A question:

Does anyone in here have some tips on editing with MSPaint? It's the only graphics program we have on our computer, and I don't think we can afford another.

almost every edit i do is in ms paint (even though i have other programs, i'm just loyal to the one i started with. My only suggestion..is look at shading on other ppls edits..and do everything PIXEL by PIXEL by PIXEL..it takes a while, but in the end it turns out well.

Hello all. After being completely AWOL for months, I've taken up the abusing of Photoshop tools once more for edits. rofl

I was wondering how I could make the lines on his shirt stand out less. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I was wondering how I could make the lines on his shirt stand out less. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Put the lines on a new layer, draw them in, and lower the opacity of the entire layer by going to the layers screen and clicking the opacity bar. Then drag the cursor over until it is faded enough to satisfy you.

all you can do is zoom in as much as possible and hope you have a good enough style.

Lucca's tute has an eye tutorial included in it. 3nodding

As for recoloring bases, you can either use the hue/saturation tool or make a new layer, set it to color, and then use the fill tool to change the color. 3nodding

Lucca's tutorial isnt helpful to the eyes Im trying to create..but thanks...and I tried using the second method for the skin recoloring but it doesnt work....remember Im trying to get gaia's skin tones not customs... sweatdrop

A tablet is a type of drawing pad that is sort of like a mouse, only it has a pen used for drawing.

You use them to draw, and in our case, do avi edits! ^0^

Depends on the kind of detail. If you mean like a patterned fabric, you can use the burn and dodge tools to make color blend into the fabric.

Anything else is kinda complicated and I haven't really done. XD

Oh, and smudge helps with that, but if you're really careful placing your shadows and highlights (I'm not, I'm messy. XD) you shouldn't need it.
