Fully Tamed and Powered up!
Lumi grumbled about having to go down the mountain side, why in earth would she have decided that starting near the cliffs was a good idea. After a significant amount of time she found herself in a wide open field.
"Ah this is more like it! I can see much better here"
As she started to look around she could see a very odd beast running past, the tails looked very familiar. As she turned to give chase she realised that she had such a delay in reaction that she had lost sight of the beast. It took her some time to try and track it down with other means.
Coming closer to the beast Lumi grinned slightly she knew better than to let her confident be over run but this was going to be easy right. After a intense battle between her and the beast she created she finally managed to outsmart it and triumph.
"AHHA!"
She jumped up and down in triumph, as she did so she noticed the beast bowing its head, fulling acknowledging her.
"Oh...well....hi?"
She started to say before finding herself back in the class room. Looking around she wondered if that really just happened.

Israfel was still excited, enthusiasm not going to fade anytime soon if his grin that was now ongoing to the third day was anything to go by. As he felt like he was falling down, the siren let out several chirps of worry, wings flapping frantically for nonexistent wind. When he came back to reality? He was grinning again.
He was in the painting. He was IN the PAINTING.
As the bamboo rusteled around him, he listened to the teacher's words. Tame the beast? But he'd made it so happy and fluffy and- he didn't want to make it sad. Maybe it liked being free. Looking around he shrugged. "BEASTYYYY~~~~~"

Tamed and Ready!
Having to get out of the forest proved a little more than troublesome. He'd hit himself no less than twice in the face by running into a reed. He'd also made the mistake of flying into one. Bamboo forests were hard. Pulling out was hard. Once free from the forest however, it gave Israfel a chance to stretch his wings. Now to just find his beasty bestie~
Chriping and 'flying' through the painting, he noticed a smiling ball of blooby fluff. Totally his beast. "PUFFINS". Israfel had named it already. Though it moved away, he landed on top of it, grinning. "HI!" He chirped. "HIHIHIHIHI!!!!"
The battle didn't exist, he beast just smiled and purred under Israfel.

Walking into the third day of class, Ev repeated the same process she had the days prior. Giving her respect to the mentor's up front, and headed for her seat. She was curious of the lack of tables, but didn't have too much time to really ponder over it as she was suddenly sucked into the scroll that she'd just been staring at. Looking around curiously, she was perplexed by the setting she was in.
Right on a cliff of a towering mountain. It was surprising to say in the least, causing her root legs to unravel and grip the ground firmly. For support. She listened to the voice of her professor, head tipping upwards as if looking to the 'heavens'. Tame the best she'd made? What an interesting concept! Well, she didn't want to waste any precious time!

Ugh! Failed Tame!
Unfortunately for the ghoul, her trek to find the creature she'd made was not at all as successful as she had hoped it to be. It seemed she wasn't cut out for this... but she did manage to wrangle in the beast... against it's will. It was disheartening to say in the least, but.. it'd been done. With her requirement done, she gave her respects to the mentor's, and took her leave.

The change in class was noted, but only barely. The scroll replaced the desks, all the little beasties decorating the brilliant and beautiful landscape. As the professor announced they had to tame the beast, she was too busy staring at the scroll to really understand what was being said until it was too late.
She was in the painting. Painterly style, and somehow on a cliff.
Fantastic

Tamed and Ready!
The trip down the cliff was survived, but barely. She slipped, slid and fell on her way down, embedding several little stones in her body, a few sticks sticking out of her stitches. But eventually she rolled out from the cliff and onto the grassy field, so happy to be out of the painted stones. Now began the search to find King Blob of Blobness; it didn't take long, except...
It was running. Away from her. Noooooooo---------
"NOOOOO COME BACK!" She whined, booking it after her beastie. It ran, she ran. It ran faster, she ran faster. Eventually she had it cornered (against the edge of the forest, oddly enough), and the battle ensued. Blob of blobness against stone-and-stick damaged patchwork.
She won, but barely. Still...it was a win.

Finding Where She Landed
Hel had to admit it was pretty cool seeing all their beasts together on the scroll…
What wasn’t cool at first was the feeling of being sucked forward and transported somewhere magical. The ghoul let out a startled yelp as she tumbled, a feeling of panic welling up until she seemed to land on something solid. Hel immediately leapt to her feet, looking around. She was…in a painting? She looked at her hands. She was a painting.
Oh dear Jack. Just wait until she told Mot.
Listening to the instructions though, the reaper shook off the surprise and her face set into a grim, determined expression. She had a job to do. First thing first. Get off this cliff…
She wished she was put in the bamboo forest. Heights admittedly worried her now that she didn’t have wings.

Tamed and Ready!
There was some slight hesitation on the ghoul’s part. Having her wings taken off, you had a new outlook on things such as height, since you couldn’t overcome it easily. It took some time, but she managed to climb down the mountain. She needed to do what she was instructed after all…she…needed to tame the beast she created yesterday? Was it…really real?
Once at the bottom, she approached a herd…and well, she knew her own work! Hel picked out the beast that was hers, and eager, she started to chase after it. She ended up losing sight of it though amongst the environment and other beasts. Luckily (or unluckily), she was a stubborn ghoul, and she caught up to it eventually.
Now. To battle it in true Valkyrie fashion.
Hel lunged at her beast with a battle cry, and immediately reached out to grab its horns, where she then tried to wrestle it to the ground. That’s right. It needed to be dominated. As a beast created by herself though, it was proving to be a worthy opponent, and wasn’t going down without a fight. The valkyrie felt something akin to…pride, but also frustration, as she needed to conquer it and it didn’t seem to want to be conquered. After some time, the valkyrie was able to secure her footing, and then a twist of her torso, forced the creature down to the ground.
It stared up at her for a long moment before dipping its head…and even wagging it tail a bit. Hel paused, and then grinned softly, reaching out to give the beast a pat on the head. It would be all she did for now though, as she found herself outside the painting after.
…
Huh. She stared at the painting for a bit longer, then down at her hands, and then left for the day.

Riley was not surprised to be pulled into the painting again on their last day of classes, but when she stood, she was a little surprised to see her elephant had been harnessed. She reached up and tried to pet it's long trunk, but it pulled away unhappily. She still hadn't tamed it, and by the loud huff of air it blew at her, that much was clear. So had to try and tame a wild beast using this elephant, who wouldn't be doing anything she said without a fight.
She was doomed to fail before she'd even begun.
Despite her imminent failure, Riley was determined to perform the task her professors had given her. Whether she succeeded or failed was not the goal of the task - it was simply the attempt that mattered. So she grabbed the harness of her elephant, and began to pull the beast forward, headed for the closest wild ink animal she could find.
She soon found herself face to face with a bull. If mere size were enough to determine who would win in a fight, it was assured that her elephant would win - but she knew better than to think size was everything. She patted the elephant on it's rear to send it charging off at the bull, and secretly named it Herryk, as it stubbornly ran forward and bashed into the bull's waiting horns.
Both beasts sustained heavy injuries, but the bull took as much as it gave, and Riley tried very hard not to root for it instead.

There was little left to do but watch her elephant back up and bash into the bull, over and over. He had no special tactics, no quick moves, no lightning reflexes - but neither did the bull, whose only defense was to bash just as hard, right back at it. She could have tried to coerce her elephant to do something special, but - let's face it, she was working with an elephant. Riley just hoped it would eventually have the bull's head under it's hooves, and then the fight would be over. But instead, the two of them had a very obstinate fight, where they charged one another, slammed heads and tusks and horns, and then backed away, swaying after the impact. They shook it off, and began to make shows of aggression all over again, blowing trunks up in the air and flaring nostrils with heated breaths. Oh, brother. Riley murmured boredly. She instantly decided both of the animals should be named Herryk, and she would root for none of them, instead. She found herself wishing she'd drawn a cougar, and as if it could read her thoughts, the elephant turned towards her and threatened to charge instead. She instantly cleared her thoughts and tried to look innocent. My HP: 20/30 Damage done: 7 Opponent's HP: 86/100 Number of nets left: 2 Link all posts made here: 1

You know, Riley lifted a finger and murmured at the elephant, wondering if it even understood her. The professor specifically mentioned that brute force is not always the right choice. Granted, I enjoy brute force myself on occassion, but even I must admit that-The elephant had actually been listening, and was so distracted, that it let out an awful roar when the bull took advantage and gored into it's side. The elephant turned to wrap it's trunk around the bull's middle, pulled it off, and flung it several feet away - but the damage had been done. Two very nasty looking black holes were now seeping with black ink on the animal's side, and the elephant turned to charge Riley again. She winced, and shrugged. Sorry. That wasn't enough for the elephant, and soon Riley found herself outrunning the giant beast, while the bull pawed at the ground and waited for someone to pay attention to him again. The elephant ran Riley up a tree, and only when it couldn't reach her, did it finally return to it's initial battle - but it kept it's little, beady eye on her, just in case. Riley was comfortable in trees. She would be fine watching the battle from up here, thank you. My HP: 15/30 Damage done: 4 Opponent's HP: 82/100 Number of nets left: 2 Link all posts made here: 1 2
