Damian smiled at Anna's attempt at humor and replied jokingly "Yeah. I've been sure to hit the gym at least twice a day everyday."
But he was really concerned for Anna's sake. Although she claimed that she hadn't been crying, Damian knew her better than that. Anna liked to be tough and she didn't like to cry, not even pain tears. She was obviously in a bit of pain and she wasn't telling him. He pressed a finger to one of her ankles and then the other, looking for some reaction from her so that he could figure out which one was hurting and if they would need to go to the hospital wing.

Vlaityn smiled and shook her head, always up to put her opinion next to Sezer's.
"I like the way they live. It's so straightforward. Sometimes I feel like the wizarding world is too frivolous. Maybe that's not the right word. It almost seems to have too much to it. " Vlaityn frowned at the thought, before putting on a thoughtful face. "You remember two summers ago how I went without my parents levitating things for me and whatnot. I didn't mind it." Then again, Vlaityn could be odd. "If I recall, you called it absurd." She grinned at that.
And the thought of Sezer pinning her down, Vlaityn smiled broadly with only a hint of a blush. "Oh, you're going to change my mind, hmm?" Vlaityn teased back, but in the back of her head, she knew the only person she'd stay for would have been Sezer. "You watch your back Sezer, or I'll pin you and carry you off. Excellent arm candy."

A small smile bloomed on Anna's features. She was grateful he didn't verbally poke and prod, demanding to know what was wrong.
She leaned against the back of her chair, yet her head was off to the side a bit, facing away from him. Her left ankle was fine, but, dammit all, the butterflies were back, and, as such, she couldn't be certain if she felt sick or if it was the butters. After two seconds of contemplation, she decided it was the butterflies. When he pressed his finger to her right ankle, she winced delicately. "It's that one. The right." She told him, proud her voice did not break. She lifted her head off the chair and turned to look at him.
"I'm fine, though. I just need to rest. No hospital wing for me," she swept her palm across her face, facing outward, "no sir. I'm fine. I promise." She added, fixing him with a look.

Sezer shrugged indifferently, a tad difficult to do when her arms were on his shoulders. Not that he terribly minded. In fact, he thoroughly thought that if she were to remove her arms he would feel a strange emptiness that would annoy him to no end.
"Why, yes," he nodded, "I believe I did call it absurd. And then I believe you called me something like a 'lazy, over-privileged git'. Then I believe I so graciously reminded you that Grandfather has me do yard work. In fact, every summer he makes me go for a week straight without magic. It's quite horrible, actually. He even takes my wand." Ended his chattering, he grinned.
"But of course. I'm much bigger than you. If I really wanted to, I'm sure I could accomplish something. Oh you're going to attack me from behind are you? That's a tad difficult, dear Vlaityn, when I won't let you from in front of me, isn't it?" He was just on a roll, wasn't he? If he wasn't careful he was going to say something stupid. "I'm just your arm candy?" He inquired curiously, still joking and yet genuinely curious. "What if I told you you were my 'arm candy'?"

Damian looked at Anna warily. While it was probably best that she was did rest, he didn't know if it was such a good idea to not let the school nurse take a look at it. "Alright." he agreed, grudgingly. He then added with a bit of humor, "If it doesn't feel better tomorrow, then I better see you in the hospital wing first thing, even if you have to get there by broomstick."
He stood up and asked, "Would you like me to carry to Gryffindor tower or would you prefer just a shoulder to lean on?" He was actually hoping to carry her up to the tower, despite the fact that Gryffindor tower was so far away.

Anna smiled gratefully at him. Both because of his incentive to keep on joking and because he asked if she'd like to be carried. The answer was obvious - to her, at least. She would love to be carried by him. It gave her and excuse to be close to him. And it made those dammed, and yet somehow nice-feeling, butterflies come back and increase tenfold. And, well, she'd love to.. But it just wasn't her style.
She got up on one foot, wobbly, and declared, "I can walk." Until that is, a breeze blew in from outside and nearly knocked her over. She caught herself, though, severely off balance because of her injured ankle, and surrendered. She held her arms out as if she were getting shackled, smiling at him timidly, and yet sassily at the same time, from beneath her hair.
"Take me, I'm yours." She teased him mischievously.

"You can't keep me here forever, Sezer." Vlaityn laughed at him, glad he was slipping into comfortable teasing. "You'll have to let your back into my view sometime." She threatened teasingly before being cut off by his arm candy inquiry.
"Much more than just arm candy." She assured him with a grin. "Arm candy, homework savior, my book buddy, my favorite over-privileged git..." She chuckled before considering herself as arm candy. "I guess I've never thought of being on somebody's arm in such a manor. Well, I'd be the luckiest piece of candy I do suppose!" Vlaityn nodded in assurance, trying to pull off honesty and a joking manor. "What if I was your arm candy, Sezer?" She was expecting him to serve up another tease.

Sezer smirked jokingly, his english accent a tad heavier here. "I can try, can't I?" Though it was Vlaityn who had the accent around these parts, he felt his accent leaked through his words a bit more there.
His brow raised curiously at her comment. "Well, that's something I can be proud of. .. Being your favorite over-privileged git. .. You don't have a favorite under-privileged git by chance, do you? Should I be worried?" He smirked at her. Sezer almost laughed again. Almost. Each time he was getting closer and closer. And all because of this young lady. He answered her inquiry. "Oh, I'd be very pleased." He replied, faced with a very similar dilemma as she. He, too, was quite serious, and yet he was trying to be teasing at the same time. He felt it sounded rather odd, but, who knew?

"Oh heavens, no. Your my favorite git of all types! Nobody could top you." Vlaityn exclaimed with the shake of her head. What a prize it was to be her most beloved git. The gittiest?
Vlaityn could only smile and sigh at the circle the candy conversation had taken. "Wouldn't we just be the happiest pieces of candy around."
Letting the conversation lapse for a moment or two, Vlaityn decided to voice her opinion on it all.
"We just talked in a circle."

Sezer smirked. "Well, that's good to know." He shrugged once more at her next comment. Or as best he could. Not that he terribly minded, again. "Circles are fun, you know. They've no corners. Or straight lines. Just degrees." Enough with the math, he decided. Pretending to get all dramatic, he cleared his throat, and spoke in a voice deeper than his own, attempting to add drama to the effect.
"Vlaityn, would you be my arm candy?" He joked.

If Vlaityn had had use of a free hand, she would have thrown it over her mouth to silence the laugh that had jumped out all on it's will. She couldn't help it, Sezer was just so entertaining when he did he dramatic act and voice. It tickled her pink, to put it simply.
"Well of course, Sezer." Vlaityn chuckled at the candy references. They were making her hungry. But in the back of her mind, she was editing Sezer's words slightly to something she could more pleasantly day dream of for weeks.

Sezer smiled a bit more, both because that stupid fluttery feeling in his stomach was returning, and because it pleased him - the idea of Vlaityn as his arm candy. Though some girls would take offense to that, he knew, it seemed a bit odd to him. Vlaityn was a prize, and why shouldn't one let the whole world know? 'Hey, she's my prize, you can't have her. Back off.' Not that she was an object or item to be won, mind you, it was just... sort of a like Nobel Prize, he supposed. Perhaps he could compare her to that without sounded egotistical and sexist? Hmm.
Sezer smirked again, eying her intently through his spectacles. "You do realize what you've gotten yourself into, haven't you?" He paused, and, when he felt he simply had to speak or he was liable to burst, he added, "I've just asked you to be my girlfriend. And you, Miss Vlaityn, unless I'm quite mistaken and all the ink has finally gone to my head, which is quite possible, have accepted."

Vlaity slowed herself from a speed from dancing [or what they were trying to pass off as a dance] to a complete halt. Doing so, she looked up at Sezer with a strange mix of fear and embarrassment. What she was expecting to see was him brimming to the top at his own joke. But that's not exactly what his face showed. He had more of a look of utter amusement and maybe something akin to the word giddy. Yet still completely Sezer-ish in his air of regality and control.
Utterly scrambled up on the inside for a minute, Vlaityn let the relative quiet, or lack of talking, sit for a moment before nodding her head and looking back up to Sezer with an oddly mixed countenance. "I'm pretty sure that would be the absolute best thing I could have ever gotten myself into."

"Don't be so sure." Sezer warned her good naturedly. A teasing tone was to his voice, and yet he was completely serious. He'd stumbled to a halt when she had, and, had nearly stepped on her foot in what he was sure was an amusing display of his marvelous dexterity. Ahhh, sarcasm. Fresh-baked sarcasm, at that. Smell that? Hell, yeah, that's dry humor. All very good for you, you know.
Just then did Sezer notice a suspicious-looking blue pixie in what appeared to be a miniature tuxedo, hovering over unsuspecting couple's heads in a humorous attempt to get them to kiss. That is, it was humorous for everyone besides the two. However, since Sezer had not yet been a victim of the dreaded 'mistletoe pixies', as they were affectionately referred to as, he found them amusing. Up until the point in time, just a few seconds ago, when he discovered that they were likely to hover over his head at any given moment. One, appaarently sensing his sudden displeasure, made to fly over to them, until he, in a moment of pure luck, swatted at it in a vain attempt to get it to move. Or at least he'd suspected it had been vain. He'd seen couples all night attempting to bat them away, and not a one had succeeded. Even quidditch stars, with their honed reflexes.
So you can imagine how much it surprised him when he succeeded in shooing one away.
"Fine," a shrill voice cooed above their heads, glaring at him, "You don't deserve a kiss, anyhow. Especially from this young lady." The pixie gestured to Vlaityn. It then flew down near her ear, and spoke to her, knowing full-well that Sezer could hear and yet clearly not caring. "You could do much better, sweetie," he advised Vlaityn, and then flew off.
Sezer stared after it in astonishment, blinking quizzically twice.

Completely taken off guard by the mischievous pixie that had appeared over them, Vlaityn quite forgot herself and burst into a small fit of snickers when it advised her she would do much better than Sezer.
Not that she was laughing at it's truthfulness, for there was none there. But rather that a thing so small in stature had just attempted to knock the mighty Sezer down a few pegs, leaving him quite astonished. The amusing factor of it all was just grand.
After her laughter had calmed, Vlaityn looked up at Sezer apologetically. "Sorry." She smiled warmly at him before speaking again. "The pixie was incorrect on both accounts, you know."
