After watching the moving drawing Reina had shown the class, Ella-Brook made a mental note to speak to the elf at some point in the future. She was very curious as to how magical powers worked.
Ella-Brook was just about to speak in response to Zane when Mr. Vay began speaking and said what she had been about to say. She had been going to suggest that explaining strengths and weaknesses required introspection on both the player's and the character's part, and that it was something she hadn't really done when she'd spoken earlier.
Instead of repeating what had already been said, Ella-Brook decided she might as well do what the teacher told them to do and direct her advice towards someone specific. She wanted to speak to the cat-like person that she'd heard the teacher refer to as Kitty, but she was unsure of what to call him, as she'd noticed that the teacher intermittently referred to people by their names and by nicknames or designations he'd given them. She was fairly sure that the male elf's name was not Mr. Pointy-Ears. Rather than risk embarrassment by calling him by the wrong name, Ella-Brook turned to Fang and cleared her throat.
"Um, you. You mentioned your skills and Stealth mentioned your weaknesses in character - or, uh, in personality, but what about your strengths? I'm sure you have some. Er, personality strengths, that is. You said you were friendly, but what else? Um, to me it seems that you're pretty opinionated about some things, which I think counts as a personality strength because I think it shows you believe in something, but, uh, my perceptions about you could be wrong. Anyway, um, I think it would be helpful if you mentioned more of your strengths."

"I am not shy," she growled probably a little more loud than she intended. She marched on over to her desk finding one closest to the back. It wouldn't feel right to be anywhere else then farthest from the teacher. Perhaps his eyes wouldn't catch her not paying attention or see her first to call on her.
At any rate she stood at her choice of desk. and, not waiting for second to allow anyone else take the spot, Eva stood straight to take her turn.
“My name is Evalyn Rose but call me Eva. I’m here because I want to be, there fore I am. I come from New York but my father’s a traveling doctor so we’ve lived just about everywhere. I look forward to crushing you all at a game of soccer.” Well, that was one thing to be excited about. For Evalyn, school wasn’t fun but the activities and extracurricular were. Being a ball of energy when something catches her interest, she could be very enthusiastic, especially when it came to competitiveness. However, to be enthusiastic about school? That wasn’t going to happen.
The girl was considerably short making her look like a 7th grader at a high schoolers desk; Sure it was cute but if anyone dared to utter the words on why they thought so, she’d be quick to snap. Who ever decided short or little things were cute, she would never know, nor ever consider.
“My puppeteer is Countess Misery but any nickname will do. She’s rarely uses the same character twice much less the same name. She prefers fantasy based RPs, her favorite usually involving elementals, but will occasionally resort to slice of life. One of her many weaknesses is consistency with characters like myself. She loves giving her characters special quirks and putting them in life threatening or changing situations. Thankfully she won’t be doing so with me. She knows I’ll just beat her at the challenge. ” This puppeteer kindly shakes her head to such a notion.

If D'cund has ears, they would have perked at the sound of "elementals". Being one, and so far the only, he wondered if he should be so fortunate as to find another. Perhaps of a different variety, that they may learn from each other. D'cund smiled and turned to the short one who called herself Evalyn Rose and spoke to her. Conveniently she had chosen the seat next to him.
"Do yoeh know ahny elemintahls? O is dat ahnly sommat yoaw creato knows?"
Do you know any elementals? Or is that only something your creator knows?
He closed his eyes, covering the two gems they were made of with rock. The look was meant to be a pleasing one, that he would not scare her away. Rock monsters of his sort had rather piercing glances.
Sigma, on the other side of D'cund, was surprised to see the big guy talk to someone else besides him. He leaned forward in the desk a little to look at Eva and waited to see how she would respond.

Zane followed the teacher's gaze as he welcomed the newcomer to the class. As silent and short as she was, from her stance, he wasn't so sure that the the new girl truly fit under the umbrella of shy. She didn't seem exactly the case in point of entering the room without a word as being shy, but Zane got the idea. However, as he wasn't the RPer in the equation, whether or not he cared was a different matter entirely. Vaguely, he remembered himself quoting verbatim and not realizing that the teacher had meant crippling in that sense when he had first used it in the lesson. If he payed any mind to it, he would have agreed with Vay's words of wisdom.
He sniggered softly as the teacher called out on the cowboy elf. "I bet he doesn't regret much either. It's not in his character to learn his lessons, or he's just prone to falling over and over again for those that would lead to his demise, like the two ladies he hangs out with. What's more might be that he's not the compassionate type, or if he is, he hasn't told us who he's willing to spare his kindness towards." Zane eased back into his chair in thought. He wasn't sure how anyone would have ever recruited the gunslinger into this backwater location to begin with. Maybe it had to do with his weakness, or maybe he owed something. Zane didn't care too much. "Maybe he runs fast too. Often to get away from exploding barrels or whatnot that he's shot or otherwise blown up. The realism of this is typically limited only to movies though, so I can't judge."
He chewed on the remains of his lollipop. Should he continue? He was bored out of his mind without his laptop. "Whatever his name is." Zane glanced at Alex. "Has a laid back attitude. So maybe he uses that side of him to hide his true feelings and ambitions, or lack thereof. Others think that he's confident and happy-go-lucky, but really don't know that deep down he's really just a lazy b*****d.
"Catboy, I don't know, might find weakness in his tail. Maybe he doesn't like it when it's tugged on, or maybe a lot of what he's thinking would be revealed by its quirks and flicks. 'Curiosity killed the cat' is a common idiom, so he might be curious to a fault too. He could have an attraction for shiny objects too, or he could be the type to be energetic all the time.
"Book girl beside me probably gets really good grades. Pretty sure she pointed out that she's smart already, so I probably wasn't much help there. Maybe she could help me with my math homework sometime..." He rolled his eyes to the ceiling casually, avoiding her gaze. "She also seems really confident with herself too, which is something admirable."
And with that, he got up and started making his way over to check out for wherever his eraser had tumbled off to.

Alex's eyes shot up at the sound of his name being spoken and caught what he heard about what Zane though of him. He gave the guy a frown, stood up from his chair, and spoke up, a bit annoyed that his mannerisms were lumped under "lazy b*****d". "Hey now. I didn't speak up about your strange rantings when you walked in and label you some sort of mental case so don't go making judgments on others. Maybe I'm not as interested in the whole aspect of school as the rest of you, but I am here to learn." That comment wasn't often used to describe Alex and he wasn't happy it was addressed to him. Lazy was one thing and Alex would attest to that, he was very lazy in many things he did. On the other hand, b*****d made him sound like he wanted nothing in life and was one of those people who sat around at home and freeloaded off of their parents. Living in the basement and all that fun jazz. Alex wasn't one of those people. He wanted to get ahead in life and do something useful. Of course there was the glaring constant issue of his family but to him, that was irrelevant to his success. Granted he was pretty sure no one else had to deal with being the son of a Greek god, but they had their own problems to deal with and Alex was sure they were just as hard as his own. Y'know maybe on a smaller 'likely to kill you' ratio but still hard none the less. He sat back down and returned to his notebook, writing up the design from Alice's bus from earlier. That folding had interested him and he mentally reminded himself to ask her about it later.

The teacher had been reading his book again but arched an eyebrow up at new new girl when she rather bluntly denied being shy. He was about to apologize when a few more students chimed in so he waited for those as he put his book down and stood back up, giving the sorry stack of papers on his desk a glance with a heavy sigh before looking to Eva. "Sorry for the assumption, Miss Rose. There has been a bit of a pattern with the girls so far. Good to hear you're breaking it," he gave her a smiling nod. "Good luck with that challenge as well but you may not want to tempt Fate, she is a nasty b***h," the teacher's smile turned wry a moment then disappeared completely as he looked back over the class. "Well. It's Sunday and I'm still missing many of y'all's papers," he paused to tap the stack on the desk which only had one new page added. "Thank you to everyone who did the extra credit, do be nice about it though," he gave Zane and Alex a glance before going on. "It seems I am going to have to try a different tactic with this. Looks like y'all might be more the start big an work in detail sorts rather than pile up details to get the big picture. That's ok, more than one way to flesh a character. So, let's try this shall we," Vay snapped his fingers and a puff of smoke flared on each of the students' desks. When it cleared there was a booklet, staple bound with a magazine gloss cover, by the title of 'Character Creation Workbook' across the top in bold lettering. "Oh look. Worksheets," Vay grinned wryly. "My lovely wife was kind enough to make these for us. Or is in the process of it anyway," he half laughed at the last. If anyone was curious enough to open the booklet they found most of the pages blank and maybe a few in the obvious process of being written. "Now, let's all turn to page 1," Vay instructed and any who followed instructions found that the page actually numbered with a 1 in the top outside corner was not the first page, that was a cover page, but a few pages past (after a table of contents and half written introduction) was the page numbered 1 and on it was the heading 'Character Profiles' followed by a few paragraphs explaining the basic concept. Which the teacher read for them. "Character Profiles are, in short, the identity of a character. They are a useful and important tool as a well designed profile will be a sum of who you are put into an easy to read format so others don't have to sort through a lot of prose to know your basics. There are many different kinds and formats of character profiles ranging from the very simple to the incredibly complex but they are all just a form to be filled out with information on your character. "Character profiles will vary greatly between GMs and even individual RPs. Some GMs may not actually use the term 'character profile' rather using 'skeleton' or 'template' or some other word but in essence this is what most GMs require you to submit to be included in their RP. In general the longer the submission form the more developed a character is expected to be. Most GMs will ask for at least the standard form information, those details nearly every form you will ever fill out ask for: Name, Age, Gender, possibly Race. Most GMs also include some sort of physical description section as well and good ones will ask for personality, ability, and background information to round it out. Some GMs even use stat systems which require numbers on a character profile. "A well designed character profile will force the player to develop their character by requiring information beyond the basic descriptions. While this may alienate the more casual players it will result in better characters. The following pages will take you through a progression of character profile templates designed to gradually expand on a basic character concept." Mr. Vay stopped reading and looked up at the rest of the class. "Now think back and remember what you submitted to the Registrar to get in here," he paused a moment. "That was a basic character concept. So we're going to take that and use it to fill out these profiles. See how this works," he paused a moment before stepping back to the board to write 'Do pg 2 of the Workbook' as the next assignment. "Turn to page 2," he instructed the class as he turned back around. "That is the first of the series of profiles. It's a pretty simple one. Fill it out," he told them a touch flatly. On the page was, just as Vay had said, a simple character profile: Instructions: Use the following template to build a basic character profile. Replace with your information.

"For extra credit you can discuss the merits of using images with or instead of a written physical description," Vay added before sitting down at his desk again. "I expect you to have this done by next Sunday. That's a whole week to copy the code, put in your answers, and post it here."

Upon hearing the man, or was it an ape… rock monster talking, she turned and shook at the surprise. How in God's name had she not noticed that… him? Not that she was highly observant but she'd like to think such things didn't get by her, something Countess couldn't help but to sigh, with another shake of the head. "Me? Know elementals?" her eyes went wide with such a statement and she quickly seemed to be avoiding looking at him. "Just because she tends to like them?" she gave an uneasy look while a free hand came to play with her hair. "No… I don't…I don't know any thing of the sort…" It was painful just watching her keep at that. As the teacher was mentioning the topic, she was quick to finding something else to pay attention to. It wasn't that she didn't want to get to know him, just not a topic she was fine with sticking to just yet. Eva's hand shot up as she began filling out her paper. However, before he could actually call on her, she started. "Although pictures with your character can be nice to help to give your audience a feel for how you intend the person to look, a majority of people take those pictures from the internet, using preexisting people or drawings. Sometimes you can find someone who looks just as you want (or you are based off of that picture) and the picture is an original character but a majority of pictures are of people or characters with their own personality. Using a picture, you can come across the problem that someone else already knows that character or person and will compare it to your picture. Give for example this picture of Mikuru Asahina, I may look very much like her and she would be a good reference picture but now those of you who actually know her may give me the association that I'm some time traveling shy girl who gets harassed often. Which I'm not! So don't even say a word of it. Another problem that can be faced is that by giving you the picture doesn't allow for you to make your own picture of me. It takes the colorful wording out in describing who I am via what I look like and how that might affect your views of me. With a picture you have the preconceived notion that I am that girl, cute pretty and sweet." The girl rolled her eyes at the very words "However, in some stories, lengthy ones for instance, it's nice to have the picture for reference as to not waste time describing your character and getting right into the fun stuff. There are pros and cons to both but in the end, it's up to the person accepting applications what they want." With that, the girl shut up and went right into finishing off her description so she could hand it in early. Eva Played by: Countess Misery Commitment: Between Hobbyist and Gamer Basics Full Name: Evalyn May Rose Age: 18 Gender: Female Nationality: The world Otho, New York City. (Very much like earth's NYC, politically and socially not so much) Ethnicity: Feu (Race of Humans with fire ability) Concept Eva is a girl from another world where the nation's unity and power is crumbling. It is because of this that she can be a little off-putting due to her usual need to protect herself from a corrupt world. She's a stick of dynamite, not letting anyone get in her way and getting what she wants but never afraid to have fun in doing so. She can be very playful but also has a problem with being a bit too competitive. Whatever you do, just don't play foul, call her short or find something to piss her off about. Sure she can be abrasive but she's got a sweet thing for a few things too... Appearance Hair: Long, Auburn Eyes: Golden Hazel Skin: Pale Height: 5' 2" Weight: 90lbs Build: Short, skinny Distinguishing Features: Eyes have a bit more vibrance to them and almost seem to glow at times when she's angry Description: Normally wearing a V-neck t-shirt and a pair of khaki shorts. She likes to be ready for a challenge whenever it arises. Hardly ever ties back hair unless she's getting serious. Doesn't carry much on her person other than a canvas messenger bag if she has anything to carry that doesn't fit in her pockets.

D'cund was disappointed to say the least; not so much because of the girl's reaction, indeed he was used to that, but because she did not know any elementals. As her attention diverted from him his diverted to the puff of smoke taking up his desk. When it cleared he found a slightly different book in front of him made up of thin and dense stone tablets.
Whether this was his creator's doing or the teacher's D'cund could not be sure, but he was grateful that he would not have to put his fist through the book in an effort to write.
Sigma's reaction to the girl was to chuckle and slump back in his chair. Of course she wouldn't know of any elementals, only his creator had the...genius...
"That's not what I'm thinking." Sigma spoke quietly to the ceiling.
...fine, "stupidity" to bring a rock monster to class.
Sigma smiled and turned his gaze to his own handbook. He flipped through it unsurprised to see much of it unfinished.
D'cund had noticed Sigma's thought and turned to him.
"You ting ah ahm stup'ed?" the rock monster's face set in a snarl.
"No no, not at all big guy, just calm down eh?"
"You ting eht es stup'ed for 'im ta bring me 'ere."
"Well..."
"So you ting I ahm stup'ed."
"No, no, he's stupid." Sigma raised his hand nearest to D'cund and waved it as a gesture of surrender. "Talk to more people. You know. You are good, great even."
D'cund settled back in his seat, his rocky brow furrowed. Sigma did the same, but his brow and his eyes remained covered by his shaggy white hair.
Quietly they worked on filling out their profile sheets.

Reina flinched when Zane had asked his question. While it wasn't a bad question to ask at all, it was one that had been asked before in a more violent manner. "No! She-She's not real. This is a shadow of her. A reflection. My drawings can come off the pages, but the reason why she didn't is because of the border. I didn't think it was a good idea to have her running rampant here." She would have hated to have trapped her creator in the book if it really was a part of her powers. But Isa-sama has more power than me. She can't be trapped in the book...right? Reina opened her book while the others were talking and checked on her drawing. In it, she saw the drawing of her creator holding up a sign which read "I'm okay. I just wanted to tease you a bit and check out the rock ape. I want to know what he's made of." The drawing took away the sign and wrote on the back of it, "Please let me out?" Reina frowned, but erased the border. Hopefully Isa wouldn't cause too much trouble. Isa smiled and when she pulled herself off the page. "C'mon now, just because I'm around doesn't mean you can ignore your homework," Isa teased. Isa was still gray and held her scythe, but she was actually there. "Thank God you drew me in pencil. Otherwise, getting around the border would have been really annoying." Reina worked on her profile while Isa looked around and stared at D'cund and Sigma. "While you're doing that, I'm going to mingle. Bye!" Isa walked over to the rock creature and smiled. "Hi! I'm a self-aware figment of the imagination of the scaredy cat over there. Don't mean to be rude - or weird - but can I take a look at you? How were you formed? I am a bit of a rock scientist. Or well, the original me likes rocks, though it's hard to remember why sometimes." She looked over at Sigma and grinned. "Mind doing me a favor and talking to my fortunately inattentive elf? I adore her, but my God, it wouldn't kill her to talk to someone other than me." Isa turned her head in the direction of the cowboy elf and grinned, "Actually, while my elf isn't worrying about what I do or say, you there," she pointed at Tombstone, "go build some elf solidarity with her. I'm sure she'd try and talk to you, but it might take time before she even approached you." Reina lifted her head with a contented sigh. Her homework was finished finally. When she noticed that Isa was no longer right beside her, she looked around until she saw the drawing interacting with other people. "Please don't cause trouble," she mumbled as she turned her worksheet over to the Professor. Isa smiled gently, but didn't respond. The worksheet was filled, and Reina turned to try to get the drawing to stop any shenanigans it had thought up. The assignment she turned in looked a little like this: Reina Played by: Isa-sama Commitment: Gamer Basics Full Name: Reina Trasfer Alias: N/A Age: 19 Gender: Female Nationality: Reina doesn't remember where she originally came from, but she does know that she currently resides in a town called Vallendale. Considering what she has learned from her player, Reina believes that Vallendale is still on Earth. However, unlike the Earth her player is from, Reina's Earth has survived the Cataclysm, which is an event similar to the apocalypse. Ethnicity: Half elf, half human. ConceptReina is a girl who has to help save her world from a man named Aeon. She just needs to find her courage and be able to work with others to prevent Aeon from his ultimate goal: destroy the world. Her fear of people comes from a life of anti-elf bias which prevents her from being able to work with others. Appearance Hair: Reina has straight blonde hair that reaches the waist. Her hair is normally left alone. However, when Reina feels the need to concentrate, she puts her hair into a low ponytail. Eyes: They are light brown but can turn amber when angry or when extremely focused on using magic. Skin: Pale, but it's not really noticeable since she's covered in dirt. Height: 5'6" Weight: 130 lbs I think Build: She has a runner's body with lean strong legs. However, her upper body isn't very muscular. All she really does is draw and run. She doesn't really have fingernails since she bites them when nervous. Distinguishing Features: She has pointed ears that are somewhat hidden by her hair and a symbol tattooed in the middle of her back. Description: She has a backpack filled with art supplies and dried fruit. She has a grey skirt that reaches her knees and a long sleeved light grey turtleneck shirt. Her shoes are black slip ons. The minute she has a break from class, she plans on drawing herself some new clothes (elbow length grey shirt, jeans, and boots). I wasn't sure whether it was okay to write this since it hasn't happened yet. Sorry Professor.

Nationality: Sauril, Library of Keinkin Ethnicity: Golem/Earth Elemental ConceptD'cund is the first of his kind to discover a power. His willingness to learn and teach and pursuit of knowledge allowed him to travel his world. He got here because I, his creator, plucked him out of his story with the promise of learning. He is passionate about knowledge and more than willing to exchange it. Appearance Hair: None. Eyes: Two yellow gems that glow in the dark. Skin: Rock, basalt. Height: 6'10" Weight: Between 350-400 lbs. Build: Rocky, brutish. Distinguishing Features: He is a rock monster. His eyes are gems. Description: Shaped like a hominid, with a head that looks somewhat similar to that of a gila monster but with eyes facing forward. Most of the rocks he is made out of are misshapen and not entirely formfitting. D'cund looked up from this and was surprised to see a female speaking to him. He thought about the answer to the first part before responding, and then waited to respond until after she finished talking. "I wes cahved beh meh fahther. You cahn look aht me oll you like." He stared at her expectantly, waiting to see what this look over would entail. Sigma just stared blankly at the drawing that had popped out of the girl-elf's sketchbook. He wasn't sure what to make of her or the elf, but quickly decided that because the drawing's attention veered to Wild West over there that he would set about doing his own profile.

Isa tilted her head, blinked, and then said, "Y'know, normally I would hit the person who made that kind of remark, but two things stop me: you're made of rock, and I don't think you meant it in that way." Look at him all she likes...that only made her wonder if that was a phrase the rock hominid wanted to use or if someone else had been eager to use it.
She walked up to him and looked at his elbow. From out of nowhere, she pulled out a tiny magnifying glass and tried to identify the rocks. "Carved by your father...how exactly? No obvious foliation, and judging by the dark color, you're not very alkali rich...gabbro? No, basalt? I wish I had a thin section to figure it out. And...crap, that's not the same as the rest of you." She pulled away from his elbow and looked up at him. "Do you know the area where you were born?" She hoped he did. "Were you in the ocean or were you in land when you were formed?"

Alex glared at the workbook. He had hated workbooks in school and still hated them now. They were good if used correctly he felt, but most of his teachers had just told him to write in his workbook and turn in the page(s) at the end of the period. Mr. Vay was doing a pretty good job in his mind of keeping a balance between talking and making them do stuff so he didn't mind it as much here. He flipped it open to the page that he had specified and filed it out, Dragn looking over his shoulder and pointing out any mistakes or changes. Alex
Played by: DragnGuy7 Commitment: Gamer
Basics Full Name: Alex Rider Alias: N/A Age: 19 Gender: Male Nationality: America, specifically a small fictional town near Mt. St Helens called Firestone Ethnicity: Demigod (half human, half god) in this case of Hephastus, god of fire and metal working
Concept Alex was a character that was made for a general slice of life story but was changed to include a different background and idea. In this case, a character that was made based off of Rick Riordan's fictional world of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. He's just a regular guy trying to make his way in the world, you know with the constant issue of ancient Greek monsters trying to kill him and that he can create and control fire. (Sorry if this a bit much) He is here to learn and hopefully gain a little time away from his strange lifestyle.
Appearance Hair: Untidy brown hair Eyes: Brown Skin: A dark tan(not black or brown) Height: 5' 10" Weight: 160lbs Build: Lean and toned body. Looks deceivingly skinny and weak. Distinguishing Features: has a tattoo of a hammer on his chest about the size of a fist in his right ribcage Description: Often carries a small pack with tools for taking things apart or tinkering with things. Always has a graph notebook with him for making designs or blueprints of things and noting down ideas. His appearance is consistent and often messy as he is usually too lazy to change anything or clean himself up though he does keep his face clean. His hands are always bandaged in some way and numerous nicks and scars cover his hands from working on things.

"Far be it from my place to deny the instructions of self-aware constructs. I can only imagine that you are expressing what your creator would desire, as it would be quite silly to create a construct that intentionally acts against you," Lloyd replied. The tapping of his heel to the floor ceased as he stood and strode to Reina. "Your construct has ordered me to talk to you," Lloyd informed her. "Therefore: Hello. I suppose your construct thought we ought to speak because we share the trait of pointed ears. That seems to me a poor reason long-term but a good enough reason for an initial approach." His efforts to make his growling vocals not totally sound like he meant to bury were modestly successful. SigmaPlayed by: Jikial Commitment: Same as last time Basics Full Name: Derrick Olindo Rel Alias: Sigma; The Imperfect Age: 24 Gender: Male Nationality: Aglia, Farrow's Rest Ethnicity: Human, Infected. ConceptSigma is the result of experiments with corruption. He has retained his humanity and burning drive towards a goal. He was also plucked right from his life. Appearance Hair:Long, shaggy and white. Eyes: One glowing purple, one yellow and black, both hidden by his hair. Skin: Pale grey, with black veins beneath. Height: 6' Weight: 146 lbs. Build: Thin, athletic. Distinguishing Features:His eyes, his raptor feet, his left forearm and hand is black and clawed. There are slits around his throat. Description: Sigma wear a long lab coat that goes to the floor and he keeps cinched at his chest. He also is wearing jean shorts that go slightly past his knees. His shirt is a simple white undershirt. He keeps his left hand wrapped in cloth from his palm all the way to his elbow. Satisfied... "I'm not satisfied." Satisfied, and unable to erase anything he wasn't happy with, he slouched back in his chair and turned his head to watch the drawing and the rock. D'cund addressed the girl, "I only said what I said because you said it first." For a moment he imagined she would be taken aback by this new sound. His voice when he used the Hum was far from the rocky tumble-anche and more akin to listening to someone using a talk box on a glass harmonica. So he decided to explain that first. "Don't pull away, it is easier to speak like this. I can only do it when someone touches me, or we are surrounded by stone." He was looking at her the whole time. His mouth wasn't moving and no one else could hear what he said. If they could hear anything, it would be a slight humming noise. "I was made in a desert warped by a false god. My father chose a strong stone, but I have picked up a few different stones in my life." His face became a smile. "Ah, so rough my voice, it is quite pleasant to use this instead."

Reina stared at Tombstone as though she couldn't believe he was there. "My..construct? What?" Oh no. No no no. I am so tempted to draw a gag on her. "I...see. Well I don't think I've heard your name since I've been in here. But I'm glad to talk to you," she said. He sounded very blunt. It was somewhat nice to have someone to talk to, but it was also very awkward since she didn't know what else to say. "Um...I suppose you like guns?" And the captain obvious award goes to Reina. "Well, um, what kind of guns do you prefer using? I normally make myself some hand guns..." There. A nice conversation starter. Isa would have been so proud if she hadn't been focused on the rock monster.
The drawing was having a blast. "Holy crap, that's awesome!" The vibration patterns making sounds so that she understood them? Really interesting idea. "Wait, so no one else can hear this at all, can they?" That would be a little disappointing. On the one hand, it was really useful in case the rock guy wanted to speak privately to someone. On the other, it was probably frstrating to the others who had no idea what was going on. "If you were made in the desert, I imagine you're more of a gabbro then. Basalts - while I suppose you could find them in continental crust - are more likely found in oceanic crust. Thanks for explaining the other rocks. That would have been annoying to try and figure out." False gods sounded interesting, but perhaps she'd ask at a later point in time. "Actually, since this is easier to understand, can I get your name? I wasn't around to hear it earlier."
