David's luck ran out soon enough, as just past the halfway point his hand made contact with a well hidden tripwire. Barely a foot above him water came gushing out of the pile, turning the sandy slope into a carnival mud slide. With a frustrated growl David found himself dragged all the way back down the pile by the sudden force. As soon as his feet were on solid ground once more, he stood and surveyed the damage, shaking mud globules out of his sleeves while he was at it. The mudslide had decimated the side of the pile, from the middle down the mud had spread, creating a swathe of slime and muck. He would have to start from the other side now. With that in mind, he walked around the pile, starting his climb over at the first clean spot he could find.

As he reached the middle of his climb once more, David carefully slipped past any traps available, smoothly moving up the hill. Within moments he had reached the top, and was standing over his prize. A small box, with no hint of what was inside. He was tempted once more to open it and find out, but wisely chose not to. Forgoing caution once more, he bent over and grabbed hold of the box.

As David ran into the labyrinth, he realized someone was definitely out to get him. A good half dozen kunai shot out of the shadows, quite obviously armed with explosives once more. Twisting his body to the side he managed to evade them however, and they passed by through the door. He had to wince a moment later, as by the sounds those explosives must have set off every trap built into the sand hill, there were more explosions than he could count, and the sound of stones and metal crashing into the bunker was overwhelming. He barely had time to thank God that he hadn't set that one off before the test, before he was on the move again.

" Hey KazeKage-sama! " Kir said running around a bit. " Look what I can do!" He said doing a back hand spring. " Ta Da!" He said landing infront of Yuu's clone. " Oh- " He said, getting hit by Yuu's hand, and falling over, his legs staying straight up from the wieght difference. " Crap... owwww." Kir said rubbing his chin.

" Wow... Glad I didn't get hit..." The clone said dispersing itself, as Yuu gave it a dirty look. " You ok Kir?" He said kneeling next to his Twin. " You know that was your fault right?" He said poking his brother.

As David neared the exit the launcher(s?) seemed to go into overdrive, spitting out kunai in outright streams of metal. In return, he did the only thing he could do. He ducked low, and went faster, running as if he himself was made of liquid. He slid through the gaps in the kunai barrage as the effects were revealed behind him, the walls unable to take this abuse any longer they crumbled and collapsed, slowly approaching his position. As he got even closer to the exit it was made apparent that he had two attackers, one on either side of the door. The kunai has split into two separate streams and were now crossing each other, creating explosions where he had been instants before. Taking the final lunge, David leaped out the door, leaving the launchers to shoot each other and complete the destruction, the building collapsing completely as he lay before it.

Slowly standing up, David carefully examined the box to be sure it was undamaged. Luckily it seemed he had kept it safe, as but for a few scratches, there was no sign of damage. Satisfied with the state of his package he moved over to where he could see the kage, along with a couple more people. Had they followed him here? "Never send me in there again." David said, holding up the box for her inspection. "Stinking explosive launchers were broken."

David nodded, moving towards the door with a casual wave over his shoulder. Stepping out the door and closing it behind him he paused for a moment. Turning around once more he stared through the window, at the desert scene within. Nodding to himself, he waved his hand over his body, collecting sand that had stuck to him from his various falls and crawls. Holding the hovering ball up over his finger, he began to rapidly spin it, before applying it to the wood of the door, slowly dragging it across the door, carving into it. After a few moments he let some of the sand fall off the ball, and made a smaller point, continuing his inscription. Once he was done he let the sand drop to the floor and stood back to admire his work for a moment. Smiling, he turned and left the building, headed for the tower.
