"My father expected that, so he did give me the royal seal, and a few summoning seals to summon squads of our elite army forces if anyone disobeyes me..." he paused to build up the drama of his statement. "But I was also given a large sum of gold, so I suppose I'll be kind enough to let them live." he said, he smiled but in a flash his expression turned serious. "But you said there have been other contacts? The war ended near a thousand years before you and I were born, are you saying there are still spies?"

Belial looked back in a simple manner..
"notlike it was a big deal. see, i dunno its kind of forbodden land. there have been travelers lost in there. There were rumours of inhabitants past the veil... it happens sort of randomly. Like somepeople of course tried to go to the twilight... but they were probably killed, ifieveryone there is as nice as you. Its been shrouded in mystery for a very longtime. Sometimes ... i think the scientitst at the imperial city called themanomolies... anyways anomolies would pop up over a village and then we would find the village burned after itdissappeared. We havent had civilized contact, but there has been enough for us to remember that generations ago s**t hit the ******** fan. thats not to say the goddesses havemnt abandoned us. The only reason i myself beleive in that malraky at all is because being the "avatar of flame" i kinda have to or else tons and tons of villages would just slip into chaos. To tell the truth, iu dont know what kindashit the priests of flame smoke, but i havent felt any kind of embodiment of fire within myself. You'd think itdlike pop up when i really needed it if the goddess really was on earth through me... but ya... i dunno nuthin yet."
He held up his hand and it began to shake... thens topped.
"Nope..."

"Hmm, I see....perhaps father has killed your goddesses already. I knew that alongside the chosen one Kurama, a water goddess lead an attack. He killed them both, so it's not all too impossible."

Myia frowned as she thought over Belial's comment. She looked at the both of them and shook her head. "What ever you say." She looked back at Kuroi. "No. I'm Paying." She smiled. "Cause I don't have to pay a thing." She grinned. "I know the people how own the inn. So there is no worries."

Belial heaved out a sigh.... he knew his goddesses couldnt be dead, or else why would the religion remain? Some people far to the west were idiots and worshipped a false goddess of everything, but he knew better, he should. He shook his head out and wished there was some sign of the goddesses remaining.
It had even become apparent that people had learned to change their magic to manipulating metal. From what he had read of banned texts metal, used to be forbidden because it was a magic of the twilight, and now? where were the lementals who had staved it off?

He nodded an approval. "Very well. I think I should teach you how to get a grip on your elemental cotrol. It's going to be tough, as you are human. Then again father said that in the war humans had joined to rebel side and had become quite powerful elementals, so it's not impossible...." he looked at Belial. "Well, that is if you truly are an elemental."

Myia grinned and continued on. "Aw you're so a goody-two-shoes aren't you. Always following daddies rules." She said dad with a harsh tone. "Wow." She sighed and shook her head. "You don't know how to read peoples aura? Some demon you are." She said. "Elementals have a different aura then normal people do."

He let out a low growl while blushing. "Not yet, I can only see their aura, not tell the difference. And I'm no goody-two-shoes: just anyone who goes against father is destroyed anyway." he said, not knowing what a goody-two-shoes was but not liking the sound of it.

Myia bursted out laughing. "That's the most idiotic thing I have ever heard in my life time. I went against my father many times, I broke the rules many times as well and yet I am still here. Now what does that say." She stopped laughing. "It says your home is over controlling and brain washing it's people." She looked at Kuroi. "You follow the rules so you are a goody-two-shoes."

"My father is king who has a whole kingdom to rule and after the war doesn't want another rebelion happening, so any one who disobeys is charged with being a rebel and is given a death sentence. I doubt your father has the same environment." he glared at her.

"I wasn't there, the war ended near a thousand years before I, Belial or you were even born......all I know is humans have been treated as scum even before I was born. Perhaps that could have been the reason but...." he looked to the ground with a sullen expression. "Really the war is over? To me it sounds like it is still going on." Myia said walking up beside Kuroi. She put her hand on his shoulder. "Not all humans are as bad as your father has made them out to be." She put her head down. "'Cause most likely they did as told." She said. She looked at him with caring eyes. "I am positive you can not read your fathers mind, so learn to listen to peoples voices. Sometimes by just listening you can tell if they are lying or not."
