"Are you sure about that? What if you miss?" She could feel her grip slipping. The mechanic tried to lift up her son, but with a dislocated arm, it was a no go.

The E series watched from below as the three figures struggled in the sky. The soldier knew that the other were watching and waiting just the same.

"Don't go ******** around with my little cousin," Victor called after Rave.

Rave physically twitched at the comment, "I'm going to see if she heard the noise too!" He snapped.

Take saw the gray eyed figures below them and looked up, "Go ahead and let go. I believe dad can catch me. . . "
"Yeah, I've got him, Jo." He smiled.

The woman sighed and looked down towards the dark mechanic, "If he gets hurt. . . It'll be on your head, Ai!" She looked back at her son, "Promise you'll be alright."

Victor gave a shrug as the mechanic left. "Now. . . Where were we?"
"Price negotiations. I'll give you the schematics for. . . . . Hmm. . half a million?"

Kanas twitched as he gazed at the X on the screen, "H-Half a million?" That was actually more of a shocker than he thought it was going to be. He paled a bit and looked nervous temporarily, "Half a Million. Alright. You have a deal."
"Renee? You alright?" He knocked on the door quietly.

"I Promise I'll be alright" He smiled at his mother quietly.

"Start wiring those funds. I'll get the data transfer going now."
Victor looked over to Kanas, "How the ******** are you so willing to throw down half a million at this guy?"

Renee opened the door abruptly, rubbing the side of her head. "Please tell me I'm not going crazy."

The fiery mechanic gave a sigh, "Okay. . . Ai, get ready!" She released her son and watched him fall down towards his father.
Kai saw the drop and made his move. At the rate the person was falling, it wasn't looking any good he was going to intercept. Information fed into his processors, making everything around him feel slow. He charged for the falling person and launched himself into the air with whatever his motors could give him.

Kanas turned toward his laptop before looking up at Victor, "Rave is obsessed with the E-series. Always has been since this job opened up. He wants to learn how they ticks, how they think. . ." He looked up and began wiring the funds, "My job is to make everyone happy. . . and Rave is very important to me and the others." There was a pause as he finished, "Alright, done." He sighed and looked at Maren who looked down.
"Kai was kind of important to Rave, mainly because of Kaito. If it wasn't for him...I guess things would've gotten rather ugly. . ." He looked up from the table, "He's kind of important."

Aittus grabbed his son's arm and there was a sickening crack as he tried to hold on. His hand loosened and he stared. This was a time that he panicked, "Take, whatever you do, don't let go!"
". . ." Take tried to hang on, but the sleeve of his father's jacket ripped and he began to fall toward the ground rapidly.
"TAKE!"
"Dad? Mom?" His voice was nervous as his father reached out with his good arm, willing to fall for him.

As soon as the money was wired, the data download for the schematics began.
"And now we wait. . . " Victor sighed.

"Taketomi! Aittus!" the woman screamed as she watched the scene unfold.
A blur of orange and white came rushing at Take at breakneck speed. It was something no ordinary human without help was capable of.
At the same time, purple and white zoomed for the father. Bass jumped and bounced off of Kai's shoulders, using the E Series as a spring board to propell himself further.
The mechanic saw the fast moving figure on the ground, coming ever so closer. "Ai! At your 10!"
Kai hit the ground, creating a deep yet small crater upon landing. Not that he didn't mind. It was more of he wasn't expecting that to happen at all. The E series broke into a run, once again closing in to intercept Take.

Taketomi had his eyes closed tight until he felt something....or someone. He looked down and saw the orange blur under him.
Aittus gripped his arm before he noticed the moving figure, "What the...?" His eyes widened, "What the hell?!"

Bass flew straight into Aittus and held onto to the taller man as they fell a little away from Take. Gray eyes were visibly in effect as the B series hit the ground feet first.
Kai had finally caught Taketomi. The E series held on as they both fell back to the ground. His dull gray eyes were lifeless as usual as he braced for impact.
Ayu showed up as she bounced off the E series and up to the other mechanic. The woman was startled enough to lose grip of her machine but was fortunately caught by the A series. Like the other two, her eyes were locked in gray for the time being. She braced for landing and made impact a little away from Kai.
The mechanic was more than visibly shaken from the experience, "What. . . . What are you?"
"My designation is A-147 Ayu. . ." she replied mechanically.

"Where are you taking us?" Aittus looked over at the gray-eyed loid
". . . " Take just hung on to the figure. . . he was sure they were going somewhere safe. . . at least he was hoping for it.

"To our maintenance crew. They sent us out." Bass replied.
Kai let the taller man down and started to head back with Bass and Ayu.

"I see..." This was a strange thing. Aittus looked at his girlfriend, confusion running across his face, "So where is this exactly?"
"Thanks for catching me back there. I'd be broken if not for you" He smiled at the orange haired loid.

"In town," Ayu told them as they continued back towards the city.
"Thank my mechanic for reactivating me then. I'm just following orders," Kai said with a flat tone.
The mechanic shrugged and followed them. "Maybe we can get some answers?"

Aittus gave a nod, agreeing with his girlfriend instantly, "You're right. Maybe" He said
The blond smiled, "I don't know what you're made of, but it's obviously something tougher than me" He smiled.

"I was built to withstand damage." Kai stated.
Bass's eyes changed to color as he looked back to the newcomers, "Don't mind Kai. He's still a bit dull. The mechanics that work on us are still trying to fix him."
