NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!
Late at night in the seedier streets and outskirts of Destiny City, something is happening. Street races on motorcycles are happening, already a questionably legal activity… well… no just outright illegal… but these ones seem to have an added twist. Some of the riders turn up dragging from unexplained exhaustion, lucky ones are found sleeping and can be eventually roused, but the unlucky fall to the mysterious and lethal comas that have been plaguing the city and die. It’s been hard to track down but rumors indicate that all of these riders have raced with a rider in black and orange, who no one seems to be able to identify. His bike is even custom made, black and ugly but fast. A few civilians have tried to chase him down to apply their own version of justice, but find themselves in dangerous skids with punctured tires.
Is this an urban legend? Or something more sinister?

NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!
Ares has now been MIA from Mirror Space for just over a week. Without her crystal to harness the energy that the Dark Mirror Senshi have been collecting, the Mirror Wraiths have begun acting disorderly! Wraiths are slipping through mirrors without being summoned and without a Dark Mirror Senshi, and have even started gathering energy on their own! More than that, they are becoming more aggressive and brazen than before.
While your Dark Mirror Senshi's Wraith can still be summoned, be careful! The wraiths are growing less and less obedient to the Dark Mirror Senshi. Some are even uncontrollable! Watch out; some don't seem to care where they're getting their energy from--and a Dark Mirror Senshi is as good a source as any!

NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!Recently posters have been going up around town advertizing that a spot has opened up on the Destiny City Council. This has caused the entire town to begin segregating in red and blue as people throw their hats into the ring to try to gain recognition and votes for their candidate. Buttons, flyers, and promises are everywhere! For those that want to be involved with the ORP campaign games and fun go HERE to register as a participant. All ages can be campaign workers and participate in the games but only 18+ characters may run for office. For those that want to solo - Does your character even care about the City Council? If they do, what do they want to see done with the City? If they don't, how do they react to the chaos and people that do? Are they antagonistic or just apathetic? Is it inconvenient to them and hinder their day to day life or can they skate by barely scathed? NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!

Attention all Officers of the Negaverse
You have been summoned. Every member of the Negaverse has been summoned to the Rift, or instructed to arrive, for a special meeting for each division of the Negaverse. In addition, a new database system for monitoring and sharing Negaverse information has been released, and it is the duty of all officers (particularly Intelligence) to keep this database updated. As noted within the meetings, energy draining has made a return and all officers are expected to use discretion as they gather energy from the public. The meetings are open for posting, but please keep general chatter to a minimum. There will be a time for that towards the end of the meetings.

Attention, Attention! The recent Negaverse meetings have now come to a close on official proceedings, but remain open for general chat to meet fellow officers. If you wish to post and mingle with other members of your division, now is the time to do so! For those who have attended the Infiltration meeting, you may know there is an upcoming job fair mini-event for which the sign up thread is now open! Whether you are employed or unemployed, civilian or powered, you are more than welcome to attend this shop and city-wide mini-event! Officers of the Infiltration branch of the Negaverse are especially encouraged to participate. Furthermore, there is another upcoming mini-event for the Negaverse, led by the Intelligence division! It is the duty of all officers, especially Intelligence officers, to update and study the database - and now they will be tested on their knowledge! The database is quite new, and is in need of updates. The more filled out the database is, the more fun and eventful this mini-event will be! In addition, there is also an upcoming mini-event for SpecOp officers of the Negaverse in the form of a camping trip! Details on this are to come, so stay tuned for more updates!

NEWSFLASH! NEWSFLASH!With the disappearance of their Queen and the Mirror Wraiths being out of control, the Negaverse has decided that the Dark Mirror Court is too much of a liability. All Dark Mirror Senshi have received a message from Eternal Sailor Leto on their compact mirror communicators to let them know that they are no longer bound by their previous alliance with the Negaverse. All members are encouraged to maintain their relations with the Negaverse as they are not the enemy, however if engaged in battle with them they should fight back. Dark Mirror Court Senshi are able to work with the Negaverse as little or as much as they like. If there are any questions or concerns regarding the Alliance, all Court members are asked to come to Leto or Remarque directly. NEWSFLASH! DESTINY CITY ECLIPSE BLOCK PARTY!
Location: Main Street from Hampton Ave to Cedar Creek Blvd.
Time: 5PM - Midnight Actual eclipse begins at 9:14pm
Destiny City Hall invites you to a party of lunar proportions! A city-wide eclipse viewing party has been set up for you, your family and friends! Food, drinks and live entertainment provided on behalf of the Mayor. Everyone is encouraged to attend!
Shops along the route will be open along with several other local hotspots! Come enjoy local food, friends and shopping while you get a glimpse of the lunar eclipse! Games for children include a scavenger hunt, water activities in the park and moon pie eating contests! Live bands will be playing for everyone. Activities for adults include a mixology contest, lunar-themed costume contest and more!
Tell your friends! We'll see you there!
Please note, when this thread/event opens, that this is not a run of the mill ORP just for fun. NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH! For weeks meteorologists have been talking about a lunar eclipse, with the chatter escalating the closer it got to the official date. Unlike a solar eclipse, the safe visibility with the naked eye of a lunar eclipse presented a unique opportunity for viewing, especially with a clear summer night on the forecast. Given the opportunity, the mayor and Destiny City Hall took it upon themselves to fund a few official eclipse parties across the city, encouraging local shopping, tourism and general good will. Drinks, food, live music and entertainment were provided in conjuction by the city and businesses participating. Games and events such as a scavenger hunt, moon pie eating contests, a mixology contest, and lunar-themed costume contest were being advertised to further add to the excitement. As the day finally arrived the chatter and activity had reached an apex, it seemd like everyone knew about the event between sea of flyers littering the city and the mentions via news broadcasts. The main streets of Destiny City are filling with people ready to shop, party, and watch the moon. The eclipse is expected to last a few hours. But the party? Want to join? Make sure you post in the ORP first!))NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH! Night Two - the night after the eclipse partyAs night falls everyone notices something very strange. The eclipse that was supposed to have begun and ended last night.. appear to still be hanging in the sky. The moon remains blotted out and the streets are dark and full of confusion. Even the meterologists have little more then speculation and confusion to offer. Didn't the TV say they normally last a few hours? Some go out to investigate while others stay inside and wait for a someone to provide a logical answer. Some might not even care? However in the dark streets something strange is definitely going on. Some who attended the parties are confronted by dark doppelgangers, strange creatures that seem to look exactly like them! And they don't seem to want to just have a talk. Civilians are the first to have these strange doppelgangers attack them. Some people start to notice "twins" of themselves running about Destiny City. These "twins" seem to be solely intent on hurting or even killing the person they are cloning! The rooftops are besieged by even more clones - this time of the 'terrorists'. These powered clones seek out their originals with murderous intent, ignoring all else in favor of their target. Some of the braver or more curious members of your faction and your allies may have mentioned running into clones as well. Clones with powers just like their own. What is going on with the moon? Where are these strange clones coming from? And what, if anything, can be done about either? NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!

Night ThreeAs daylight came and the darkness and strange clones disappeared, many believed, or at least hoped, that it was over. They were wrong. As night fell the moon appeared once more blotted out in the strange unending eclipse, and with the darkness of the night the aggressive shadowed clones returned. Attempts to speak or reason with them reveals very little information - they simply want to kill you but will not say why. In fact, you're not sure if they CAN say much of anything. Any who go out are inevitably found by the shadowy hunters and aggressively pursued no matter where they go in Destiny City. The fact that the clones seem to have the same powers is equally terrifying and confusing. With the playing field so even, people may find it difficult to fight off their evil twin alone. NEWS FLASH! Want to join? Make sure you post in the ORP first!))NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH! Night FourDespite the seeming safety of daylight, paranoia is slowly bubbling. The news media is in a frenzy about 'strange doppelgangers' and the amount of attacks on people occurring at night. Is it the government? Terrorists? Aliens? The Apocalypse? The people of Destiny City are unsure of who to trust - are the people in their family alright? What if some of them are those evil twins? The police are stretched thin - their resources dedicated to the numerous assault cases surging more and more every night. People try to stay indoors with others they trust and still night blankets the city. Some powered character have discovered that remaining powered down keeps the creatures from coming after them. Others may have discovered that there are certain places 'outside' Destiny City that the clones can't seem to follow. Any unlucky civilians are not so lucky. Those who have been investigating may have noticed that clones are beginning to mention serving for a 'Queen' but do not give information beyond that. By now some of the clones have been successfully defeated. Others have.. whether people realize it or not.. successfully defeated their original and taken over their identities totally. Working with friends and allies or forming shaky alliances with members of the opposite faction has produced some successful results. Shades don't seem to have any semblance of camaraderie. But is it really smart to work together with the enemy? Regardless of any successes the number of Shade Fairy clones running wild is daunting. They seem to be winning, how much longer can people hold out against this unknown threat? NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!
