Ok, well, here's what I have to say about everything since my last post in here: Reality and Anime don't mix in general. They are two seperate things, unless one is purposefully trying to emulate the other. This is not a modern military discussion group. It's a roleplay organization, with at least 2 major factions designed around anime. The members of those factions joined those factions so they could live their lives within the context of the anime.
Don't overrationalize this. wink
Also please keep in mind that we are a cohesive guild now, or would be aiming for it. Please respect the other guilds, and note that every one of us has been autonomous for over half a year at least. (I don't know if the GA was more in touch with its branch groups when the original CiC had time.) Since each faction has been working apart for so long, we need to respect the traditions each group has gone with, and the decisions made.

I agree with Eyleen...I we are even considering to work as full Goverment with its corresponding branch respect is esential...without it the GG will fall apart in the blink of an eye...in fact...we need to get this moving...we have planed a lot but no actions are been taken....so we need to focus on something and get it done ASAP

I agree with Ms. Eileen and MS. Griffin Chan. I mean both myself and Hikaru have made the GMT as rational as possible but I think Blah909 and Tanasha's criticing has borderlined over rationalizing. Afterall it is anime based and when the guild was first created when it was still referred to as the G.G.(Guild of Gundams), it was the first GA offshute guild. We've never really had any problem existing alongside the GA or helping out when the gaian site was still new, and the guilds could be easily kept track of before the surplus of 50+ new guilds per day started happening making it almost impossible to help the basic citizens.
Anywho, Yes this government does need to get going. Tanasha did mention that we had a constitution before as I recall, but we have seen hide nor hair of it and we need to all agree on it. It should have already been put in the first post of this thread a long time ago.

blah909 okay, we need to organize stuff: 1. who has the constitution? if not, we're gonna make another one. 2. why call it the constitution? why not the articles of gaia? 3. what branches do we have? 4. who wants to be in the council to decide on stuff? 5. ... well cant say anything on the constitution....I dont know how has it... maybe we should make a new...whne the council is up and running... that should be their first job Branches I remember: ASDF GA GMT GPD (tough not on this guild as the have their own the are still allies and part of the GG if mind doenst trick me) The New marines corp that Blah909 is forming ...Shouldnt we have an Inteligence Agency or something like that??..I think we are missing that... I decline any position on the council...Im a fighter pilot, I want to be an officer of course and rank up as far as I can...but Im not a good politician.... sweatdrop and and backing up Indrid....yup a constitution WE made, will be far better than using one already in existence...not to metion I know nothing of the US constitution... geezz... I barely remember the most important articles on my country constitution... (now you know why Im not a good politician sweatdrop ...that and the fact that I prefer action over arguing)

Ouch blah, ouch.
Um, this is a temp. account that I use when I need stuff and when my account goes down...like it has now...if your still wondering who I am I am Tutsumi.
I agree with Indrid, V.H., and A. L., we need to make a move on these matters.
As for the mix of anime and real life, that was used on the GA a few times, it helped but was also confusing (to some) and made it much harder to just have fun, which is what Gaia Online is really about. Not real life, but the extention to it...where you can be what you want and if in the outlines be free.
As for this fighting...stop it now...it doesn't help, if anything it just slows up down.
Now, as for working on making this thing reality, we need to be working on the big things and not the little. The little can be done last. We need to get the basic ground under this guild's feet and start to build on it. In other words, get the constitution and w/e else that is needed.

Umm, hopefully ppl will go HERE and realize there's a constitution already out. As far as it being modified from the US constitution, I dont see a problem. You have to use 'something' as a basis and Id say its a pretty good one (on paper at least). Id assume its also what most people are familiar with but who knows and who cares.... just move on already. I really doubt itd be of much use in typical, everyday RP anyway, just in specific circustances. In any case, the whole debate about what mecha & vehicles can and cant do can be solved by a universal system. (Sorry Eileen, the spotlight is heading your way.) CRC was being worked on before this as a means for pretty simple mecha/vehicle construction (including cost) and combat. I know she put a ton of effort into it because I have seen the preliminary work and was very impressed. Hopefully it'll still be an option to use and end a lot of the common problems (bickering) that goes. Another thing is I see only two forums within this guild still. When will we be moving all the others mentioned? Should the leaders themselves start new threads and such or what?

As for the leaders and the threads...the leaders are the ones who are supposed to be making the threads, for example: Tippman should make the GA thread.
And as for the sigs, we should have a thread with the options and let people vote, listing the sigs off by numbers. (Poll is nessicary for this one.)

Kenosha: I heard they're going to be making it so you can move your old guilds into your new guilds, so I'm going to wait for that rather than recreate ASDF here.
Anybody who wants to start a new thread should do it now, as there's no sense in waiting. IIRC, the GA doesn't even have a thread right now.
I hope the CRC does resolve this, despite my prefference for moderately complex systems over simple ones.

Wizard: 1) Laws do not belong in the constitution, it's describing how the system works, what it can't do, and what it has to do.
2) "Etiquette Rules" and "Codes of Conduct"? Can you elaborate?
3) "The constitution" works. IC we're all in Gaia, and it's more time to say "I know the rights granted to me by the Statutes and Regulations of the Gaian Government!" than "I know my constitutional rights!".
