feathers, plucking out his own shard from where it hid before bobbing forward, "Whassa' harm?" He mumbled throug his full beak. He wasn't effected like the others, he had no reason to hoard the precious. But if this guy thought he could help them all get back home and back to normal? Fine by him. He nervously hopped away from Rin towards the half-blind owl, holding his shard out in his beak hopefully. Quote: JerryHP: 30/30 Element: Fire: - Once per battle you may roll 1d6. The owl wanted the shard? Shun let out a hiss after he righted himself back up. "You aren't taking it. I'm not giving it to you," he said lowly. The owl might have more of these fragments. Just how were they gonna get by the owl then? Ofelia noticed a few people were offering up shards and. . .well, the only one she had was inside her chest. She didn't really know how that would work (did it want her fragment maybe?) and she coughed up the fragment she'd stored inside her cheeks. Being a kushi-kushi with cheeks of storing amazing seemed to come in handy more often than not, and she waddled over towards the owl with the fragment in hand. It was hard to do since she had a bum leg still and. . .was sort of floating back and forth on the ground.
She was also still very much male but that was beside the point. Being male, being female, it didn't matter since both had stub tails and both had amazing cheek pockets. Ahhh, good times.
